Nothing in my head, but Levi trying PDA for the first time.
It was snowing. The air was chilly, and the wind stung your face as you braced through the cold. Most of the cadets were back home to celebrate Christmas, but a few of you stayed back to stand by (and of course, without a home to go back to).
Nanaba, Miche, Levi and you were tasked to shop for some extra food for the Christmas and Levi's birthday celebration. Although you insisted that Levi should stay back but he came anyway. You were fresh in your relationship with Levi. Only Erwin and Miche were suspecting you were together, but Levi never said anything about it and you hesitated to tell.
After the cashier rang up everything, Nanaba was busy counting the change, you stood by the side of the road, each hand carrying a bag of goods, staring at the bakery's display window. There was a diversity of cakes, breads, tarts and fruit danishes on showcase. The window is slightly fogged up with the warmth of the fresh baked goods, and the sweet aroma of freshly baked danishes seeped through the slit of the door.
There was not enough budget for a cake large enough for all the cadets that stayed back, so it was decided to settle for butter cookies instead. Miche was paying up for the cookies inside the bakery. You could see his silhouette inside by the cashier, making small talks about something.
Just then, you felt a palm slid into yours. You turned to find Levi standing next to you, staring at the bakery's window as well. Your palm in the thin glove could feel the warmth of Levi's skin. You looked down to make sure what you felt was real. And yes, he was holding your hand in public. Levi squeezed your palm and you looked up at him. He was watching you with his head tilted to the side. "Anything you want from here?" He nodded his head toward the bakery.
"N-no, we've got everything." You swallowed nervously. Levi's eyes bore into yours, "not from the list for the brats, anything you want from the bakery?" You felt your cheeks heat up and you averted your gaze from his face toward the bakery.
"I'm fine!" You blurted out too fast. From your side eye, you could see Levi nodded. Before you could react, Levi took the bag from your hand and turned around. Nanaba, who was standing behind you, was stunned by what she just saw. Levi took another bag from you and walked away. You quietly followed behind. Miche exited the bakery and raised his eyebrows at Nanaba.
Nanaba mouthed "I saw them holding hands!" Miche eyes widened in surprise, shrugged and said "you owe my 5 bucks, Nanaba."

Daryl Dixon x fem!reader
Summary:: Daryl finally gets tired of your teasing (inspired by my favorite season 3 carol/daryl moment)
Warnings: NSFW, smut, p in v, no use of y/n, not proofread
word count: 2.1k
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The group had been running all of the harsh winter after a herd of walkers had come and destroyed the Greene’s family farm in a fiery horror. Weeks of running and hiding, trying their best to survive. Everyone was exhausted and scared, running on fumes. Adrenaline was the only thing keeping them going. Everyone except for Daryl Dixon. He seemed to be in his element out here, as if he was born to be surviving like this.
Daryl usually scouted ahead on his motorcycle, checking for any trouble they might run into. He would return to the group with food for the night, and you quickly became accustomed to the chalky taste of fire charred armadillo.
You noticed how well Daryl seemed to thrive, and decided to stick close to him. He seemed indifferent about you, not taking the time to spare you a look while you followed him around.
The days went on as you shadowed his every move, learning about how he could survive so well. Daryl slowly became accustomed to your presence, despite how annoying he found you. He started to teach you some skills like how to track and skin animals. “If you spent as much time cleaning yourself like you do that crossbow you might smell better” You had teased him one evening. Just like every other time you said something to him, he would simply scowl and grumble.
The two of you continued to stick together, or as Daryl would say you were “following him like a lost puppy.” That was until the group had stumbled upon their salvation, a prison. Of course, it was overrun by the undead. You all worked together to clear it, finally having a safe place for the first time in weeks.
The group was celebrating, all gathered around a large fire pit and chatting. You decided to sleep in one of the guard offices, wanting a roof over your head. Feeling generous, you invited Daryl to join you, “Come on Dixon, even you could use a break. I’ve got an extra sleeping bag with your name on it.” Daryl looked at you with annoyance before he begrudgingly accepted.
You creaked open the door and walked into the small guard room. The place hadn’t been touched in months and it was a shocking difference from the places you had slept before. You laid out the tattered bedrolls on the ground, making sure to leave ample space between the two.
Daryl threw his bag and crossbow down in the corner of the room, you watched how his muscles flexed as he did so. You settled down into your sleeping bag, and kicked your muddy boots off to the side.
The room was cloaked in darkness, the only light a faint flickering in through the window from the distant campfire. The silence was heavy, except the soft rustle of your movement as you settled in.
Your body had given in to the exhaustion as your eyes fluttered shut and your breathing slowed. It didn’t last long however, you found yourself struggling to stay asleep.
It was the middle of the night by now, frustrated from your inability to fall asleep you sit up with your back against the cold wall. Your gaze turns to the side as you hear Daryl stirring. The fire outside was burning low now, and you could just barely make out his silhouette as he sat up as well.
“Can’t sleep?” You questioned, your voice low and soft. He nods and grunts, his eyes glancing over at you. “Me either. It’s too quiet” you admitted to him. “Feels too… normal.”
“Normal” Daryl scoffed at the word. “Ain’t nothin’ normal ‘bout the world anymore.” You nodded in agreement, nothing could ever truly make you feel normal or safe again.
As the two of you sat in silence, you couldn’t help but study the man you had grown close to over the past weeks. He could feel your eyes burning into his skin as you stared at the imprint of his muscles under his sleeve.
“Pretty romantic don’t you think?” You said to him, leaning forward slightly. “Wanna screw around?” A small smirk on your lips as you teased him. You knew that he would probably just brush you off or tell you to shut up.
To your shock, he answered; “Oh yeah?” His voice was low and husky. You could feel your face heat up at his remark, not prepared for him to actually reply.
“Uh well-“ you tried to respond, but your brain had stopped functioning. Daryl moved over to where you sat and leaned in close to you. His eyes locked onto yours, his presence becoming overwhelming.
His lips moved down next to your face, “What, lost your nerve girl?” He murmured into your ear, his warm breath sending shivers down your spine. Your lips parted as you attempted to say something, anything. The only sound that managed to leave your lips was a small whimper.
“I seen the way you been lookin’ at me,” Daryl moved his large and calloused hand to cradle the side of your neck while his thumb stroked your cheek. You closed your eyes tightly, wondering if this was really happening.
His voice was a low grumble, “You ain’t gotta say nothin’” you could feel your heart pounding as he spoke. “No point in pretendin’ anymore.” You swallowed hard, your throat dry. The way he was looking down on you made you shrink under his gaze. His hand tightened slightly on your neck, gently bringing you back to the reality of his touch against your skin. “You sure you want this?” He whispered against your skin.
“Yes,” you said back, you could feel your face growing red with anticipation. Daryl pulled back, a small smirk on his lips as his hands moved to the hem of your shirt. He tugged it up and over your head in a swift movement. He paused for a moment as his eyes moved to study your exposed skin with a hunger that made you shiver.
Daryl moved down quickly, capturing your lips with his. Your eyes fluttered shut and both of your bodies pressed together, you slung your arms around his neck to pull him in. You could hear ringing in your ears as his tongue slipped against your bottom lip, you parted them slightly to allow him access. His large hands roamed your body, stroking and grabbing at your flesh. You inhaled his scent, the mix of musk, leather and smoke mingling in your nostrils.
His mouth moved down to your jawline, peppering hot kisses against your skin. You groaned loudly in response, your body arching and begging for more. Daryl’s hands moved lower to the hem of your jeans, sending electricity through your body.
He pushed your back flush against the cold wall, the contrast between the chill and the heat of your bodies together heightened your senses. You felt his lips move down your throat, the stubble of his beard scratching against your skin as his mouth went to your navel. Daryl’s fingers moved to the button’s on your jeans and quickly undid them, promptly tugging your jeans off.
The cold air hit your legs as Daryl tossed your jeans aside. He ran his hands up your thighs, his calloused and rough hands gliding over your skin. Your breaths were soft and ragged, you could see a hunger in Daryl’s eyes that made your core ache.
His lips met yours again, kissing you rough and urgently. His large hands found your waist and pressed your harder against the wall. You wrapped your legs around his waist and pulled him closer. Once again his lips traveled down to your neck, nipping and sucking at the skin while leaving marks you knew would last for days.
“You still with me girl?” Daryl pulled back slightly, whispering into your skin. All you could manage was a nod, too overwhelmed to make a coherent sentence. He smirked at you, his hand snaking down to your cotton panties, teasing the edge of them with his fingers. He slipped his hand underneath the fabric, his finger’s finding your slick heat. You let out a guttural moan and felt your body tense as he explored your folds. “So wet for me” he said, a smirk on his lips.
All you could do was nod frantically as he found your bundle of nerves. He set an excruciatingly slow pace, stroking and teasing you. Your hips bucked against his touch, begging for more. Daryl pressed two fingers firmly against your bud and began to circle it rhythmically, occasionally dipping back into your folds. You threw your head back and stabled yourself with your hands on his broad shoulders.
Daryl suddenly withdrew his hand, making your whimper in frustration. Before you could say anything, he hooked his fingers around the side of your panties and pulled them off in one fluid motion. “Ain’t done with you yet.” He growled.
He pushed himself between your legs, you could feel his hard bulge through the rough material of his jeans as he grinded against your sensitive heat. Your hands moved to the button’s of his shirt, desperate to feel his skin on yours. He helped you and shrugged the fabric off of him, exposing his hard muscles underneath. Your fingers traced his chest, feeling how his body tensed under your touch.
Daryl undid his belt, looking down at you as it hit the floor with a clang. He pushed his jeans down, exposing his throbbing cock. You moaned as you saw his hand move to stroke the girthy length, the tip glistened with pre-cum. He moved to position himself between your legs and rubbed the tip along your wet folds with a groan.
“This what you want?” He questioned, his eyes scanning yours. You nodded again, your body tensing with anticipation.
“Use your words girl” Daryl commanded you, his voice hard.
“Yes please” you whimpered, your voice heavy with need. That was all he needed before filling you up with a slow thrust of his hips. You could feel his body tensing with the effort it was taking him not to start fucking you wildly.
“Fuck” He hissed as he completely sheathed himself inside you. He began to move, rocking his hips back and forth. Your arms reached out to his shoulders, your nails digging into his flesh, his cock stretching and filling you. Daryl’s hands gripped your hips firmly, keeping you in place as he thrust into you. He starts slowly, allowing your walls to mold around the shape and size of his cock.
His dark hair falls over his face as he towers over you, pinning your body with his muscular one. “Daryl-” you whimpered, barely able to form more than one word as he continued to thrust into you.
“Say my name,” he demanded, his voice a low growl in your ear.
“Daryl,” you gasped out, your voice breaking as the pleasure became almost too much to bear. He rewarded you quickly by driving himself even deeper into you. His cock easily slid in and out of your slick, leaving you gripping his shoulders for support, your nails biting into his skin.
Every thrust made your body shudder, the knot in your stomach tightening with each roll of his hips. "That's it," he murmured, his breath hot against your skin as he kept his relentless pace. "Just like that." He groaned your name as your hips bucked up to meet his movements, loving the friction between your bodies.
"Daryl-" You whimpered once again, feeling the pleasure building up within you. He cursed, pounding into you with a newfound intensity. His rough, calloused hands rubbed against you as he fucked you up against the wall.
"Soon," Daryl warned you as he leaned in to nip at your neck. You could feel your release building, your core tightening painfully.
You let out a deep moan, your body shaking uncontrollably as your orgasm waved over you. Your walls clenched and throbbed around his hard cock. Seeing you unravel underneath him sent a shock through him, his hips snapping hard against your skin. His cock twitched inside you as he reached his finish. Your hips bucked against his, his body shuddering as he came deep inside you. His hot seed spilled deep inside you. His body was trembling against yours, every muscle flexing as he came down from his orgasm.
Daryl pulled out of you, his seed dripping from your folds onto the floor as he collapsed beside you, breathing heavily. You closed your eyes tightly, your breathing ragged as you tried to catch your breath. Neither of you spoke for a moment, both of your bodies relaxing from the intense coupling.
Daryl moved to lay next to you, his calloused hand found yours, intertwining your fingers together with surprising gentleness. "Rest," he ordered, his voice heavy with exhaustion. You smiled softly, a warmth spreading through your chest.
Your eyes fluttered shut, falling into a peaceful sleep with Daryl next to you.

Little baby drabble to celebrate my sleep-deprived self eating cold chicken nuggets with Chic-fil-a Polynesian sauce eXACTLY like this at 3am
Tumblr media
The muted sound of air hissing wakes you from your sleep. Well, it wasn’t only the air; you did have to go pee too. You blink a few times, rubbing your eyes to try and center yourself, wondering if it was just a hallucination. That’s when you hear it again…. And again… and again…
Best to go investigate. Was it a ghost? An appliance? Did you leave the faucet on?
Nope.
When you step outside your bedroom door, the sound got clearer, growing more and more loud until you had reached the kitchen.
There, you saw the faint light of the refrigerator and a figure hunched over it. You were about to jump on their case until you hear the sound again, followed by a hum of approval.
You step closer and closer, bleary eyes and barely conscious. When you reach the foot of the fridge, you realize that the silhouette was none other than your beloved boyfriend.
“Babe, iz 2 in the mornin’,” you slur, causing your beloved to tense. “Why’re you ‘wake?”
He turns around to reveal exactly what he was doing, and a mouthful of what you had just heard. He smiles (well, as much as one can smile with a mouthful of food), plucking a strawberry from its container and shaking the can of whipped cream. “Strbebby?” he asks, voice greatly contorted.
You close your eyes as a smile creeps onto your lips. “I’d love a ‘strbebby’,” you tease, grabbing the fruit from his fingertips.
He swallows and laughs a bit as you take a bite. “Open,” he demands and you obey. He sprays a small amount of whipped cream in your mouth, quickly doing the same for himself.
You both swallow the the food in your mouths, laughing with little exhales through the nose. He pulls you in for a gentle kiss. “Tastes sweet…” he murmurs.

Sugar Rush Sugar daddy! Leon x fem! reader
warnings: NSFW, sugardaddy! Leon, fem! reader, oral (f receiving), praise kink, age gap
summary: broke reader looks for a sugar daddy which happens to be Leon S. Kennedy
words: 4.1k
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“A week? How am I expected to find the money for rent by then?”
“I’ve given you 2 months to figure that out. This is the last straw, if rent is not paid by then, I’m afraid I’ll have to kick you out.”
“But I don’t even have a job I-”
The asshole hung up. Yet another door slamming right in your face. You throw your phone down on your couch as you sit next to it and contemplate what to do next. You can’t find enough money to pay in the span of a week, that’s impossible. You’ve been eating instant ramen for almost 3 weeks straight to cut down on costs, you’re starting to forget what real food tastes like.
You sigh and think about how you ended up in this situation in the first place, once being a hopeful college student who just graduated, full of energy, life, and so much optimist it’s nauseating. Found a new apartment in the capital and moved in a week later to find a job with nothing other than 3 cents to your name and a dream. You anticipated that finding a job with your degree won’t be such a difficult task, sure, your GPA wasn’t the best, but surely it won’t be that hard to secure a job.
If only you knew how naïve you were.
You’ve spent the past 4 months looking for a job left and right. Are people seriously not hiring these days? Either that or someone is praying on your downfall, or perhaps both. You’re way past the state of rock bottom at this point, if you looked through a dictionary for the word “fucked” a picture of your face would be there instead, smiling proudly with a medal around your neck. Your fingers claw at your life-long dreams as they try to slip away from your grasp.
Picking the skin off your lips, you start thinking about how you might have to move back to your home town, live with your parents again while they give you the ‘I told you so’ look, have to deal with people’s comments on why you came back and then have explain like a low life loser why. You start racking your brain for ways to find money, you need cash, and you need it fast.
How about you start selling drugs? Nah, you’d never survive in a field like that. Become a stripper perhaps? You’d fall off that pole and break your neck before you would’ve made a single penny. Your brain is filtering through the possible options you have at hand so quickly, your positive that smoke is coming out your ears at this rate. And that’s when you get it, the answer you were looking for.
A sugar daddy.
Bingo. The picture in your head features a white light with the silhouette of a smoking hot man in a suit leaning on a Porshe in the distance as dollar bills fall like flower petals angelically behind him. You do find older men a little hot, not that you tried dating any, but you’re not opposed to the idea of doing so. You’re no stranger to developing crushes on some older celebrities and video game characters, so this shouldn’t be any different…right? Look, you didn’t want it to reach this point, but desperate times call for desperate measures and in a week from now, you’re going to be homeless if you don’t start searching for someone’s dad to date right now. And apparently that’s all it took to convince you, as you find yourself downloading the app already.
Once the download is complete you open it, and you’re starting setting up your account. You pick the nicest picture you have of yourself, and it doesn’t take long before your account is good to go. Your eyes scan the matches that pop up on the screen, seeing the different faces in front of you that could be your new ticket of getting out of the predicament you’re in. And as you look, you read some of the disgusting bios that these men have, and soon enough a wave of self-awareness comes crashing down on you making you feel utterly disgusted with yourself. Are you seriously willing to go on dates with these dirty old men whose intentions are most definitely filthy, and for what? A hundred or two? You’re better than that, you’re an inspiring young woman with so mu-
Ding!
The device in your hand vibrates, grabbing your attention as you get sent a message request from someone on the app.  You open the message, the username is L.S.Kennedy and his message says
“Are all girls usually this pretty? Or is it just you?”.
You stare at the message in front of you for a good minute, that might’ve been the cheesiest thing you’ve ever read since middle school. The account that sent it doesn’t have a profile picture and the bio just mentions his age. He is in his early forties, and aside from that you know nothing about the man. Your survival instincts start kicking in telling you that it’s a bad idea, talking to strangers especially men, online is how most people end up murdered only for their bodies to be found in a ditch. In addition, this man is cringy as fuck, there is no way he thought that would actually work. Those fifty dollars are not worth the years these jokes of his are going to take off your life span. No way, won’t work, you’d rather be homeless.
Ding!
“Sorry if I came on too strong, I want to get to know you. How about 500$ for a first date? I’m willing to go higher.”
Your eyes go wide as you reread the number on your screen over, and over again. 500$. One date.
You love cringy and sappy shit, always had. They are in fact your favorite, love you a man with some cheesy pick-up lines. Call it love, call it fate, but this L.S.Kennedy guy is actually starting to grow on you.
“Hi! No not at all, I’d like to know you as well.”
Okay, that’s a lie. Being a slut and a liar is too much. You couldn’t care less about getting to know him, but alas rent won’t pay itself. The two of you then start talking for around an hour or two, he seems like a really nice guy. His name is apparently Leon and actually lives not too far away. His jokes are well… interesting. Epitome of dad jokes but again the man is the same age as your dad so that’s no surprise. On the bright side, he’s respectful and shockingly hasn’t said anything sexual or made you feel uncomfortable, so that’s a good start. Maybe this whole idea isn’t so bad after all.
The date was set for tomorrow at 7pm. He offered to pick you up but you refused. Listen, you’re dumb enough to go on a date with a man you knew for less than two hours for some quick cash, but not dumb enough to send him your address. The date will be at a nearby restaurant, one of the fanciest restaurants in Washington DC. You even heard that some celebrities and governmental officials actually go there.
Truth be told, you’re starting to get excited, this is by far the nicest thing a man has ever done to you. Albeit, the voice at the back of your head keeps reminding you that he could be dangerous, a stalker, a criminal, or worse, likes banana flavored stuff. A man with this much money is either in a higher up position, or simply working with the wrong people. Now that you think about it, perhaps asking him what he does for a living would’ve been a wise choice. But you didn’t want to sound like you were going after his money! Well, you are but at the end of the day, you still have manners.
The next day eventually rolls around and you start getting ready. You pick the best dress you have that hugs your body perfectly. Wanted to go for something which screams classy and elegant yet still hot. Just because you’re in debt, doesn’t mean you need to look like it as well.
Your friend agrees to drops you off at the location, she knows you’re going on a date with some guy you met on a dating app. She was almost as excited as you were when you found out where this “gentleman” was treating you. Little does she know this said “gentleman” is twice your age… let’s just hope you’re not going out on a date with someone’s husband.
Walking into the restaurant, you shoot him a text informing him that you arrived. Your phone vibrates a couple seconds later with a text that says.
“Waiting for you on the table near the second window.”
You start making your way to the table, and when you eventually find it, you’re greeted by the hottest man you’ve ever seen in your entire life standing near the table. He smiles softly and compliments you, you brain still didn’t register what he said though, as you’re still in awe with how good he looks.
Light brown hair, stormy blue eyes, a slight stubble decorating his chin and crow’s feet forming on the corner of his eyes as he smiles. His body, is in such a good form. Broad shoulders and massive biceps making the white button up shirt that he’s wearing tight in some areas. The chest, oh the chest, surprised how he’s not wearing a bra with those pillows glued to his chest, enough milk supply to feed a whole village.
The hidden cameras better come out now cause you’re definitely getting set up. This man is paying you to go out with him, while you’d pay a kidney and sell your friend for him to even step near you. He definitely has the sugar and daddy part checked off. You spent all this time searching for a job with no success, and you bag him first try? Maybe you should consider switching domains.
The two of you sit down at your table. The view from the window next to you is breath taking, the sun is setting and as she does, the rays reflect on the glass windows of the building below you creating a masterpiece of orange and red hues. The breeze up here is so refreshing, as the faint sound of by-passing cars honk below you. Your eyes move back to the man in front of you.
“This place is nice.”
“Glad you like it sweetheart.”
You’re already fighting the urge to sit on his lap and all he did was call you a stupid pet name. If you were a dog, your tail would definitely be wagging right now. The waiter eventually walks over to your table and you both place your meals before he walks away leaving the two of you alone once more.
“Can I ask you a question?” you say and he raises an eyebrow in return followed by a polite smile.
“Sure, go ahead.”
“Why do you not have your name or your face on your profile?”
Understandable question, he’s hot as fuck and would have woman fighting over him on that app if he showed his face. He chuckles at your question, the kind of laugh that sounds like a yacht and a mansion in the Maldives.
“Well, my field of work requires me to keep a low profile, not that I’m complaining anyway. Plus I don’t think my face is really important in these kinds of dates anyways. I know that probably looked really suspicious but I can assure you, I’m not trying to kill you.” He says the last part as he raises his hands defensively.
You nod gently in return. While that did answer some of the questions you had, you were still intrigued to learn more about him. What field does he work in anyway? How can he afford all this? Curiosity was getting the best of you, and so you ask.
“What do you do for a living?”
He grins, and looks at you for a few moments before answering.
“Hmm I get it. Nothing illegal, so that pretty head of yours can stop worrying.” You’re honestly a bit embarrassed now, it’s a date not an interview. But you needed to make sure that you’re safe okay! Better safe than sorry.
He then starts asking questions about your interests, past, favorite movies, etc. And soon enough your food arrives, you continue chatting as you take some bites out of your dish. He’s genuinely interesting, and very attentive. You notice how he watches your expression, body language, and the tone of your voice. Throughout the conversation you learn a bit more about him as well, learned how he went to police academy, hated wearing ties, and thinks that reading books is boring. Last one is a bit problematic, but sure.
Time passes and maybe it’s your brain playing tricks on you, or maybe it’s the wine you keep on sipping, but he seems to get flirtier by the minute. You notice the way his eyes drop down to your lips shamelessly as you speak, and how they linger for a little too long on your chest. You’re not completely innocent however, you are guilty of tilting your head to the side every now and then, batting your pretty mascara covered lashes at him causing a smirk to rise on his face. You manage to get away with it a couple of times before he decides to comment about it.
“Need something sweetheart? I’d like to hear some of those thoughts of yours.”
“I think you’re hot.” That was bold, but he asked for it. Your words don’t even take him by surprise, he knew what you were thinking about, its written all over your face but he just needed you to say it out loud.
“Feelings mutual. How about we get out of here yeah?”
He orders the bill which he pays while leaving a generous tip. The two of you get up, head out the restaurant’s door, and walk over to his car. He opens the door for you in true gentleman fashion and gets in himself. The car smells clean, almost like its brand new. The inside is plain with not much decoration but pretty neat. The windows are tinted blocking out anyone from spying in. He twists the car keys and the engine roars to life and soon enough you start heading towards his place.
Sometime during the ride home, his hand rests on the inside of your thigh and starts slowly moving up to your center before stopping. You bite your lip as heat starts pooling between your legs. His hand then begins caressing your thigh, running his thumb up and down, so close yet so far from where you actually want him to be. The whole time his eyes are fixated on the road ahead of him, simply toying with you for his own fun. Things remain the same for a while before his hands snake up our dress even further, thumb making contact with your cunt. His strokes are lazy and weak, almost as if his fingers are ghosting over your bundle of nerves.  Your hips squirm at the sensation and you attempt to move your hips closer to his hand to get more friction. But as you do that moves his hand away from you and repositions itself back on your thigh causing you to whine in protest.
“Almost there baby, can you wait a few minutes more for me? Promise I will make it worth it.”
He looks over to you and you nod a little too enthusiastically. His lips upturn into a smile at your eagerness.
“Such a good girl.” He says, his knuckle brushing against your cheek.
The car then parks at an apartment building, the type that is 16 stories high and the oxygen alone, feels more high quality. He gets out of the car and opens the door for you, before taking your hand in his and making his way to the entrance. The sound of your heels clacking on the tile floor of the reception as you follow his lead to the double doored elevator. You both walk in and he presses the button to the last floor which is followed by the elevator doors closing.
As soon as the two of you are alone in the space, his hand grabs your wrist pinning you onto one of the walls as his other hand grabs your hip before crashing his lips onto yours. You kiss him back, your free hand touching the exposed part of his neck before going up into his hair. He groans at the sensation and grinds his hips into yours, feeling his hardened cock through his pants causing you back to arch. His tongues coax its way into your mouth and you reciprocate. Both of your lips disconnect for a moment as he decides to move to your neck next, sucking and biting on the open skin leaving red and purple marks to blossom in the places where his mouth once was. A soft whine escapes you at the feeling of his hot mouth on the sensitive skin of the crook of your neck.
The elevator dings announcing your arrival, which is followed by the door opening revealing the stupendous penthouse in front of you. The windows are ceiling high and have a wondrous view of the capital, the apartment is dimly lit with only a few lamps illuminating the black and gray living room furniture. The house that you see getting sold for millions of dollars.
“I’ll give you a tour later.”
He says as he picks you up and throws you over his shoulder, giving your now exposed behind a smack, and your legs kick in return. He makes his way up the stairs and into what you can only assume is his bedroom before tossing you down on your back and caging you in with his arms. Your hands reach out locking behind his neck pulling him into another kiss, as his hand reaches out for your breast, fondling it through the fabric of your dress.
The stickiness between your legs is starting to get uncomfortable as the sensations of pleasure start taking over you. His hips which are now situated between your legs start rutting against you and open your legs further in return. You feel a hand unzip your dress as you shift slightly allowing him to take the article of clothing off which is then followed by your bra. As soon as your top naked, he wastes no times latching his mouth to one of your stiff peaks, while the other hand flicks the other. He switches between sucking on your nipple and leaving some bite marks of the delicate flesh.
Moments later the removes his mouth with a resounding pop, and starts kissing his way down from the valley between your breasts till the waistband of your panties. He gets off of you for a moment to unbutton his shirt and unbuckle his belt removing it and tossing it somewhere behind him, his pants following a second later. Your eyes travel over his body, unsure where to look at first. Chiseled chest muscles with some trimmed chest hair, defined abs and an unremarkable V line leading to his covered crotch area with few scars scattered all over his body like stars.
“Staring is rude y’know. But you’re cute so I’ll let it pass.” He jokes and moves positioning himself between your legs, he gives your clothed cunt an open-mouthed kiss, his hot breath making you squirm at the feeling.
“Been wanting to taste you all night.”
His fingers grab the hem of your panties pulling them off, revealing your glistening core to him. You feel the familiar sensation of his thumb on your clit once again moving in firm circular motions as his eyes remain glued to your center. The same thumb then moves down to your entrance collecting some of your dripping arousal before going back to its original position.
“Damn baby, all of that for me?”
You nod, your eyes feeling heavy and brain fuzzy from his skilled fingers.
“What you get your clit rubbed a few times and now you can no longer speak? Use your words, I know you can.”
“Yeah, for you. All for you.”
“Atta girl”
He speaks before replacing his thumb with his mouth, your head falls back against the plush mattress as a moan escapes your lips. His hands grab your hips keeping them in place as he eats you like a man starved. He shifts between sucking on your bundle of nerves and dipping his tongue into your entrance, as the prickly feeling of his stubble somehow makes the whole experience much hotter.
Your completely fucked out at this point and he hasn’t even fucked you yet. This is probably the best head you’ve ever gotten in your life. Maybe going after older men was the right call after all. Your hand reaches out and grips his soft hair tugging on it, earning a groan from him which vibrates through you, only intensifying the feeling bubbling inside of you. The view in front of you is now practically burn in the back of your mind till the day you die. The knot in your stomach only seems to get tighter and tighter as his tongue laps over your cunt over and over again.
“Gonna cum.”
“On my face baby, show me how good it feels.”
He opts to focusing on sucking on your clit as two of his fingers penetrate you, and begin to move at the perfect pace and that was enough to send you over the edge. Stars explode behind your eyes as your whole-body shakes. The feeling of his tongue on you that was once causing you pleasure, has now turned into the uncomfortable feeling of overstimulation. You whimper and tug on his hair once again. His face detaches from your core, chin shiny and coated with your arousal as he sucks off the remaining fluid on his fingers and he moves back up removing his underwear. His dick springs free, tip red leaky with precum as he strokes it a few times. Dropping down to your level, he gives your lips a soft kiss while he teases your entrance with his dick for a few moments before he bullies it into you with ease thanks to how wet you’ve gotten. He sucks in a breath of air as your heat envelops him. The tip almost kisses the opening of your cervix as pain and pleasure start to become undifferentiable. You feel full, the fullest you’ve ever been.
“Fuck, tightest fucking pussy I’ve ever had”
Both of you are now face to face with each other, as he gives your furrowed brow a quick peck. His hips then start to move back before going in once more. He grabs your hip with both of his hands as he starts picking up the pace. The look on your face says it all, completely and utterly cock drunk. Eyes droopy, mouth drooling, and babbling pure none sense.
“You still with me sweetheart?” he chuckles as he continues his rocking motion.
“Feels good.”
“And what do you say?”
“Thank you Leon, thank you so much.”
In return, his pace quickens. The sounds of skin smacking and both of your moans fill the quiet room. You don’t know where that came from, never in your life you ever said something like this. This man puts his dick in you once and he’s already rearranging all of your brain chemistry… and your organs. You’re already starting to feel your orgasm creeping up on you once more as your moans only seem to get louder. The pace that Leon is fucking you in, in addition to the praises that are spilling out of his mouth in tandem force another orgasm out of you as you claw at his forearms in attempts to stay grounded.
The spasming sensation of your heat around him causes him to moan as his peak approaches. He pulls out of you, gives himself a few strokes before finishing all over your stomach and collapsing next to you. After his breathing regulates again, gets up, grabs a towel and cleans the mess he made before tucking you in and placing a kiss at the crown of your head.
“Leon” your voice softly calls out to him.
“Yeah?”
“Are all middle-aged men usually this pretty, or is it just you?”

THE STREETS OF PARIS , were lively enough that you could blend in seamlessly, everyone else dressed essentially to the nines in their finest attire, walking in and out of all the restaurants in the vicinity. you want to cower, wrap the shall around yourself tighter and hide away; you'd never felt more insecure and out of place in the entire month you'd been vacationing in france, until this very moment.
everyone around you exudes the amount of confidence that comes naturally to them that you wished you had, even if you felt genuinely good in the outfit Kika had practically forced you in when you'd briefly mentioned having nothing to wear to the event she'd asked you to tag along to. a part of you wants to remind yourself that you knew better than to expect things to play out differently, it wants to ridicule you for going back on your usual stance of always expecting disappointment to no longer feel disappointed.
you wave off a taxi that pulls beside you, you're already at your destination, and a fleeting wave of nausea makes you want to clench your gut, and hurl what little you'd eaten earlier throughout the day into the hedges beside you; you don't, thankfully. instead, you resort to the safety of your phone, back-and-forth bickering between your best friend and Kika to work up your nerves to get yourself inside the building.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you feel wobbly on your feet, something you will also plan to blame on Kika when you find the courage to get yourself to walk in through the door of the Laperouse, a considerably more elegant spot to eat at than you would have picked, you only dread the fear of looking over the menu and bearing witness to the prices of the food.
the ding of the bell above the door pulls your head out of your phone when you're met with the silhouette of quite possibly the most attractive man you'd ever had blessed your gaze — excluding that one time you'd run into lorenzo zurzolo on a girls trip to madrid and fumbled the whole ordeal so embarrassingly you had to block him on instagram to keep from ever seeing him.
his actions are almost more exaggerated in frustration than you'd plainly described to your friend, his hand is constantly dragging down his face when he pulls the phone away from his ear, promptly allowing you to hear the snippets of french being, basically, screamed through the phone at him. yikes. the phone call seems to drag on and the amount of time you've been staring at this man can be somewhat considered borderline stalking if he wasn't uninterested in the world outside the french screaming match on the phone.
deciding you'd done enough oogling to satiate for the brieft maladaptive day-dreaming you'll experience during mundane errands. with the very little courage you had, you wipe your hands on your dress, pitifully, and tuck your phone into the clutch before making your way inside. you're blissfully unaware of the way the man had turned towards the noise the heels of your shoes had made against the pavement, his attitude doing a complete 180 had him disregarding the remainder of the phone call before finally giving up, a defeated sigh follows the silence of the call being ended.
'i told you so. . .' your brain supplies when you feel even more out of place being inside said restaurant than how you were simply just standing outside of it, you felt both over and under-dressed watching the mass of patrons standing at the front bar along with the glimpses you could get inside the dining room from where you wait at the hostess stand.
"can i help you?" the hostess asks, words sleek with her french accent as she flicks her gaze up towards you before down at the booking book in front of her. you fiddle with your fingers, white-knuckling the black clutch, suddenly unable to find your own words. the woman rolls her eyes, and taps her perfectly manicured finger against the book and you visibly shake.
"elle est avec moi et la réservation Gasly" a voice speaks, standing behind you, close enough to be flush against you, but remaining a finger length away from you, refusing to lift your head, you don't dare look at who's just saved yourself from any more bouts of unwavering embarrassment for the night.
"profite de ta soirée" the hostess grins, it doesn't shine in her eyes and it's clearly a put-on customer service smile, forced to maintain a friendly atmosphere within the restaurant, you're allowing yourself to be lead through towards the private dining room, stepping away from the man, you mumble a simple thank you in your own butchered french pronunciation as you spot kika and find yourself attached to her hip for a majority of the night.

Tumblr media
now, see if you weren't the type of person to be so easily persuaded into joining in on the drink festivities, you wouldn't have ended up with kika as one of your closest friends. you were never one to turn down alcohol, especially open bar alcohol; which is perhaps why you'd found yourself in a state of being a social butterfly, you'd floated around the room, meals long since eaten and cleared by the wait staff left people standing around and conversing.
mixtures of english, french and portuguese filling the room, bits and pieces of conversations you were picking up, but with your minimal understanding of french you found yourself avoiding anything beyond "hi how are you?" and introducing yourself, aside from that you smile and nodded before politely excusing yourself to float around once more.
"are you purposely ignoring me?" there it is, the sound that would haunt your best dreams and your worst nightmares; the shiver that runs up your spine makes you inadvertently cringe at yourself, how were you this reactive to a voice, you're going to blame the entire thing on the amount of sparkling moscato you'd been drinking by the glass.
"hm? no, no i'm not ignoring you?" you mock his accent, turning around to finally make eye contact with him, lips pursed into a line to keep yourself from giggling, the bubbles in your stomach is either your own nerves, the bubbly alcoholic beverage you'd consumed or a mixture of both — either way you feel content enough to be less than self-aware of the situation.
you can almost see the way he visibly lights up at the interaction, the way can't hold himself back from laughing at your attempt to mock his accent, the way his eyes crinkle and the laughter that follows the expression leaves you virtually speechless, you'd never been in a situation where someone, especially not a man. had ever laughed at you in a way that didn't feel the least bit mocking towards you; his laughter subsides and you feel yourself mourning the noise, head tilting to the side before he's taking a sip from his own glass.
"how do you know pierre?"
"through kika, she's the sole reason i'm here" you explain, gesturing with your hands as you talk, the conversation carries on throughout most of the night, new drinks replacing old ones all whilst the distance between the two of you closing inch by inch and shamelessly, perhaps even a little selfishly you allow it.
you allow more than just close proximity, you allow his knee to knock against your own, the hand to graze your waist as his arm moves around you to put his empty drink on the bar. you allow yourself to meet his gaze, hold it and find yourself lower and lower your own inhibitions. the good, the bad and the ugly of a man who hasn't asked for your name and whose name you hadn't bothered to ask for either.
perhaps, it's the events of the night that led you to here, in this heat of the moment pursuit of pure guiltless drunk happiness, lips against the nap of your neck in the back of a taxi, a hand dragging dangerously up your thigh, closer and closer to a spot you hadn't known longed to be touched until now. you're mutual shouts of laughter are shared through the streets of paris, leading into the hotel room you'd been staying in for the week, you're set to check out the next morning, but realistically, what's one night of parisian fun to end your trip with a bang, literally.
"soleil, fuck, the things you are doing to me right now" his voice comes out like a growl against your ear, his teeth dragging along your ear lobe and further down your neck, never biting, just allowing the feeling to pull the breathless noises out of you. your hand finds its way to nestle into his hair, grip tight and pull him away, the way he looks at you, a gaze you're all far too familiar with, lust.
god, had you wished you knew life wouldn't feel so horribly if you'd felt like this the entire time, the way the man finds himself home between your thighs, even as they clench around his head as soon as his tongue flicks against your abused and overly sensitive clit, fingers working their way in and out of your as you're pushed to complete your third orgasm — your hands griping the pillow behind your head, back arching as you moan out breathlessly, the needy coil in your stomach untangling once more as he pulls the orgasm out of you; your left breathless and shaking as your ride out the orgasm on his fingers.
his face is glistening with your juices; god if you were brave enough to take a picture you would have, he looked effortlessly pretty as he wiped his face with the back of his hand and finally pulled his fingers out of you to lick them clean.
you were royally screwed. even after you woke up in the morning, he was still asleep, but check-out was soon and there really wasn't any need to actively remain in the hotel room bed any longer, even if the man sleeping beside you was dreamy, even asleep, you knew alcohol-influenced one night stands were less than impressive to boast about the next morning. so you do the easiest thing to bypass awkward morning conversations, you leave a note with your number and leave.

Pleasure to meet you! Cannibal Overlord! Reader x Alastor [cannibal chef! Reader Spin-Off]
Cannibal chef! reader m.list | Author profile
a/n: tadaaaaa~ new banners. unwindingggg ive been using too many formal words frying my brain
Tumblr media
"Hello?" Vaggie answers the telephone drily causing the others look at her.
"Who'sat?" Angels slurs.
"It's for you," she passes the phone to Alastor.
"Hello!"
"Alastor! Darling! Where are you?!"
"Madam! I'm currently at the Hazbin Hotel. I've been meaning to call you for a while but was unable to--"
"OH ALASTOR, SWEETHEART! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH! YOU LEFT WITHOUT A TRACE I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD," you screamed hugging him and peppering his face with kisses.
The others looked at your flabbergasted. One, how did you get here so fast. Two, you knew Alastor? and Three, WHY THE HELL WHERE YOU KISSING THE SHIT OUTTA HIM?!
"Well, we are dead, madam," he answers without much resistance towards your affectionate behavior. I think he went on for 7 years too long without them.
You pinch his cheek for his smart retort and finally set your eyes on the princess and apologize, "I'm sorry for the sudden visit but when I heard my Alastor here finally came back. I couldn't help but rush to meet him. I'm (Y/n) by the way, pleasure to meet you!"
All of them (aside for Angel) looked at you like you were some sort of mythical being making you tilt your head. "Why? Is there something on my face? Do I have something stuck between my teeth?" you ask then asking Alastor beside you.
"Nothing at all. I think they're more concerned of the fact that you're here, Madam," he replies not even bothering to wipe your lipstick marks on his face.
"You're the Cannibal Chef Overlord! I- uh- it's nice to meet you in person!" Charlie greets recovering from her shock.
"Oh, the pleasure is all mine! Meeting the princess and all is no simple occasion! Alastor, be a dear and call the restaurant to prepare something for us and let them bring it here. We should celebrate!" you announce joyously.
"As you wish," he replies before snapping his fingers and a few moments later the doorbell rang.
NIffty opened it, only to be shoved to the side as your staff to prepare the wares and food in the middle of the room.
"Now, tell me. How are you? Where you've been? I expect a full report on your situation. You disappeared without a word. I though you were running away from me," you ask mood getting dangerous with the glint in your eyes.
"Of course not! Just caught up with some matter is all," he explains.
You gave him a toothy smile and answered, "Good. Everyone! Please dig in! I didn't know your preference so please help yourselves to anything!"

Head on your palm, heavy eyes slowly closing with every dreary words that your biology teacher says, you fight a yawn from escaping since the last time someone yawned in front of Mrs. Weathers they got kicked out of class. But with the boring subject about symbiotic relationships in the wild, that you most definitely already know since you did the advanced reading, you're tempted to yawn loudly and widely just so you could escape from this biology hell.
The air is crisp, October air breezing through you from the open window to your left. Clad in your cardigan and yellow corduroy pants, the cold still seeps into the thick fabrics. It's a comfortable cold but with you sitting still for more than an hour without stretching your limbs has you freezing in your seat.
You risk getting called out by Mrs. Weathers if she notices you looking out of the window for even a second. But you are so bored out of your mind that you'd rather stare at the oak tree outside than continue to listen to her yapping about symbiosis. Having the brilliant idea to hide your wandering eyes from the teacher with your hand slightly covering your profile, now safe from her piercing gaze, you watch as the orange leaves dance with the breeze.
There's a pile of dead leaves at the bottom of its trunk, and you wish you could jump inside and never have to study biology ever again. It must be so warm and cozy inside, with the orange and yellow leaves as your sky and walls, you'll live like a tiny mouse queen ruling over your land. You think of all the stuff you'll bring inside your little leaf kingdom, your sketchbook is definitely a yes, and also your big pack of colorful markers and pencils is an absolute need. You'll need some snacks of course, some eggos and cheese balls would suffice. As for sleeping, you guess you'll never need to sleep when you have so much time to do anything you want in your leaf kingdom.
Yet, you think you'll be lonely inside. Sure you can bring your gameboy or your care bears, but they can't exactly talk and have the most riveting banter with you. With a smile, you plan to bring your best friend with you to your autumn kingdom. Hobie can be your bard or your right hand man. It's perfect, you think, a perfect place where it's just you and Hobie where there's no more school to attend, no more grades to keep up, just you and him having fun in the pile of leaves.
With a sigh, you blink slowly as your eyes get heavier and heavier with every daydream. Fighting the sandman from having his sandy grip on you, you pinch your cheek subtly. Opening your eyes, a familiar silhouette appears right next to the oak tree. Long arms waving in your direction, legs jumping to get your attention. Blinking rapidly, it's none other than Hobie who has the widest grin on his face when he notices that he finally has your attention.
He motions for you to go outside, beckoning you over dramatically. Miming that he'll cry if you don't go outside. You think otherwise, quietly giggling at his antics.
After the realization, you straighten in your seat, wondering why and how he got outside when he's supposed to be in maths.
A loud thwack slams against your desk, jumping awake, Mrs. Weathers shakes her head, tongue clicking in agitation.
“If you're not prepared to listen in class it's best that you should leave, miss L/N.” She says, gritting her fake teeth.
“Okay,” you stand up to collect your things, shoving your notebook and books inside your already full backpack. Your reply has Mrs. Weathers confused, since you are her best student.
“Wait—” you've never seen her flabbergasted, your classmates snicker silently in their seats, some even clap and cheer you on.
Giving them all a shrug, you exit the classroom before she grabs you back inside. With the door shutting close, you sprint towards the exit. Trainers squeaking on the linoleum, backpack heavy, you push the double doors open with your shoulder. Hobie greets you outside just as the fresh air whips at your cheeks.
He claps slowly but surely, face proud with a smug smile. “I've got to hand it to you, Pingu, I did not expect that. I have successfully made a rebel out of you.”
Hobie stands on the grass like he owns the entire school, hands tucked inside his jeans, thumbs tapping on his metal belts that clinks against each other when he moves. For once, he's dressed for the weather, the old worn leather jacket now fits him better than last year, it was bigger on his shoulders back then. Puberty works in mysterious ways, you think. A denim vest lays on top of the leather, handmade pins of his favourite things are all tacked securely on the denim. Its edges are frayed, but you know it was intentional since you're the one who helped him do it. The thrifted ‘Queen’ shirt you gave him on his birthday is the perfect size, but you know that he'll only be able to wear it for a couple of years at the rate he's growing.
No one would think you two are best friends judging by how different your styles are, or how different you are to him. Personality wise, likes, dislikes, it's all different, sometimes you wonder how you two get along. But you wouldn't have it any other way.
“How'd you get out of maths?”
“Climbed out of the window before Mr. Keery came in.”
You doubt his story. “Yeah, right, your classroom is on the third floor, Hobie.”
He feigns hurt, “my own best mate doubts my abilities?” You roll your eyes, but the heat in your cheeks says otherwise. “‘m great at climbing, I could climb down from that height.” You stay silent, looking at him with a raised brow and unblinking eyes. “...fine, I faked sleepin' by snorin’ loudly, happy?”
You touch his shoulder with a mischievous smile. “Hobie, you don't have to fake snore because you snore like an elephant giving birth.”
“You're very funny,” he takes your wrist to push your hands away. You now notice the new nail polish on his nails. “That doesn't even make bloody sense.”
You ignore him, mouth agape and shocked at his painted nails. “You finally coloured your nails?” You take his hand that has nail polish sloppily painted on. The paint even reaches to the edge of his nails, painting his skin with shadowy black. “You could've asked me for help, y’know.”
“It's part of the style” He shrugs, taking his hand away before you can feel his pulse pick up.
“Sure, even the bubbles are in style.” You tease with a playful smile. “So why'd you call me over here?”
“Got bored, then thought you're also bored so I went to your window so we could skip the rest of the day.” He purposely skips the part that he knows exactly where you always sit.
You gasp. “Wait, I thought we were just skipping class, not skipping the rest of the day!” Hands on your hips, you shake your head. “And here I thought there's like a really cool… stick or something.”
“A stick?” He chortles.
“Yeah, like the one you found a few days ago that actually looked like a sword.”
“Nah, I wanted to—” A high pitched whistle echoes out, startling you both. Finding the source of the sound, the school guard is currently running towards you. The hundreds of keys on his belt jingles, cheeks red from all the whistle blowing.
“Oi!” The yells, pointing accusingly at you two.
With wide eyes, Hobie takes your hand before sprinting away. He practically drags you along with him, bigger strides than you, he looks over his shoulder to check on you. Unsurprisingly enough, he has a huge grin on his lips, as if he planned all of it.
You follow his lead, dead leaves crunching under your shoes, backpack weighing you down. Yet, he doesn't leave you even though you're slowing him down. You appreciate him for not letting your hand go, but you don't like how your heart hammers against your chest when you look at your intertwined hands.
Finally reaching the metal fence, Hobie chucks his backpack over it. It's not that tall for him, he could easily jump over it with no problem, but with you still waiting on your growth spurt, it'll be a challenge for you. He knows it too, without asking he grabs your bag off your shoulders, he then quickly throws it over the other side before crouching down with his hands on top of the other.
“C’mon, Pingu, up you go!” Hobie flicks his eyes over to the guard, he's glad that the guard isn't exactly a track star. The whistling gets louder as the uniformed man gets closer. “Hurry—!”
Before he could finish saying the word, you shakily put your foot on his palm. With one strong push, and a jump from you, Hobie hoists you over the fence. You miraculously make it over, landing on your side with a groan. Hobie follows a second later, climbing like his life depended on it. Immediately grabbing each of your backpacks, then putting both on one arm, he lifts you up from the pavement with one hand just before the guard could even reach the fence; you two race off across the street, huffing and aching from the daring escape.
Going around a corner, Hobie leads you towards an alley. He skids off to a stop, heavy bags falling off his arms.
Hands on your knees, lungs burning, and face sweaty from the run, you check behind the corner if the guard is still after you.
“He won't follow us anymore. We're out!” Hobie exclaims, exhilarated, and grinning widely. He leans on the wall opposite of you, chest heaving, laughter echoing around the empty alleyway.
Copying his stance, cracking a smile, you laugh together with him. “You're a bad influence, Hobie Brown.”
“And you're a great influence, Y/N L/N.” His smile and his shining eyes says it all: we balance each other out. “Too bloody nice, that's what you are.”
You shake your head, chin resting on your clavicle to hide your lopsided smile. Heat on your cheeks, you seem to find yourself having the same expression lately whenever you're around him.
“Where to?” He asks once he caught his breath.
“My choice?” You ask, smile permanently etched on your lips.
“‘course,” Hobie says it like it's the most obvious thing. He was supposed to add to his sentence but he shuts his mouth before he could let the word escape.
You excitedly perk up. “The mall?”
He makes a face. “I'd rather stay in maths.”
“Arcade then?”
“They'd kick us out,” you knit your eyebrows in question. “Because we're skippin’ class, they put up that fuckin' sign a few weeks ago.”
“Oh right, I forgot. How about the record shop? Mike's cool, he might let us stay until classes are over.”
Hobie pushes himself off the wall, strutting over to you, your heart quickens for some reason. He pats shoulder with a smirk. “Your best idea yet,” taking both bags off the grimey floor, he puts them both on each shoulder. It's your turn to smirk at him. “What?”
“Nothing,” you say in a sing-song tone.
He clicks his tongue, avoiding your eyes. “C’mon then, before someone sees us here and thinks we're skippin' class.”
“Hobie, we are skipping class.”
“Not if we act like we're not.”
“...what?” You chuckle, blinking in confusion. “What would you do?”
“Nothin’, let's go.” He walks away from you.
“Oh come on, what will you do? Will you put on your best acting skills like how you faked being sick in front of the nurse? Because she was definitely convinced that you had chicken pox!” You giggle, following him, matching his longer strides.
“It worked, didn't it?” Hobie turns his head away from your playful glance.
“Yeah, because you had an actual fever. But sure, your drawn on chicken pox was very convincing.”
“I'm an artiste, Y/N.” He says, trying to do a french accent.
You snort, “sure, and I'm the queen of England.”
“Alright, your majesty.” He stops, “carry your own luggage,” your bag thuds on the pavement. “I don't want to help some parasite.” Smugly walking away, you feign hurt with your loud gasp.
“You…you doodoo head!” You yank your bag, wearing it properly on your back. Running after Hobie, he has a mischievous smile, one you're all too familiar with.
“Doodoo head? That the best you can come up with?” He says before bolting off, leaving you in the dust.
“Hey!” Running, you follow him with a laugh. “Asshole!”
Finally reaching the vinyl shop, the bells jingle as you two enter. The smell of plastic and cheap air freshener lingers in the air, the ancient shaggy carpet is soft under your trainers. Shelves upon shelves of records greet you as you roam your eyes around the different album covers. It's a slow day so the store is empty except for Mike the cashier who has headphones on.
Hobie sniffs dramatically, “home sweet home!”
Mike cracks an eye open, with a groan after seeing you and Hobie standing by the door, he chucks his headphones on the counter, looking disgruntled. The denim jacket with hundreds of patches and bottle cap pins is large on his lanky frame.
“Oh great, Hobie's here.” He says sarcastically, long straight hair flipped over his shoulder with one move from his head. “And he brought his little girlfriend. Hi, Y/N, you still hang out with this arse?” He points at Hobie who doesn't bother correcting him anymore. “Seriously, I thought you were smarter than that.”
“D’you finally have it, mate?” Hobie acts like he's the same age as Mike, even though the teenage cashier could be his older brother. Ignoring Mike's jab, he waits for his reply.
Wanting to quit his job is clearly seen on his face. Then he considers the fact that he needs to save for college. With a sigh, he points towards the end of the store, where you think ‘it’ is there.
Hobie punches the table with a thump, then he excitedly bounds over to where the cashier pointed. “Thanks, bruv.”
“Cyndi Lauper?” You ask, all wide eyed and shy. “It's not at the front anymore.”
“Over to the right, just across where your boyfriend is.”
“He's not my—nevermind, thanks.” Walking past all the display, Hobie guffaws when he finds what he was looking for. You smile at how happy he is.
He's so happy that he grabs you by your elbow, pointing at the new ‘Ramones’ album. The words “Ramones Mania” are printed in bright red.
“Finally! Look!”
“I see it, Hobs.” You chuckle, “didn't this release months ago though?”
“It did,” he sighs like he's recalling a bad memory. “But this place isn't making a lot of money from records like this, so Mike here!” He yells the last part to annoy the man. “Delayed ordering it. I had to come ‘ere every day just to remind him.”
You see Mike pressing the volume up on his walkman. Making sure that Hobie sees that he's not listening to him.
“You didn't tell me that.” You say, sounding a bit too hurt.
“Thought you wouldn't care.” Hobie shrugs, “‘sides, you don't listen to stuff like this.” He points at the album.
“I could listen to it, Hobs. I make you listen to my records and you seem to like it.”
Hobie's eyes soften. “You wanna listen to it together then? You might not like it.”
“Yeah,” you nod. “If I don't end up liking it then at least I gave it a try, right? If I do like it we have something new to talk about.”
He could only manage a smile and a curt nod. Taking the record to the listening booth that sits at the corner of the store, he leaves his bag outside whilst he opens the door for you. Placing your bag down more gently than he did, you enter the cramped booth.
Mike yells after you two, “you lot better not snog in there!” You and Hobie scrunch your faces at the man.
“We're fourteen, mate!” Hobie yells back, not agitated, just weirded out by Mike's comment.
“You're fourteen? How would I know? You look fuckin' sixteen, bruv! Tall motherfucker.” He whispers the last part, Hobie didn't hear it but you surely did.
“I thought he was cool.” You admit, shutting the booth door behind you.
“He's a wanker, just actin’ like he is. Thought you fancy him?”
“Ew.” He beams at your reaction.
You giggle, the sound bouncing off the padded walls of the booth. It's just a regular rectangular box with a shelf for the record player and a bench to sit on. It's quieter inside, the cars outside are muffled, the only clear thing you can hear is how your heartbeat gets faster and faster the longer you stay squished inside the booth with him. Sitting down, you leave enough space for him. Hands on top of the other, you roam your eyes around the cracking paint on the walls, mind making shapes from how the navy blue paint crumbles.
Hobie carefully takes the record out then places it on the record player. Sitting next to you, you can practically feel his excitement reverberating. He takes the headphones from its rack, turning each around so you and him could listen at the same time.
“Ready to shit your trousers?” He asks, eyes glinting from the single light bulb. He's so close to you that you can see yourself in the reflection in his eyes. And you can see every single strand of eyelashes that's perfectly blending in with his eyeliner.
“I don't want to poop on my trousers, I like this pair.” You joke, and you pat yourself on the back for making him laugh. “This is corduroy, Hobie.”
“Alright quiet time now.” He presses play as you hide your amused smile.
You bask in the sunset, eyes closed, you let the autumn air kiss your cheeks, your hands are behind you, propping you up. Despite the dusty pavement, and the looming problem of getting found out that you skipped school, you're perfectly content where you are right now. It would be perfect but you're missing something, or someone for that matter.
Cold air suddenly blows right behind you, the convenience doors close with a hiss and that's your cue to look up. Hobie appears upside down in your vision just like you thought, he tilts his head, you can see the cogs in his head turn. Placing the cup on your forehead, he laughs at your crossed eyes. Condensation rolls off from the plastic cup and into your skin.
Hobie takes it away before you could catch a cold. Sitting next to you, he hands you your bright slurpee. There's a mix of colours, red and blue melting into the orange and purple.
“They didn't have the brown one.” He says as he rips open a pack of Doritos. “There's no puddin’ pops either.”
“Aw,” you say slightly disappointed, but the sight of the box of nerds inside the plastic bag helps remedy your disappointment. “Ooh nerds!”
“Where?” As he says it, you see a grin slowly spreading on his face. “I only see one right here!” Chortling, grin wide, the orange hues of the sky paints him with its watercolour glow. You'd take this sight more than a day alone at the arcade.
“Ha ha.” You say flatly, sipping your drink too quickly, you wince loudly. Hobie guffaws into the barren space, save for the 711 behind you and the woods sitting quietly in front of you. His laugh echoes, even with his amusement, he still has the time to pat your back affectionately.
“Ow.” You rub your temple.
“What’d I tell you before? Drink it slowly, love.” The title slips out of his tongue. The second he realizes it, he hides behind his own cup, sipping wordlessly as he stares off into the woods.
Love, the simple freudian slip has you blinking at him slowly. He has never called you that before, he has, however, called you a bunch of nicknames that are either sweet or to purposely annoy you. But love? You've only heard older teenagers call each other that, and they usually have their hand inside their girlfriend’s or boyfriend’s back pockets when they do. You have no idea if Hobie has mistaken, because you're clearly not love, you're pingu, you're cheese, you're pebbles, hell, you're even lad, or his best mate. Never love, because that's reserved for someone you actually like, someone you truly care for.
Is he mistaken? Mimicking something he has heard around school?
“I should've told you about the album.” His voice wakes you to the present.
Do you care for him? Of course you do.
“What?” You breathlessly ask.
He's your best mate after Danny left, he was the only one who filled that lonely lonely gap he left. You think he's stuck with you forever, and he thinks you're stuck with him forever. Strangely enough, you both think it's perfect.
“Me pestering the shit out of Mike.” You knit your eyebrows at his words. He looks down at his boots, a small puddle at his feet reflects his own confused face. Is he apologizing? Why is he apologizing for? Weirdly enough, you both ask the same question.
You'd annoy Mike for him. You'd call the shop endlessly just so they would order his record. Even if you get in trouble for the telephone bill.
“You would've helped.” Hobie continues, eyes now looking into your own.
Care, it's a simple word, but you think it's not enough to describe how you feel about him, how you really feel about your best friend. It's much more than that.
“Yeah, I would've annoyed him too.” You softly smile at him.
“I know, love.” Because he knows you, and you know him too. Hobie utters the title more confidently, the word rolling off his tongue like butter. He makes it sound like he has been calling you that in his head for a long time. Maybe he has. “I know you would.”
He had the answer the whole time, it's not just you caring for him. It's love, it's love in its earliest state, it's love at its most innocent.
You love him, that revelation scares you, but it's better not knowing how you truly feel whenever he smiles at you and your heart skips a beat. Now you know, you'll tell him one day, one day when that feeling gnaws at your chest. But for now, you'll settle with drinking slurpees with him, you'll settle for skipping class so you could listen to records with him. For now you'll settle with loving him as his best mate, and for now, you're content just by being at his side.

when rafe picked up kook!reader for midsummers (midsummers part two)
Reader took a deep breath and looked at the clock again.
6:56
Rafe was going to be here soon to whisk her away to what he had deemed his “Best Midsummer Date Celebration Extravaganza”. He had been hyping himself up for the past week, bragging about how much he had spent on his tux, the dance lesson Rose had convinced (more like forced) him to take, and all of the time he spent cleaning his best dress shoes. She laughed to herself, picturing Rafe practicing his waltz steps in his sparkly shoes.
As she made her way downstairs she checked her phone to see if Rafe had texted. She hadn’t seen him at all the past two days, which was unusual for the pair. They had planned on meeting up but Rafe called her at the last minute saying he must’ve gotten food poisoning from the night before and couldn’t stop throwing up. Despite ordering the same thing as him (as she had for years), Reader felt perfectly fine. She didn’t bother to question it because, as often as Rafe got drunk and partied, he was never one to actually get sick. Luckily, by yesterday evening, he had texted her saying he was still on for Midsummers.
The doorbell rang as Reader quickly went to answer the door. She had assumed it was one of the neighbors, as Rafe was a lot of things but early was never one of them. However, to her surprise, she opened the front door to the powder blue suit and flushed face of Rafe Cameron. They both locked eyes for a second before looking down at the other's outfit and meeting eyes again.
“Holy shit.” Rafe said, dropping his arm that held a gorgeous bouquet of flowers to his side. Reader felt her cheeks warm as she let out a bashful giggle. She had seen Rafe in a suit a million times, and he looked great every time. This time was different. This time he was picking her up and taking her out on a date. Not “as a date”, but “on a date”.
“You don’t look too bad yourself, Cameron.” Reader laughed as Rafe’s eyes continued to look over her dress. Rafe was never shy about his affections, but something about seeing him speechless at the sight of her felt even better than any compliment he could give.
“The um— the blue looks very good…” Rafe stammered. “You look very good.”
“Thank you.” Reader said quietly, still feeling a bit overwhelmed by his reaction. Rafe blinked quickly before pulling the flowers back to his chest.
“Here,” Rafe handed the beautiful bouquet to Reader. “I got them from that shop downtown you like… Wheezy helped me pick them out.”
Reader smiled at the thought of Wheezy directing the tall boy through the flower shop, throwing bunches of flowers into his arms. She had done a great job though; lavender and baby's breath spun with beautiful, soft-hued blue lilies all wrapped together with a dainty baby-blue ribbon.
“Well you did a great job. Or Wheezy did at least.” Reader teased, turning to put the flowers into one of the empty vases that sat near the entryway.
“I told you I’d give you the best night of your life.” Rafe said with a shrug before offering out his arm to her.
“Well it’s off to a great start.” Reader grinned, hooking her arm into his. She looked over at Rafe’s silhouette against the setting sun, soaking in this moment and his sharp features as he led her to his car. Once they got to the passenger side, Rafe opened the door and guided her into her seat. She grinned as he closed the door gently before rushing around to the driver's side.
As she soothed her dress down she caught a glimpse of something on the dash: a white, powdery residue. Her heart dropped. Rafe had come to the door flushed, was he using again? She had sworn she hadn’t seen him high since he asked her to Midsummers… or had she? Maybe he was just getting better at hiding it. It wouldn’t be the first time she had caught him when he said he was clean…
“You ready to go, m’lady?” Rafe grinned, putting the keys into the ignition. Reader however, did not match his excitement.
“Rafe.” Reader said calmly, nearly a whisper.
“What? Are you okay? Did I forget something I can—”
“Are you high right now?” Reader said sharply.
“What?” Rafe scoffed.
“I said, are you fucking high right now?” Reader repeated firmly, turning towards Rafe. He scowled, putting the car into reverse.
“Jesus, I’m not fucking high right now. I would never drive high with you in the car, a’ight?” Rafe shook his head as they left the driveway and started towards the country club.
“Then what’s this shit on the dash, Rafe?” Reader said, trying her best to not allow the tears in her eyes to fall. She knew he was an addict but he had promised her tonight. Promised. Promises were so sacred between them, how could he?
“It’s—” Rafe sighed. “Alright fine, it’s coke. But it’s not mine. It’s Top’s. From this morning. I swear.”
“Do you seriously expect me to—” Reader scoffed.
“Yes! I expect you to believe me because I’ve been fucking clean for an entire week for you!” Rafe shouted. An entire week? For her? Sure.
“I would rather you just tell me if you’re fucking high. You know I hate it when you lie to me.” Reader said sharply. Rafe slammed on the breaks before pulling off to the side quickly.
“I’m not lying.” Rafe whispered, his hands still clenched on the wheel despite his soft tone. “I told you— I promised you— tonight and I’m going to fucking deliver. Ok? I’m not gonna fuck this up for you. I… I couldn’t forgive myself if I did.”
Reader sat there in silence, looking over at Rafe. His blue eyes looked at her sincerely, no sign of any dilated pupils or hazy glare despite what the powder covered surface might imply. He was right, he had promised her, and by the look on his face, she could tell he was struggling.
It all started to fall into line: his sluggishness the past week, his flushed appearance, and his “food poisoning”. He was in withdrawal.
“It wasn’t food poisoning you had, was it?” Reader said with an exhale.
“No. It wasn’t.” Rafe said quietly. Reader reached across the center console to take one of Rafe’s hands into her own. He could feel himself relax under her touch.
“I… I’m sorry, Rafe. I should’ve seen how hard you were trying, I was just being ungrateful and thought this was too perfect and—” Reader rambled, shaking her head.
“No, no, no.” Rafe said, reaching his hands up to cup the sides of Reader’s face, looking directly into her eyes with his own.
“You were right to… doubt me. It wouldn’t be the first time I lied about being clean.” Rafe whispered, running his fingers along her skin slowly as he spoke. In that moment, in his touch, she could feel the Rafe she remembered as a young boy. The Rafe who treated her like she was the best thing in the whole entire world. The Rafe who made her laugh more than he made her cry. The Rafe she had fallen in love with.
“Thank you, Rafe.” Reader said, taking his hands back from her face and holding them gently in her lap.
“You know I would try anything for you.” Rafe said, giving her hands a light squeeze. She could feel her heart swell at his words. He was right. He wasn’t perfect, but he would try to be. For her.
“Well…” Rafe broke the silence, placing one of his hands back onto the steering wheel, keeping the other grasped onto hers. “We should probably get going. We’re already about twenty minutes late.”
“Rafe Cameron! I knew you being early was too good to be true!” Reader teased, causing Rafe to flash her one of his signature grins before peeling back onto the road to the country club.

‘twas the night before november, and in forgotten neighborhoods, children roamed in search of candy while ghouls lurked to scare the unsuspecting. amidst the revelry, one house stood adorned from roof to lawn, eagerly awaiting its terrifying guests. but before the night could unfold, a soul-wrenching scream echoed through its halls.
“y/n! where's my face paint?!” a voice called frantically from the room upstairs, footsteps echoing through the wooden floor.
you were busy putting the finishing touches on the first floor, transforming the cozy atmosphere into a halloween haven. spiderwebs hung from every corner, balloons floated ominously, and eerie lights flickered, casting shadows that danced across the walls.
it was a common occurrence that every year, you’d throw a halloween party, and people liked your style so much, that they’d invite students from other schools. to be honest, you probably expected like 100 people or more tonight, having out some restrictions. no friends of a friend allowed. the chaos had to be slightly manageable compared to last year, where jungwon made the huge mistake of inviting everyone and their mothers.
“y/n!” niki called from the staircase, leaning over the railing. you turned to him, raising an eyebrow, which made his eyes widen in response. “my face paint?” he exclaimed.
“it’s probably in konon’s room, don’t trash it,” you started, and saw him instantly vanish back to searching for it. your sister had gone out to a friend’s house, since she couldn’t deal with all the noise of your annual celebration, but for some reason, niki loves being around every year for this.
he had this thing of following you around in school since primary school and becoming friends with your friends, that’s how he ended up meeting everyone. they instantly took a liking to him, commenting on how you two siblings complimented each other’s personalities. he was the impatient fake nonchalant while you were more controlling, a social butterfly.
speaking of your friends, they were supposed to help you organize the food and drinks. just as you thought of them, the doorbell rang, as if someone had been reading your mind.
“i got it!” you exclaimed for no reason at all, since niki barely ever did the favor of opening the house door for anyone, even when inviting his own friends over.
you tiptoed carefully through the decorations and balloons, trying not to pop any, as you made your way to the white front door. through the tinted glass, you could already make out the silhouette of someone waiting outside.
swinging the door open, you were met with something you didn’t expect.
“excuse me,” you blinked, your gaze scanning the person’s costume. he wore comically round glasses, a long purple nightgown, and a whimsical sleeping hat that made you confused at his entire attire.
“jake, what- you are not stepping inside my house looking like that,” you said, pressing your lips together to suppress a laugh. for some reason, jake always showed up in the most ridiculous costumes, and this year was no exception, he truly outdid himself.
“why not?” he pouted, looking down at his costume. “i’m the granny from little red riding hood! it’s a cool costume,” he insisted, crossing his arms defiantly.
“show yourself out of my house because there’s no way i’m letting you show up like that in front of people,” you laughed, though you couldn’t help but let him in. he skipped inside, navigating his long nightgown with a bit of trouble, his grin widening as he entered.
“so, where’s my bro niki?” jake spoke, leaving his backback by a couch, and starting to unpack some alcoholic drinks for the night, being careful not to break any bottles.
you made your way over to him, sitting down on the armchair, “your ‘bro’ is currently upstairs, not ready like always, and probably trashing konon’s room,” you rolled your eyes, looking around the place proudly.
as if on cue, niki descended the stairs in his finished halloween costume, a red torn up leather jacket and pants, face painted boldly green. “no, i was not,” he refuted, shooting jake an incredulous look.
you and jake exchanged glances as niki tilted his head in confusion. the two of them stared at each other for a moment, both trying to decipher the other's costume.
“what are you supposed to be?” jake asked your brother, who was almost shocked at the question. “i am michael jackson, in the thriller music video, when he turned into a zombie,” niki pointed to his zombie-painted face, “i can see you took inspo from our grandma right?” he snickered.
jake threw you a look, as if to say, “did you hear what this kid just told me?” you shrugged it off, grabbing the bottles he left on the couch and making your way to the table to organize them. as you set everything up, you could hear niki and jake bantering about their costumes, trying to decide which one was more original.
but their small fight ended shortly, their words replaced by insults towards enemy characters on a big screen, as they ended up in the place where they always did every hang out. at the tv room playing videogames.
as you sorted the drinks, the doorbell rang again. youu glanced at jake and niki, who seemed way to immersed by the screen, before you made your way to the door.
you opened it, and standing there was a figure dressed in a sharp, elegant costume, complete with a cape and a striking white mask covering only half of his face, his silhouette was unmistakable.
“park sunghoon, where in the world did you even get this costume?” you raised your brows, letting him inside, as he carried all his belongings too, buckets in the shape of pumpkins, full of candy.
“that’s for me to know,” he turned to you, as you closed the door, “how are you, and why are you not dressed up yet?” he furrowed his brows, looking down at your clothes.
“once you all get here i will go upstairs to get ready,” you took the liberty of taking the stuff from him, to place it on the table, while he followed.
“did anyone else already arrive?” sunghoon asked, taking his mask off, to reveal his porcelain shiny skin.
“uh, just jake, he’s with niki at the tv room playing videogames- i don’t even know, i still need to do a lot of things here…” you sighed, crossing your arms, “you can go with them if you want, i’ll stay here.”
“no,” sunghoon shook his head, “i’ll help you, just tell me what i need to do,” he said.
you looked at him, before your eyes fixed on the glass panel that led to the backyard, “there’s some big decorations outside i need to fix preferably before the next hour, just in case someone gets here early.” which would most probably be the case, since you got excited dms and calls from people in the morning.
“okay, i’ll take care of it,” he smiled down at you. before you could respond, the doorbell rang again, causing you to slump in exasperation. “you better get that,” sunghoon said, gently turning you around and nudging you toward the door as he headed off in the opposite direction.
you swung the door to find a trio of costumes that instantly caught your eye. one of them stood confidently in a sleek, tailored suit, complete with a sharp tie and slicked-back hair, exuding an air of sophistication and charm, as fake blood coated his face and translucent rain coat.
next to him, another wore a vibrant rockstar ensemble, featuring a leather jacket adorned with studs, ripped jeans, and a inflatable guitar slung casually over his shoulder, his hair styled into wild, carefree spikes.
the last one, full of energy, was decked out in a color-less pierrot clown costume, complete with pointy hat, a frilly black collar, and a checkered outfit.
“you guys have to give me a roundup of your costumes, because less than thirty minutes ago, a grandma named jake walked through this same door,” you leaned against the doorframe, catching sunoo’s excited face. he always loved speaking about things that made him happy.
“so, i’m a clown, jay is a rockstar, and heeseung is…” sunoo looked at him up and down, before turning to you with pursed lips, not aproving of the costume, “he can tell you himself.”
jay snorted at sunoo’s words, as they both greeted you properly with a hug and walked past you with the last of the food and drinks.
you squinted at heeseung, who stood there like a deer in headlights, his expression a mix of anticipation and nervousness. truth be told, you often judged who could enter based on their outfits. offending costumes were strictly banned, while fun and original ones were encouraged, hence jake's over-the-top choices every year.
“so… ironically or unironically?” you asked with a playful smirk, tugging at heeseung’s red tie. he swallowed hard at your touch, his breath hitching slightly. you felt unbelievably close.
“just something i thought of, i didn’t see the movie,” he replied, shrugging with an attempt at nonchalance, but you could see the slight blush creeping up his cheeks. you leaned in a little closer, fingers still lingering on his tie, the space between you getting smaller.
“don’t even think about it,” you said softly, your tone teasing yet intimate. his eyes widened, and you could almost feel his heartbeat quicken, as if he were waiting for you to say something else. “watching the movie. you’re better off that way.”
you tugged gently on his red tie, pulling him inside the house. he stumbled slightly, caught off guard, but the surprise quickly morphed into a grin as you locked eyes. “careful there, bateman,” you teased. this was something on going between you both, endless teasing about everything and anything. heeseung didn’t quite know how he felt about only being ‘friendly’ teasing, but every time he had wanted to show you he felt different about it, something always got in the way of it, as if the universe was against him.
he soon joined sunghoon to help him decorate the outside of the house, while sunoo and rockstar jay focused of cleaning up some trash from the decorations packaging, not before r greeting jake, at laughing at his costume choice.
some minutes later, outside your door, a boy stood nervously, his hand lingering above the worn-out doorbell, before pulling back. he dusted off his halloween costume that he had worked so hard on making the night before, being sure nothing was out of place and it would be perfect for you.
his denim overall had a green striped textile folded into it, also one as a bandana around his neck, he had a straw hat on with fake berries hot glued on it, not forgetting his dog plushie, that he also stictched the green patterned fabric over his ears.
he ensured everything was perfect. with one last look at the door, he finally mustered the courage to press the doorbell, his heart racing as he waited for someone to answer.
after a brief pause of no one answering and a quick double-check of your house number, your voice finally cut through the silence. “i’ve got it, guys. no need to crowd the door,” you said with a hint of sarcasm, seeing as everyone was suddenly too busy to answer the door.
swinging it open, you blinked in surprise at the costume, taken completely aback. “jungwon, this is absolutely adorable, i’ve never seen a costume like this,” your eyes kept scanning him up and down, as you took in every small intricate detail of his handmade costume, and the little drawn freckles on his face. jungwon felt your eyes on him, making him stutter.
“really? you like it?” he asked, his voice a mix of hope and disbelief. he was dressed as a character from a kids show you and him both loved since you met back in primary school, huckleberry pie.
instead of answering right away, you stood on your toes and pulled him into a warm embrace. you could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat against yours. “yes, of course i do,” you whispered with a laugh, the warmth of your body melting away any lingering nerves he had.
he held you tightly for a few seconds, his hands on your waist, as if he never wanted to let go. you could feel his breath quicken slightly, and your heart raced in response. just then, someone called from inside the house, shattering the moment.
you reluctantly pulled back, looking up at him with a playful smile. “let’s go inside, pretty boy” you said, poking his soft cheek teasingly, making him pout, you sneakily slid your fingers into his, as you gently tugged him inside, trying to keep yourself from stealing glances back.
niki appeared out from the tv room, shouting profanities at the game characters and jake, as he followed, only leaning against the open door.
“hey, what’s going on?” you asked niki, who looked in joy from getting you to come over to agree with him.
“he just made me die!” your yonger brother pointed a blaming finger towards jake, who rolled his eyes.
you raised your brows, and gave him a deadpan, “and you both should be helping the rest at decorating, i need to go get dressed and i can’t watch over you guys like little kids,” you spoke. niki was about to protest, but you refuted, clicking your tongue, “nuh ah, go.” you made a swirl motion with your finger, pushing him away towards the backyard.
“and you,” jake froze at your voice, gulping and running away in the direction niki went in. the pair was always together ever since they met, you’d sometimes think niki loved jake more than you, but he was just the older brother he never had.
“what do you need me to do?” a sweet voice spoke next to you, tugging your hand as you turned to him. jungwon staring back at you with determinate eyes. he clearly blamed himself for arriving slightly late, as the party was starting in a few minutes, hence why he only wanted to make himself useful to you.
thats why you bit your lip, knowing there was nothing he could do, but you offered to let him help you get ready, and jungwon agreed.
so that’s how he found himself inside your room alone with you, a situation that had never happened before. he had exclusively only been in the past which the rest of your friends, but never by himself.
he was ever so fidgety, looking around the place and his hands tapping against your bed covers, where he sat on. you knew better than to address this, jungwon wasn't the best at voicing the things that were going on in his head, getting nervous every time someone mentioned anything remotely referring to his thoughts.
what you didn’t seem to realize was that he was simply nervous being around you now, more than ever. jungwon had wanted to be closer for a long time, so long that it felt almost unbearable. he just didn’t know how to express it. you overwhelmed him in the best way possible.
you couldn’t help but giggle to yourself as you finished your makeup, fluffing the bow behind your back. “okay so, how does this look?” you turned around in your little heels, facing jungwon with a big smile. he instantly looked up when you called him, his dark eyes sparkling when he saw you.
as you walked toward him, you spun in a playful twirl, revealing the entire outfit. the white strapless corseted dress hugged your figure perfectly, accented by frilly baby pink details and a large bow at the back. you paired it with cat ears and a fluffy white boa, radiating charm.
jungwon felt a sharp ache in his chest. he had to be mad, there was no way the prettiest girl he had ever seen was just standing before him, all to himself.
“it’s so perfect,” he murmured, his hands finding their way to your waist, pulling you closer until the space between you vanished. he looked up to meet your eyes with a shy smile, igniting a spark that crackled in the air. placing your hands on his shoulder, the same feeling of comfort washed over you, of staying like this forever. he made you feel so good about yourself that you wished you’d never organized something today. jungwon was more than enough to make you complete. if you could, you would throw everyone out and keep the moment this way, with only him.
“we gotta go join the others, won,” you whispered, out of breath, “they’re gonna ask what took us so long, i don’t want you to miss the party,” you pouted, making him let out a breathy laugh.
he shook his head and stood up, following close behind you towards the stairs, where you could already hear some music playing, resonating through the spider-web decorated walls.
as you skipped down, you were thankful for your friends that started the music and lights, but were unsure of how the ‘strangers being in your home’ situation would go with - the one and only - heeseung being at the front door, letting everyone who flashed him a smile inside the house.
sunghoon was outside, playing a game with grandma jake and jay at the ping pong table. he tossed a little ball toward a cup, cheering as it landed perfectly, earning applause from the others gathered around.
your lovely introverted brother was somehow standing on your mother’s special marble table, dancing like he was a machine, making you alert, not because he could fall, but because your mother would kill you if he broke the table.
walking through all the people that crowded around him, you pulled him down by his arm, the group booeing at your actions.
“what are you doing?!” niki exclaimed, his voice barely audible between the noise and music. you slapped his arm, pointing at the table, “don’t fuck around, that doesn’t belong here. if i see anything that’s not in its place-”
he interrupted you, nodding his head, “yeah, yeah, alright, see ya’!” he hugged you quickly as if to try to make you happy once again, but then disappeared back into the crowd. in the mess of greeting people and sliding through the tight spaces, you managed to lose every single one of your friends, also your brother.
“this can’t be happening,” you sighed, being pushed around by people in your own house. it was unbelievably crowded, so much that you could barely move, feeling dizzy from all the lights shining in your eye and the restricted space.
just when you thought the night couldn’t get more chaotic, you spotted a group of your girlfriends from school. they waved you over, their faces lit with excitement. “hey! y/n! come dance with us!” one of them shouted, grabbing your hand and pulling you toward the makeshift dance floor near the backyard entrance.
you joined in, the music thumped in your chest, pulsating with energy. the lights flickered above, casting a colorful glow over everyone moving to the beat. your friends surrounded you, their laughter blending with the rhythm as you all swayed and twirled, losing yourselves in the moment.
amidst the swirling bodies and lyrics, you finally caught sight of someone else that was familiar. heeseung was lounging on one of the couches, a red cup drink in hand. his dark hair was slightly tousled, and for some reason, the way he watched you felt both intoxicating and suffocating. he sipped from his glass, the ice clinking as he observed the chaotic scene. there was an intensity in his gaze, a mix of desire and something more possessive that sent a shiver down your spine, his costume didn’t make anything better.
you felt an urge to break that distance between you two, to challenge him. with a playful smile that masked your uncertainty, you shouted over the booming music, “hey, heeseung! come dance with us!” your heart raced, a mix of excitement and dread coursing through you as you watched him hesitate, caught between the comfort of his drink and the pull of the dance floor.
his expression shifted, a smirk creeping onto his lips that felt both inviting and dangerous. you beckoned him with your hand, desperate for him to join you, yet knowing there was a darkness in that desire. in that crowded room, despite the noise and laughter, you were the only one who made him feel both drawn in and held back, a toxic blend of want and wariness.
he set his drink down on a nearby table, the cup abandoned as he pushed himself off the couch. a confident stride brought him closer, and the crowd seemed to part for him, leaving you breathless as he approached.
“yeah, come on,” you cheered for him, trying to sound casual, but the weight of his gaze made you feel vulnerable. he stepped behind you, the pulsing beat wrapping around you both as you moved together, lost in the moment.
the air thick with a mixture of body heat and anticipation. every sway of his body sent a thrill through you, the intoxicating rhythm fueling the tension that hung between you.
as you danced, he leaned closer from behind, his breath trickling against your ear. “you know you drive me crazy, right?” the words sent a jolt through you, leaving you torn between exhilaration and the nagging feeling that this might lead to something dangerous.
you smiled, trying to play it off, but the way he was so close to you, intense and hungry, made it hard to ignore the complexity of what was unfolding. in that moment, surrounded by your friends and the throbbing music, it felt like you were teetering on the edge of something uncertain.
you felt a whirlwind of emotions. heeseung’s intoxicating presence drew you in too, but your thoughts kept drifting back to jungwon. he was everything you could want, thoughtful, caring, and completely in love with you. yes you did notice, no you did not let him know you knew. the way he admired you, his gaze filled with warmth and tenderness, made your heart swell. it was really sweet, the way his dimples deepened when he was around you, and the way you felt so at home with him.
but here was heeseung, electrifying and dangerously alluring, making you feel alive in a way that was both thrilling and terrifying. his craving for you was palpable, a fire that ignited something wild inside you. you could feel the tension between you, like a magnet pulling you closer, even as your mind lingered on jungwon’s gentle nature.
“what’s going on in that head of yours?” heeseung whispered, his voice cutting through the noise. you glanced at him, and the intensity in his eyes made your heart race.
“just… thinking,” you replied, trying to keep your tone light, but the truth weighed heavily on you. you couldn’t deny the connection with heeseung, the way he made you feel like you were on the edge of something exhilarating, yet you knew jungwon would cherish you without reservation, something you’d always wanted.
“don’t think too much,” he teased, moving unbelievably closer, his breath warm against your skin. “just stay close to me.”
the pull between them was overwhelming, and you felt torn. jungwon offered you stability and love, a safe harbor in the storm, while heeseung represented a reckless, intoxicating passion that left you breathless. as you danced, lost in the moment, you struggled to reconcile the two sides of your heart, each whispering a different promise of what love could be.
it was too confusing, too much for you. you always tried your best to stayed friendly with them, not wanting to harm anyone’s feelings, but their words and actions seemed to put pressure on you. overwhelmed by the whirlwind of emotions, you decided to step away from the crowd for a moment. the dance floor felt suffocating.
just before you turned away, you caught a glimpse of heeseung pushing through the crowd, determination etched on his face. “hey, where are you going?” he called out, his voice cutting through the noise.
you paused for a moment, feeling the weight of his eyes, as if he thought he’d done something wrong. “i just need some air,” you replied, trying to sound casual but knowing you couldn’t mask the turmoil inside you.
“come on, don’t leave. stay with me,” he urged, taking a step closer, his expression a mix of concern and desire. you shook your head. “i can’t. i just need a minute, promise nothing bad happened.”
he frowned, frustration flashing in his eyes, but you could see the understanding beneath it. you turned away, feeling his presence linger behind you as you made your way toward the backyard, hoping for some fresh air. but as you stepped outside, you realized it was just as crowded, laughter and chatter echoing in the night.
frustrated, you turned and headed upstairs, needing a moment of solitude. just as you reached the staircase, a brunette girl you didn’t recognize blocked your path, arms crossed defiantly. she had an air of self-importance, like she considered herself the unofficial guardian of the second floor. “sorry, but you can’t go up there,” she said, a smug smile on her face.
you raised an eyebrow, trying to keep your composure. “i’m the owner of this house. let me through.” you tried again.
her smile faltered for a moment, but she quickly recovered. “prove it. i need to see some id.”
you felt a rush of irritation, your patience thinning. “look, i don’t know who you think you are, and i really don’t have time for this.”
without waiting for her to respond, you pushed past her, the tension of the night finally bubbling over. as you reached the top of the stairs, you breathed a sigh of relief, grateful to escape the chaos below. but as you stepped into the quiet hallway, you couldn’t shake the feeling of being pulled in two different directions, each part of you craving something entirely different.
“i feel like i’m going crazy,” you muttered, heading toward the bathroom to freshen up, you opened the door only to stumble upon two people locked in a kiss. they glanced at you, clearly startled, and one of them quickly murmured, “can you leave?”
a surge of irritation rushed through you. “again, this is my house. you are the ones who need to leave,” you said firmly, crossing your arms. they exchanged glances, then reluctantly pulled apart, grumbling as they left the bathroom.’
finally free, you made your way to your room, hoping it was unoccupied. when you pushed the door open, relief washed over you, it was empty and cold. the familiar space felt like a sanctuary, a place where you could finally catch your breath away from the chaos of the party. you closed the door behind you, leaning against it for a moment, allowing yourself to relax.
sitting on your bed, you couldn’t help but think of the familiarity of jungwon. you remembered the way he would look at you, those deep, earnest eyes filled with admiration. it was as if he saw right into your soul, and every glance felt precarious, like a fragile moment hanging in the air.
his touch was always so delicate, whether it was a brush of his fingers against your arm or the way he would tuck a stray hair behind your ear. it made you feel cherished, like you were the most important person in the world. his words had a way of wrapping around you, making you feel like you were floating on a cloud, completely at ease.
“there’s no way i’m thinking about them right now, its halloween, they’re my friends, i just-” you tried to push those thoughts aside, reminding yourself that you couldn’t hurt either of their feelings. it felt selfish to dwell on your emotions when neither jungwon nor heeseung had confessed their feelings to you. the uncertainty loomed large, and the last thing you wanted was to complicate things further.
“i can do this,” you took a deep breath, focusing on the present moment instead. you knew you had to navigate this situation carefully, keeping both their hearts in mind. but right now, you had to enjoy the night. you would just have to stay away from them, both of them.
as you resolved to stay far away from both of them for the night, you stood in front of your mirror, taking a moment to collect yourself. you adjusted your hair, fixing any messy strands, and smiled at your reflection.
the familiar face looking back at you offered a sense of reassurance, reminding you of your strength. you practiced a few light-hearted smiles, trying to shake off the weight of the evening. you knew you could enjoy the party on your own terms, without getting caught up in the tangled emotions surrounding you.
with a final touch of confidence, you stepped away from the mirror, ready to rejoin the festivities, determined to focus on having fun and enjoying the night.
you made your way downstairs and headed to the kitchen, feeling a sense of relief wash over you when you spotted jake. still decked out in his grandma costume, he was pouring drinks for a small crowd, a playful grin on his face as he bantered with everyone.
“hey! stranger! need a refill?” he asked, winking at you. his energy was infectious, and you couldn’t help but smile back.
“i haven’t even drank anything,” you replied, stepping closer to the counter. watching him juggle the drinks, you felt the tension from earlier begin to melt away. it was good to be around someone who brought lightness to the mess, and you appreciated the familiarity of his presence amidst the party's whirlwind.
jake raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised that you hadn’t had anything to drink yet. “wait, you haven’t had a drink? that’s a crime,” he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
“i’ve been… busy,” you shrugged, trying to play it off. “with stuff, dancing, everything, yeah.”
he leaned closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. “how about a special drink? it’s my secret concoction.” there was a playful glint in his eye, and he didn’t seem keen on revealing what was in it.
you hesitated, intrigued but cautious. “what’s in it?”
“if i told you, it wouldn’t be special anymore,” he teased, pouring the vibrant mixture into a glass. “trust me, it’s delicious. just one won’t hurt.”
his enthusiasm was infectious, and despite your earlier reservations, you felt tempted to join in on the fun. “alright, let’s see what you’ve got,” you said, accepting the offer with a smile.
“this is called, cute little drink,” jake handed you the cup, and as you took it, you could instantly tell it was almost all alcohol, 99% with just a splash of something else.
“jake there’s no way i’m going to drink this whole-“ before you could react, he turned to the growing crowd around the kitchen, a mischievous grin on his face.
“everyone, check this out! our girl here is about to take down my secret drink!” he announced, and the crowd erupted into cheers and playful shouts, eager to see what would happen.
you gave him a look, as if telling him to shut up, but jake only shrugged playfully. you knew that you could back down if you didn’t want to do it and he wouldn’t force you to do anything, but now you were ready to let go, to become the irresponsible host you were always bound to be.
with the energy buzzing around you, you raised the cup, feeling both exhilarated and a little nervous. the crowd began to count down, and as they reached one, you downed the drink in one go. the burn and nausea hit you immediately, but you powered through, feeling the warmth spread through your chest.
the crowd went wild, clapping and cheering as you finished. jake was right there, giving you a high five and laughing. “yeah, you did it! that’s how it’s done! that’s my girl!” the excitement surged through you, and for a second, your love problems else went away. you felt alive, ready to embrace the rest of the night.
“another one?” jake offered you another drink, but you shook your head, laughter still bubbling in your chest. “no way, one is enough for me right now, maybe later.”
just then, sunghoon appeared, his energy infectious as he walked in with his other girl best friend, wonyoung. “there you are!” she exclaimed, pulling you into a warm hug. “we’ve been looking everywhere for you!” she smiled brightly, in her adorable bo peep costume, filled with bows and pink.
“we’re about to go outside,” sunghoon said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “jay’s getting ready to jump into the pool from the rooftop! you have to come see this!”
“he’s doing what?” your mouth fell, as they realized what they just did, you had banned rooftop jumping into the pool a year ago, after someone broke a leg and their mother called you furiously, as if it had been your fault, when you didn’t even know the person.
“maybe we should have told her…” sunghoon started, glancing at wonyoung.
“are you kidding? no i don’t care, let’s go outside!” you pushed pass them, waving goodbye at jake, who met your friend’s confused glances, before they followed behind.
as you made your way outside with sunghoon and wonyoung, you felt a sense of comfort in her presence. wonyoung had always been a bright light in your life, her laughter infectious and her support unwavering.
“i’m so glad you decided to join us!” she said, looping her arm through yours. “we were worried you’d miss the fun! it’s crazy out there, i was expecting you to see there scolding people,” she laughed. even if your responsible demeanor when things got too crazy was boring for some, she admired it, the way you got everyone to do what you wanted and keep everything under control. she knew that if she tried to host a party like yours, it would end up in a huge mess.
you laughed, appreciating her enthusiasm. “i needed a little breather, i’m done being uptight with everyone and worrying about dumb stuff,” you spoke.
“trust me, you won’t want to miss this,” she replied, her eyes shining with excitement. “jay’s been hyping up this jump all night. it’s going to be so funny,” she laughed.
as you reached the backyard, wonyoung pulled you closer, sharing snippets of gossip and laughter, and you felt your earlier worries start to fade. her friendship always had a way of lifting your spirits, and you were grateful for the bond you shared.
just then, jay’s voice boomed from the roof. “everyone, shut up for a second!” he shouted, his tone dramatic as he stood at the edge of the rooftop. the crowd fell silent, eyes drawn to him in anticipation.
without warning, jay took off his shirt, and a chorus of excited screams erupted from the girls around. you couldn't help but laugh as sunghoon yelled, “cover up, man!” while shaking his head, clearly both amused and exasperated. jay merely shot him a middle finger, grinning widely, reveling in the attention.
“you’re all about to witness… king of the rooftop!” jay shouted, preparing to jump. the crowd began a countdown, their voices rising in unison. “three… two… one!”
when jay finally leaped off the roof, it felt like time slowed down. the crowd collectively held its breath, eyes locked on him as he soared through the air, his body silhouetted against the night sky. for a brief moment, he seemed to hang there, suspended in excitement, and then gravity took over.
as he plunged into the pool, the splash was monumental, water erupted in a frothy cascade, glistening under the colorful lights of the party. the sound of the impact echoed around you, followed by a wave of laughter and cheers from the crowd. girls squealed, and even the guys whooped, caught up in the exhilaration of the moment.
you watched as jay resurfaced, wiping the water from his face with a triumphant grin. he laughed, clearly relishing the attention as he raised his arms in victory, droplets flying off him. the cheers grew louder, a wave of excitement swept through the crowd, and one by one, people began to jump into the pool after him. sunghoon was surprisingly quick to follow, his laughter ringing out as he made a dramatic splash, eliciting cheers from everyone around.
wonyoung turned to you, her eyes sparkling with mischief and adventure. in that moment, you both knew without needing to say a word, you had to join in on the fun. a shared thrill passed between you, igniting a rush of spontaneity.
you both quickly slipped off your high heels and left your phones behind, the exhilaration building as you approached the edge of the pool. taking a deep breath, you clasped her hand tightly, feeling a surge of adrenaline.
“on three!” she declared, and you nodded, her smile wide with excitement.
“one… two… three!” you jumped in unison, the cool water enveloping you as you splashed down. the moment felt liberating.
as you surfaced from the water, a wave of exhilaration washed over you, feeling lighter than air. the coolness of the pool contrasted beautifully with the warmth of the night, and in that moment, you felt utterly free, unburdened by worries or expectations. with wonyoung beside you, you both erupted into giggles, splashing each other playfully.
after you climbed out of the pool, the refreshing chill of the water slowly faded away, replaced by the warm night air. you laughed and dried off a bit with someone’s random shirt before grabbing your phone, eager to check in with your sister and parents, not hearing from them all evening.
but your heart sank as you saw a message from an unknown number. the text was simple yet unsettling.
it read. meet me at the basement now. i cant keep holding onto this any longer. can’t tell u anything else until you get here. please.
a shiver ran down your spine. the basement felt like an ominous place, hidden away from the lively atmosphere above. it felt too eerie, specially in a date like today.
part of you wanted to ignore the message, to dismiss it as a prank, but another part was curious. who could it be? why the secrecy? you took a deep breath, trying to calm your racing thoughts.
“hey, what’s wrong?” wonyoung asked, noticing your sudden change in demeanor.
“just… got a weird text,” you replied, glancing at her, uncertainty evident in your voice. “someone wants me to meet them in my basement.”
“alone? no way, do you want me to go with you?” she offered, her expression turning serious.
you hesitated, feeling the pull of both fear and intrigue. “no, i think i do need to go alone. i’ll be fine. i just… need to see what this is about.” you shivered slightly.
“okay, but i will go down to check if you’re okay in a few minutes,” with a nod of encouragement from wonyoung, you steeled yourself through the living room and made your way toward the basement door, the lively party fading into the background as anticipation mixed with apprehension filled the air.
you took a deep breath as you descended the familiar creaky stairs, each step echoing in the silence of the dimly lit basement. the atmosphere felt heavy, and the shadows seemed to stretch ominously around you, heightened by the terrifying vibes of halloween. a chill ran down your spine, both from anxiety and still being drenched in water.
every creak of the floorboards made your heart race. the unsettling feeling of being alone in a place usually filled with laughter felt amplified tonight. thoughts of ghosts and ghouls flickered through your mind, mixing with the adrenaline of the unknown.
when you reached the bottom, the air was cool and still. you squinted into the darkness, trying to make out any familiar shapes or figures. “hello?” you called out, your voice trembling slightly.
the silence was thick, and just as you were about to turn back, a voice emerged from the shadows. “you came.”
you jumped at it, as the voice came out of now where, making the situation more real. but the person noticed your small squeak, and said, “it’s okay, it’s just me,”
it was low and familiar, yet you couldn't place it. your heart raced as you stepped further into the dim light, feeling both anxious and strangely drawn to the mystery unfolding in front of you.
“you can turn the light on,” the voice said, breaking the silence. it was reassuring yet still carried an air of mystery.
your heart pounded as you slowly approached the cord near the window. the darkness felt suffocating, amplifying your nerves. with a hesitant breath, you reached up and tugged on the cord, the overhead light flickering to life and illuminating the basement.
as the harsh light flooded the space, you squinted against the brightness, finally able to see the figure standing before you. your breath caught in your throat as the familiar silhouette came into focus. it was someone you recognized, more than anyone at all.
there he stood, wearing his costume in the middle of your terrifying basement…

What did you do to glow up?
so for context i'm 31 and i had a baby 2 years ago - answer below but bear with me - i feel the need to preface as i feel the focus on external beauty and glowing up on here is often super problematic. i sort of go in waves with my appearance, where i'll focus specifically on one area, then just go on living my life. then when i'm in the mood again, another area. i don't obsess over it, i think it can get toxic really fast. i enjoy the energy and benefits of looking my best but i don't feel that i need to necessarily look perfect or like a supermodel. i've had times of my life when i looked terrible and nothing bad happened lol. in general i have a very normal (but happy) life and my main goals are intellectual pursuits. but as a lover of beauty, in general i've spent the last 10-15 years thinking about how to look my best for the pleasure of it so it's hard to summarise everything.
i'm in the middle of a focused glow up at the moment and here's what i'm doing:
regular exercise (pilates 5x week, spin cycle when i can) and cleaning up my diet (mostly seasonal-ish whole foods, i love food and i'm not strict at all, i don't need to look like a model or celeb so i enjoy myself)
figuring out my hair care and styling. i like sleek shiny princess hair. i paid to see the most senior stylist possible at my salon and she also gave me a lot of tips and better understood how to cut my hair to suit me. worth it.
strict AM + PM skincare routine + medispa occasionally for the super intense facial treatment that gives me celebrity skin.
upgrading my personal style. especially paying more attention to my seasonal colours + silhouettes that actually flatter me. being brutally honest with what looks good or bad, which i think takes a really healthy mindset about your body. makes a ridiculous amount of difference to have attention to detail though.
learning how to do my make up to suit me. the clean girl look makes me look dead. i'm a dark winter in seasonal colour so i need more make up + more saturated colours. instant glow up.
working on my mindset, mental health, relationships, etc. honestly makes a major difference. no use prettifying the outside if you feel like shit inside (though also, care and attention to oneself = improved mental health, so it comes from both ends). life is a lot easier now that i'm happier and i feel i'm generally average-ish looking but i am perceived and treated as more attractive than i am (in terms of beauty standards) because i have a grounded and confident energy. really it's the energy that matters, not what you actually look like. that's what i believe most.
anyway, if there's any areas or ideas specifically anyone would like me to explore more, i'm happy to do so. just let me know.

Found You

Muichiro Tokito x reader
Warning: Angst but have a proper ending
Note: I notice that my most favored post is Muichiro's oneshot. So I made another one, I hope you enjoyed it
And all along, I believed I would find you. Time has brought your heart to me.
I have loved you
__________________
"Muichiro" I heard Kyojuro-san call for me as I was standing at the engawa of the Ubuyashiki's household.
The other pillars were celebrating inside as I decided to be alone for a while until the Flame Hashira looked for me when he noticed my presence is not with them.
Both of us were silent as I didn't even bother glancing at him.
My heart always feels heavy so talking to anyone wouldn't make it better if they can't grant it.
"It's been 7 years kiddo. You need to move on" I heard him as he sat on the edge of the Engawa that made me stare at him.
He tapped the place beside him as he looked back at me.
I silently sat down on that place and he already had his arms resting on my shoulder.
"Your mind and heart should not always be on her. You have yourself too"
"I can't" I muttered as I felt my eyes started to sting a little as my memories with her keep flashing in my mind.
"She was..." I trailed off as I saw my imagination on her sitting down on the grass as the moon gracefully highlighted her existence.
For my vision, she was the angel that God sent to me.
So why did we end up that way?
Her fading silhouette disappeared in front of me as I swallowed the lump on my throat.
"She was the only one I have"
"And she left, kid. There are really times in our life that the heavens above would send to teach us a lesson and that lesson you learned can be found on someone else" he advised me as he pat my back.
I look down and I can't help but fisted my hands on his words.
"What if I want her to be my everything?"
"Then that's dangerous" he exclaimed before he stared at me.
I felt the tears in my eyes slowly build up as a small smile lifted from my lips on his words.
"You told me.." I breathlessly whisper as I started to have a hard time speaking knowing my next words would make me break down sobbing.
"You told me to set my heart ablaze. Go beyond my limits. Follow my dreams"
Tears started to slide down from my cheeks as I looked up as his facade softened when he saw my state.
"I did what you told me and in exchange..." I started to heave breaths as he ran his hand on my back in an attempt to comfort me.
"In exchange, she left me" I breathlessly let out as he brought my head to his shoulder to help me silence my cries.
I miss her...
I miss her so badly.
"Why is it so painful when I set her free. She was the only one I had when I lost my twin. Why didn't she stay with me" I continue crying as he let me rant the painful words I didn't manage to say to her.
"Why did she deprive me of the explanation I needed. She knew I only have her, she clearly knew that"
My body trembled in anger that would die down the moment I remember my moments with her.
But for now, I can't take it anymore.
"Kid, listen to me" he pulled away before he tapped my arms in a way to get my attention.
"Some people are meant to stay for a while even if we want them to stay forever"
My heart broke more on his words as I can't prevent my sobs from being drowned down.
"You followed your dreams. You love and that's not wrong. But for me kiddo, you need someone better. Someone who would support your dream of protecting the world. Someone who would stick beside you no matter how cruel the destiny you will face. True love is about staying even if there are reasons to leave"
I wiped my tears using my trembling hands as I looked up to him.
"But I always wanted her"
~•°•~
"Chiro" I heard her voice behind me that made me look up and saw her bring food for me and my brother.
She is one of the girls in the village who started to look after me and my brother after my parents died.
She didn't say her reasons but her happiness with us was unexplainable.
Even my brother can't help but soften up with her.
She is the one who put an ointment with the scratches on my arms and always tried her best to get along with my brother.
I overcame my parents death because of her.
She put colors back in my dull world. She helped me manage my brother's anger.
She made the world more bearable.
Until everything fell apart when my brother died due to the injuries the demon inflicted on him.
I almost died too if she didn't immediately call for help.
She helped me survive because of her gut feeling. It broke me when I barely even remembered her the moment I woke up but she didn't hold any hatred against it.
She still stayed as I trained myself to become stronger, to become a better defender.
Because I won't make it if I lose her too.
I train myself to protect her from the cruel challenges that the world will give to her.
But I didn't know she was slowly drifting farther away from me.
That one day, she suddenly burst her real feelings to the new me.
The new me who became a hashira, to help me ease the deep hatred I had for the demons even if I forgot my reason is to avenge my brother.
"I don't want you to become a slayer!" She shouted that loud and clear. That I could hear the fear and disappointment in her tone that broke my heart further.
"I did this to protect you"
"No!" She snapped back as tears filled her own eyes. "You can't risk your life in a battle"
"Y/n" I softly called out for her as I took a hold of her cheek but she didn't want to look me in the eyes at all.
"I'm doing this, so I can protect the people I love" I muttered as she slapped my hands away from her.
"How about yourself? Did you ever think of your life at least? Why do you always need to look for others!" She shouted as anger filled her eyes that made me step back.
It finally dawned to me that she has the same mindset as my brother.
I wanted to become a sword man because I want to protect the people. My brother thought I was useless for it, and she...
She think I would let myself die on the battlefield.
With my heart burning with hatred, I would not let myself die as long as the demons are not annihilated from this world.
"Y/n" I pulled her to an embrace as she tried to remove herself from my grasp.
"I need this to protect you"
"You don't. If you really think I would like this then let me tell you. I really don't!" She shouted as I could feel her hitting my chest but I refused to let her go.
"Why do you need to end up in this fate"
I felt my world stop the moment she weakly uttered those words.
"I ask for help from the wrong people" I pulled away from her as my own eyes reflect my disbelief on her words.
"Y/n"
It sounded like she regretted everything. Just because I chose to become a fighter?
"I hate you!"
Those dreadful words were the last thing I heard as she turned her back from me and walked away.
My feet were frozen and I couldn't even run to catch her.
No
I can, but I don't have the right words to make her stay.
What was I supposed to do?
Who am I supposed to be just to make her stay in my life.
That day...
I felt like I was really alone in this world.
~•°•~
It's been seven years ever since my family moved to the countryside for a more peaceful life where the village is in harmony and has not been attacked by demons at all.
A place where demons never existed.
Most of the time I thought of that sentence, it only reminds me of the person I decided to leave.
Cruel or not but I did it for myself.
I just can't handle the path he chose for his self.
My thoughts were snap when I remember what I was doing.
I was praying for his own safety.
I looked up and saw the kamidana as I put down my offering before clasping my hands together.
"I pray for his safety"
Even if I left him, even if he thinks I hated him, in the end, I would want him to continue living even if I was not there.
I couldn't accept his dream so I left hoping that he could reach it without me.
Because I know I can't support him knowing he is putting his life at risk.
I don't want to lose someone important to me again.
So cruel or not, I left early so it won't be that painful anymore.
I kowtow in front of the Kamidana before I looked outside the window and the moon started to rise.
How can the night be this peaceful and beautiful but dangerous.
I didn't think of anything anymore as I started to head my way back to my room.
I felt the cold breeze in my room as I noticed that the windows were open. I went outside so I can think better about the choices I made in my life.
One of them was the choice of leaving him.
There are no days I didn't berate myself for it.
It was selfish, because I wanted to lessen the pain and just left him hanging after he lost his family.
But at the same time, isn't it better?
He could follow his dream and at the same time, meet a better woman.
In his story, I am just a side character he shouldn't protect.
Because in the end, I would keep choosing myself.
I sigh as I embrace the coldness of the night as I gaze at the stars above.
I was just a stepping stone for him to be stronger. His reason, but should never be his first choice.
I want him to put himself first before others, before me.
"Yuichiro, I hope you're guiding him" I whispered as I felt my chest tighten.
Seven years, and I still remember both of them no matter how our destiny lined up.
I am still trying to unbind the tangled paths in front of me. The path of my life that I wanted to live peacefully.
I wanted a chosen destiny where I can be happy.
A Fate that wouldn't revolve around him.
My blood turm cold when I hear my mother scream outside my room. Without thinking further, I ran towards her direction and saw blood across the kitchen floor.
My father was holding a sword as the demon had his hand on my mother's neck.
I felt my hands shook in fear as I saw the terror in my parents'eyes.
I put a finger on my lips when my father was about to call my name.
Without a second thought, I took a knife and cut myself on the wrist and finally heard my father calling my name.
"You blood lust monster! I have the blood you wanted" I felt my voice lowered as I said those words.
No matter what, I won't let myself die in this situation.
The demon turned his head on my way and saw his face that almost looked like a zombie.
My body was trembling but I know, I need to stay calm.
"Leave... My mother... Alone" I stated those words with a cold tone as I keep my eye contact with him.
When he let my mother down the floor, I started to step back.
"Dad, I know what I need to do. Just stay with mom" I uttered those words as I keep my eyes on the demon who took a step forward as I step back.
On the side, I saw my father's silhouette embrace my mom's before I opened the door and made a run outside.
I can hear the quick footsteps of the demon beside me as I see the village. There are bodies on the ground as I realized there are more than one demon here.
"I have marechi blood!" I shouted like a lunatic in hopes to get the attention of the demons that attacked the village.
And I did
Knowing the selfish nature of these creatures, they would fight with each other for my blood.
I took the sword of one of the bodies and realized they were from the demon slayer corps.
These people were his peers.
I removed that from my mind when they started to run towards me while others fought with each other.
I slashed the neck of the other demons with all the strength I've got but it was not enough.
One demon manages to take a hold of the edge of the sword before pulling it away from me by force and knowing one of the wrists has a wound.
It started to sting in pain. I hissed as I fell forward to the ground.
My fears were gone the moment the pain settled into my system as I took a hold of my bleeding wrist to stop the blood from flowing.
They just growl when I do that.
Well as long as they are far away from the village, I can make it.
As long as I find a way.
But not even a minute passed by, a demon pounced on me with its fangs shown.
I thought I was going to die at that moment.
If it weren't for a sudden figure who showed up behind me and kicked the demon away from me.
He took his sword out and I immediately recognized the words written on his sword.
'Destroyer of Demons'
I felt my heartbeat quicken when It finally dawned on me the pale turquoise color at the end of their long hair as they easily killed the demons that surround us.
With their back facing me, I can only hear the wind and the sound of insects across the forest.
The figure in front of me finally turned in my direction and I knew...
I knew my destiny is tangled with his again.
His blank gaze slowly softened when his eyes laid on me. A look of relief crossed on his ways as he took strides towards me.
"Y/n" I heard his voice tremble when he called my name as tears built up on my eyes.
"I finally found you"
The happiness and relief on his tone was recognizable as he pulled me into an embrace, hiding his displayed emotions on my shoulders.
I felt my clothes started to get wet and I realized he was crying.
"Mui" His arms grip around me as I feel my chest tighten. The pain...
It was clear to both of us.
It was really clear that no one wanted to be away from each other. All those years because of selfishness, we went through the feeling of longing and heartbreak.
The Selfish I chose for myself. A choice that should be a fuel to his hatred for me.
So he can forget about me...
Yet the emotion I expected him to give me the moment we meet again, was nowhere to be found.
It was simply happiness when he found me.
It made me realize the precious someone I have abandoned that made me have the urge to embrace him like he did.
In the end,
I can't completely remove the feelings that have slowly built up within me
The truth is...
I just don't want him to die on me...

“Don’t you see what a dangerous game you’re playing? Why did you have to look so fucking delicious tonight, I couldn’t stop undressing you in my mind, thinking of all the twisted things I want to do to you.” She had only worked on the touring team for three weeks, but her mind had been hijacked by dirty thoughts of a man she barely even talked to. Sure, he was very attractive, but were there other reasons she was so uncontrollably drawn to him? This is a filthy story of pain, self discovery, and love.

Chapter 1: Your eyes are swallowing me
Chapter title is lyrics from "Sleepwalking"
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I'd be lying if I said I hadn’t noticed him.
So maybe I did take a little longer to get ready when I knew he'd be around; maybe my skirt was suddenly pulled up just that little bit higher than usual; maybe I loosened a button or two, but it's not like I was delusional enough to believe I ever had a shot with the man.
I was just an assistant.
I did the menial tasks that usually went unnoticed. But sometimes when I came back with food he'd flash me the most wicked smile as he took it off me.
"Ta, love", and a shiver would run through my body.
It was the night after a big set in London, an apartment style hotel room had been booked for the whole band with a shared common space. The place had clearly been picked as a bit of a party accommodation to celebrate the tour. It was quite posh, lavish furniture, open planning, and a great view. All the things you'd expect of an expensive hotel.
Everyone had gotten a bit too drunk tonight, and it was part of my job to make sure they got to bed to catch a flight tomorrow, so I was the only sober one here.
It was also my job to make sure the alcohol kept flowing, the right guests were let in, and taxis were ordered.
Despite how busy I was, I kept catching myself staring at him. I couldn't help myself, he was always such a delightful mess after a concert; dishevelled hair, smeared eyeliner, a bit sweaty – a wonderful mix of tired and happy. Essentially he always came off the stage looking like he'd just finished having some really good sex.
I shook my head, realising I'd been staring again.
Hopefully he hadn’t noticed.
The night went by in a blur of busy tasks. Suddenly it was four in the morning, I had just finished getting everyone to bed and all the guests out of there. I sighed deeply at the state of the place and began the daunting task of cleaning up.
That's when I saw him across the room.
The lights were dimmed low as I’d been strategically turning them off throughout the night in the hopes that it would make everyone sleepier, so I was only able to make out the silhouette of a man.
He was sprawled on the sofa, legs spread and leaned back, but I could tell it was Oli – his long, fluffy hair is unmistakable.
"Oh fuck, Oli you scared the living shit out of me."
That was probably the longest sentence I'd ever dared say to him, as I was usually too flustered to form proper sentences, but the sheer exhaustion from the night and the adrenaline from surprise got the better of me.
I heard a laugh from the dark figure on the sofa, "Sorry love I didn't mean to scare you, but I'm not ready to sleep just yet." You could hear the words had been spoken with a lazy smile.
Suddenly I was very aware of the fact that we were all alone, and he sounded...
No, I didn’t even dare think it.
He's just tired and drunk, surely that's the only reason he sounds so...
"R-right. Just remember we've got a flight tomorrow."
I could see his head tilt to the side as he contemplated what I’d said, but he clearly decided he didn't give a fuck, as his response came unbothered, completely ignoring my comment, "Get me another drink will you?"
Suddenly the walls felt as if they were closing in. I was nervous to say the least. I had never been alone with him before, and for some reason it felt weirdly intimate despite him being all the way across the room.
I didn't know how to respond beyond simply following his order, so I shakily turned around and walked over to the dining room table where all the drink bottles were lined up, while being entirely too aware of his gaze on me from behind.
There was a rustle of fabric like he’d gotten off the sofa, followed shortly by the sound of his footsteps behind me by the table.
I didn't get a chance to properly digest what was happening before his hands were firmly gripping my hips, making me gasp, the impact almost making me fall forward. Instead I instinctively braced myself against the table, nearly knocking over the half empty liquor bottles there.
My heart began racing, threatening to jump out of my chest, as I felt his hard cock clearly through the fabrics between us, pressing against my ass as I was pinned to the table. His hand quickly moved to my throat to prevent me from falling forwards further, as if he didn’t want me bent over, using it to guide my head close to his.
I was surrounded by him.
His scent, his hair falling into my view, his lips against my ear, his breath against my cheek, the hand on my throat possessive and firm. I was contorted, pinned painfully between the table and his warm body behind me as I was being held up by his grip.
His lips parted gently against my ear, and spoke in a tone I can only describe as carnal, "I get lonely you see, and I've noticed you noticing me. You want me, yeah?”
He had noticed after all.
I swallowed, hard.
“Will you nod for me love if you want me."
My heartbeat promptly moved between my legs.
I do want him – oh god do I want him. My whole body felt like it was on fire.
But his request was so much more than a search for knowledge of whether I wanted him or not, it was an inquiry of approval, a probing of whether I’d allow this to happen, or if we part ways here before anything further happens.
I nodded against his hand around my throat, causing his breath to speed up.
His lips spread into a smile against my ear, "Let’s have some fun then."
I was wearing a simple, strappy, mini dress so his hair fell onto my bare shoulders as he kissed my neck, his warm breath fanned my skin. My eyes shut from the delightful sensations, and I began mindlessly moving my hips against him, causing his grip on me to tighten.
"Ah, you like that don't you?"
I nodded again, probably a bit too eagerly.
He chuckled, which I felt as a puff of warm air against my neck more than heard. His mouth returns to my ear, speaking lazily like a predator toying with its prey, "You're so fucking desperate for me, aren't ya?"
My eyes flew open. I nodded again, slower this time, feeling exposed.
The truth is that I am desperate; desperate enough daydream about him constantly, to touch myself at night when I was all alone, imagining all ways I want to be fucked by him. In fact, I’d grown quite attached to using all my perverted thoughts about the man as a distraction from my life, from everything I’ve been through lately.
From pain.
"I bet you're soaking, I bet you have been all night." His grip on my hip relaxed, turning into a caress, moving towards the hem of my dress, lifting it slightly as his fingers trailed closer to my pussy.
His voice darkened and intensified, "I reckon you've ruined your underwear just being near me."
Then his hand finally reached my pooling wetness and my body immediately went electric, my knees buckled and my mouth fell open with a gasping, desperate moan as my hands mindlessly grabbed at his strong arm holding my throat to steady myself.
The hand that had just caused my brain to short circuit from a simple touch to my core, quickly retracted away to yank me back up from slumping over.
"Sh, sh, sh, you're gonna have to be quiet or you're gonna wake the lads, can’t have that, can we?" He whispered playfully.
I just wanted him back between my legs, so I spoke, in such a desperate tone that I surprised myself, "I–I'm sorry, p--please, please don't stop."
His grip on me loosened to pull the skirt of my dress up to my waist, and slide my underwear down. I felt them pop over my ass before falling to my ankles on the floor.
"We don't need these anymore." He muttered behind me as he returned to feel my pussy, this time without the soaking fabric stopping him. I felt his forehead on my shoulder as he moved along my folds with intent, his breath coming faster.
"To be honest with you love, I'm pretty fucking desperate too." Then he pushed two fingers into me and I was suddenly fighting for dear life not to moan.
I gripped the table again to stay upright, willing my body to behave. The last thing I wanted was for him to stop.
His mouth replaced his forehead on my shoulder, kissing me with parted lips, biting slightly every so often, his hips pushed back into mine, causing me to feel his cock against my ass again – now only his fabrics between us.
I felt untethered, like I’d been transported somewhere else, into some wild fantasy; this couldn't possibly be happening.
I turned my head slightly, searching, wanting to kiss him. His mouth moved to my neck, then my ear, then my cheek, leaving breathy kisses and bites where he wanted to.
Right when I thought he was going to turn me around to kiss him, he removed the fingers and placed the now soaking hand firmly on the back of my neck, pushing me forward. I gasped in surprise and disappointment at the hand once again disappearing from my pussy, but the grip was strong and I could only obey. I pushed the bottles in front of me forward as I was bent over so they wouldn't be knocked over.
The shock of the sudden movements brought me back to reality and I started blushing. I was currently bent over a table, bare ass and pussy exposed to Oli Sykes, in the middle of a shared common room where any of the band mates could walk in at any point. This was insane.
But I didn’t want to be anywhere else.
"Fuck." he said under his breath behind me, "You're a vision…" Then I heard more fabric rustling, and suddenly something a lot warmer and bigger was at my entrance.
How was I supposed to not moan? How was I supposed to not…
And then he started pushing into me.
I bit down on my lip so hard it would probably bruise, clawing at the table. A low moan came from behind me as he pushed deeper, to the hilt. He stopped there for a moment and leaned over me; I could feel his heat, the rising and falling of his chest, his laboured breathing against me, his soaking hand still possessively on the back of my neck.
"You're doing great love, stay just like that, don't make a sound, yeah?" He whispered close to my ear.
That's when he started pumping, and I once again was transported to some other reality. I couldn't help it, I was moving, I felt wild, I wanted to scream, and suddenly I’d lost control again and another moan escaped my lips.
As soon as I did he stopped, his hand that had been pinning me to the table wrapped around my neck, leaving all the flesh there wet with my own juices, before pulling me back up against him.
His lips were back at my ear, hair back in my vision. “What a shame, you were doing so well for me.”
He pulled away and I felt him slip out of me, causing a pang of sadness to wash over me, thinking it's over, but in the same motion he turned me around, grabbing me by the hips to sit me on the table before him. He spread my legs to step between them, before our eyes met.
And suddenly it felt as if time stopped.
He is gorgeous.
Dishevelled hair falling haphazardly around his face, lips slightly parted, the tattoos creeping up his neck, framing his face. His eyes were shining bright in the dim light, glassy but still intense. There was so much hunger in them, yet so much sadness.
The words slipped out of me without a thought, barely a whisper, “...Are you ok?”
His brows furrowed slightly as he searched my face, clearly not quite sure how to respond, like I'd thrown him off. You could tell he was intoxicated, as I don't think he'd be this honest with me, essentially a stranger, in a sober state – nor this forward.
He spoke softly, “Tonight I wanted to throw everything away, just say fuck it; does anything really matter? I'm supposed to have my fucking shit together, yet all I want to do–” He looked away, shaking his head as he cut himself off.
Silence filled the air around us for a long moment as he was lost in thought, then suddenly his eyes shot back to mine, speaking slowly, thoughtfully, “I've had my eye on you all night, and you look just as wrapped up in temptation as I feel. I just need an escape and I have a feeling you do too, don't you?”
His vagueness didn't matter, I knew what he was talking about, and I felt it too; the relentless pressure of life was crushing and there was a reason I couldn't keep my eyes off of him, why I wanted him so badly. Everyone could see there's something tortured about Oli, something passionate and wild that could barely be contained.
And while I didn’t like to acknowledge it, I could relate. I also wanted to just let go, be free. Whatever that meant.
And I wanted to go there with him.
I reached out to touch his face, he flinched at the intimate gesture but didn't resist.
My mouth opened to speak, but I couldn’t find the words so I just nodded instead.
His expression softened and he nodded in return; a silent understanding that neither of us fully knew why the other needed this, but it didn’t matter. We didn’t need to know the intimate details about each other's pain to know we’re both desperate for some relief.
His eyes fell to my lips, “I just want to lose myself in you for a little while...”
Lose myself.
Yes that’s it – a nice little escape from it all. I could feel a sombre smile spread across my lips. With the caress on his cheek I tried to guide him into a kiss, but instead he moved to my neck, tasting my juices still lingering there.
He made a low rumbling noise in his chest then moved back to my ear, “You taste so sweet, love. Now, let's see if we can keep you quiet for this next bit.”
Pulling away he met my gaze again, this time with a faint devilish smile playing on his lips as he placed his hand over my mouth to encourage me to remain silent.
I didn’t resist, I wanted nothing more than to feel him inside me again.
It hit me that I am not sure exactly where my limits were, as long as he just continued using me.
Using me.
That’s what it was, that’s what I craved.
I just want him to use me.
While this was news to me, I didn't want to think about this revelation now. The last thing I wanted to do right now was psychoanalyse myself. Thankfully I didn’t have to try very hard to shake the thought off, because Oli pulled me right back to the moment as his less busy hand slipped between us, guiding his cock back to me.
“I'll take things a bit slower at first, yeah? And you will stay quiet this time.”
He was nodding his head while holding my gaze steadily, clearly expecting me to nod back in return.
So I did, looking nervous as I didn’t fully trust myself.
“Fuck, don't make that face love, I just want to start pounding to watch you struggle.”
Despite his last words, he entered me slowly. His eyes darken as he pulled me closer to him. Then he was moving inside me, that wicked smile tugging at the corners of his lips as his gaze lazily roamed me. When his eyes came back to meet mine I could see something wild flicker behind them, like a promise of things to come.
Yes.
He was moving faster, testing me to see if I could keep quiet. My nails were digging into his shoulders to retain control, but I was doing it, only the slightest of noises escaped me.
“That's it, just like that.”
He looked at the hand covering my mouth, the tip of his tongue playing against his teeth. The grip loosened and two fingers pushed playfully into my mouth, his breath catching at the sight, appearing positively feral. His movements stopped for a moment, before he thrust into me, hard, his smile turning into a more serious expression, as if he was at some type of breaking point.
As if he was really sick of containing himself.
“Fuck it.” He said in a deep tone before removing the fingers that had been feeling my tongue, replace them with his lips. His arms wrapped around me, kissing me deeply, moaning into my mouth as he began thrusting harder.
Our hands are everywhere, grabbing, pulling, pushing, clawing.
I felt fingers slip into my hair to yank my head back in order to bite my neck, and I couldn't help it, I whimpered in response.
But he didn't care, if anything it spurred him on.
After a moment he pulled away to push me down on the table once more, this time facing him.
I looked up at him; he looked dangerous, unleashed, almost animalistic. His hair was everywhere, his mouth was open, panting heavily, and I could barely see his eyes. The energy was infectious, I was smothered in it as I writhe on the table.
Yes, this is it. This is what I need.
He pulled the top of my dress and bra down in one swift and painful motion, his hand gripping my throat agonisingly hard.
Hard enough for normal breaths to become difficult.
A rush of adrenaline washes over me, a confusing yet delightful mix of fear and arousal. He must have noticed, as his grip on my neck loosened slightly, letting me know he was still in there somewhere, despite appearing almost possessed.
With that knowledge I let go.
I clawed at him, wrapped my legs around him. He was so warm and solid, and I felt as if I was drowning in it; in him. Our movements became a blur of pain and pleasure.
Somewhere in the distance I heard glass bottles clanging, then one after another fell to the floor.
Again, he didn’t care.
The world had fallen away and it was only us and our ecstasy here.
His head lowered as his movements came slower, with more intent. In a deep, nearly unrecognisable voice he murmurs, “I'm close.”
Another rush of emotions washed over me.
A certainty, an almost primal need. I spoke my wishes through clenched teeth in a strangled and desperate tone, “Cum in me.”
His grip on me tightens further, this time constricting my breathing entirely. He falls forward on top of me, burying his face in the crook of my neck next to the vice grip he held on my throat. My fingers dig into his hair, pulling him closer. His breath became ragged as I felt him filling me up with every thrust.
After a moment I hear some of it drip onto the floor beneath us.
The grip on my neck loosened and I inhaled sharply.
We lay like this for a minute before coming back to reality, letting our heart rates slow down.
I was bewildered, yet amazed.
What had just happened? I felt like I’d unlocked a whole new part of myself, a longing that I didn’t quite understand yet, something simmering under the surface for what felt like years.
Something in me craved the danger, the fear, the pain, to be used. Like there was some depraved form of freedom in giving my body and mind to someone and letting them have their way with me. And not to mention; how can something make me feel this incredibly good, without having even reached orgasm from it?
In all the confusion, one thing felt completely unwavering;
I wanted more.
Thoughts were swimming around in my head when a gentle caress grazed my throat. It was a sweet gesture, the polar opposite of the aggression I’d just experienced during our shared bliss. My brows furrowed in confusion for a moment before he raised himself up, our faces only inches apart. I studied his expression, he appeared worried – questioning.
A soft, almost boyish voice spoke, “Are you alright?”
Such simple words, but the question wasn’t.
I could tell he wanted to know if I felt unsafe, if I was in pain, and if what transpired between us had crossed a line. If he had crossed a line.
My face blooms into a tired smile, “Yes. I’m a bit confused, but I’m good.”
His expression softened some but not fully, and he started searching my neck and chest for any signs of injury, but I grabbed his hands to stop him.
“Really, I’m okay. I didn’t know I could feel like this. I-I don’t fully understand it…“ I paused to try and find the words, “Tonight you’ve done more for me than I could–”
He cuts me off with a kiss, much more tender than our previous ones. After a moment he pulls away to speak, “Oh love, you have no idea.”
I continued smiling, I couldn’t stop, and his features mimicked mine.
My words came sheepishly, “Maybe we could do this again?”
Right as I finished speaking another audible drop of cum was heard hitting the floor beneath us. We both exhale a small laugh – an acknowledgement of how bizarre the situation was.
He brushed some hair away from my face, “How about we have a little chat tomorrow, yeah? When we’re both a bit more clear headed.”
I couldn’t tell if he just wanted a way out, or if he wanted to make sure I was really okay with what had happened tonight. So I just nodded.
“Alright, let’s get you sorted then shall we?” He helped me into a sitting position and attempted to adjust my clothes a bit, as if I wasn’t the picture of freshly fucked; one of my dress straps had torn, my hair was completely messed up, with equally messy makeup, and of course – literally dripping cum.
I had to stifle another laugh.
He pulled away, adjusting his own clothes, and shot me one last smile before slipping back to his room.
I sat there for some time, taking in the mess all around me. Almost all the bottles were on the floor, with one of them having shattered.
How had I not noticed?
There wasn’t a chance everyone in the band hadn’t heard us.
This will be awkward tomorrow.

LotR Week - Day 5 (20th Sep)
Here with me — @lotrweek
Tumblr media
All of Rohan stood at the ready in and around Edoras, eager to behold their new king. Everything was prepared and cautiously measured. Banners, flags, food, drink. Hardly any flowers or garlands, but that did not matter to them. The Rohirrim wore their shiniest armour or most fancy dress, their blond heads plaited and adorned with the most intriguing hairstyles for whomever was foreign to Rohirric customs. And there were many who attended from outside the kingdom too.
As Éomer insisted, he would first pay tribute to the funeral mounds of his predecessors, then climb the capital while mounted on his horse, solemnly making his way through his people up to the Golden Hall and his throne, where the crown would be placed upon his brow by his sister. A simple ceremony, despite the symbolism behind it. He was a man of simple taste, like most of his kin. There was no wish for any luxurious display typical of Gondorian events, even though Aragorn’s coronation did impress him greatly.
Éowyn was waiting outside Meduseld by Faramir’s side, dressed in her most formal gown. She nervously fidgeted with the trimming of her sleeve, casting several glances towards the city. She could merely catch a tiny glimpse of the Barrowfield, so crowded were the steps to the Hall. But there was nobody to be seen by the graves. No silhouette, no cloak, nothing.
She let out yet another sigh and flattened her cuff again, realising that she messed it up by tweaking it. Her nerves were getting the best of her.
‘He is late,’ she murmured. ‘I saw that he was clothed on time, so why is he late?’
A hand cupped her shoulder, alleviating some of the weight that she placed upon them.
‘My lady, do not fret so much,’ Faramir whispered to her in his honeyed voice she had learnt to cherish. ‘It is not unusual for ceremonies to run late, either in Rohan or Gondor, I am sure. Whatever is keeping him from the ceremony must be justified.’
Éowyn nibbled on her lower lip, absent-mindedly covering his hand with her own. The warmth of his skin temporarily soothed her, but she could not prevent the whirlwind of possibilities to take over her mind. What if her brother was ill? What if something crucial was missing? What if the blade of his sword had not been polished well enough for his taste? What if he was injured? What if the preparations for the ceremony now seemed too dull to him, and he preferred a Gondorian celebration? What if somebody snuck inside and attacked him?
Another look thrown towards the mounds. Another answerless inquiry.
She shook her head and tugged at her skirt.
‘I must check on him. I just want to make sure that he is alright.’
Before Faramir could seize her hand and hold her back to comfort her, she stormed towards the doors and nodded at the guards to open them. Inside the hall, there were only servants and maids arranging the last details for the coronation, bringing in benches and setting up pelts upon them, as well as on the throne itself. Banners were hung from the lofty arches, bearing the colours of the realm and Éomer’s arms. The mere sight brought some balm to her heart. She could already tell that her brother would be loved by all, as he deserved to be.
But that relied on his presence at the coronation, which was still uncertain. Where could he be? Éowyn searched the kitchens first, wondering whether her brother would feel peckish if he felt anything as nervous as she did. None of the kitchen staff had seen him.
Then, she moved her quest to the King’s Quarters, inspecting the office, the archives, but he kept eluding her. So, as her last resort, she gathered up her skirts and ran towards the royal quarters. As beads of sweat manifested on her forehead and trapped the few flyaway hairs detaching from her hairdo, she nearly sprinted down the corridor to reach Éomer’s door.
When she stood there, she softly knocked but earned no response. Frustrated and stressed from the delay, her fist slammed harder against the wood. Nothing. Yet she would not accept it. She instantly forced the door open and scanned the room. A sniffle from behind the bed caught her attention. She snapped her head towards the source of the noise and followed it.
Huddled up on the floor with his back pressed to the bedframe, Éomer was painfully pressing his knees up to his chest, despite the stiffness of his ceremonial armour. Tears stained his reddened cheek and drowned his unfocused eyes. He looked an utter mess, right when he should not.
Éowyn sank to the floor by his side and held him by the shoulders, trying to bring him to look into her eyes as they bore into him.
‘Éomer, what is happening?’ she whimpered helplessly, taken aback by the alarming sight. ‘Everybody is awaiting your arrival.’
He roughly wiped his cheek, not bothering to look at his sister — or perhaps he felt too ashamed to do it — and sniffed again.
‘I cannot do it, Wyn.’
Her brow furrowed. She could not imagine how her brother, renowned for his bravery and strength of will, would yield to the promise of the throne. Now that their family had been robbed from them, she was most likely the living person who knew him best, and she never had seen him in such a state since the passing of their parents.
She sat down beside him and nudged him with her shoulder.
‘Why is that, Mer?’
He gathered himself up, regaining enough strength to explain his anguish when words so fleeted him. Despite his state, he sensed the urge to spare her from the harshness of what tormented him, in the same way that he had sought to protect her ever since she was born. But there was not much that he could hide from her now. She had eyes, and it was about time that he stopped infantilising her. She had proven herself worthy of the greatest honours; he could no longer confine her to the image of a helpless child.
As if she had ever been that.
‘I never meant for any of this to happen,’ he sighed. ‘Théodred’s passing, the war, our uncle’s passing… I was never educated to become king. I was never taught state affairs. I am a soldier. That is all I have ever been. What legitimacy do I have as a king? I deserve none of it.’
‘Mer…’
Éowyn wrapped her arms around him and laid her head on his shoulder. Oh, how it pained her to see him in such a state. Her thumb traced soft lines on his arm at a soothing pace, helping him relax by the minute.
‘You are underestimating yourself,’ she murmured. ‘You have much to learn, as does every king accessing the throne, but that does not mean that you do not know anything. You were a prince once, before our uncle became king. You received the education of a prince by your old tutor. Surely Théodred spoke to you about some things he learnt. You two were close.’
‘He did, but what legitimacy does it give me?’
‘The blood of the royal house of Rohan flows through your veins as it does through mine. You have spent your youth, your whole life defending the realm. You are a war hero. How would you not be the ruler that our kingdom needs?’
Éomer scoffed and planted a brief kiss on her forearm, clinging to it.
‘We have hardly had any time to mourn Théoden and Théodred. Everything happened so fast… My heart is still aching.’
‘War brought much torment to our family and continues to do so even now that it is over. Do not keep the pain at bay. Embrace it, but acknowledge your duty as well, Éomer. Today is yours to seize as our new king. You can grieve for as long as you need to once the crown has been placed on your head.’
‘Will it not alter my capacities to carry on my responsibilities?’
She shook her head and shifted closer to him. This time, their eyes met, and for the first time since everything went dark for them both, they saw the child within themselves and the other. Two children, almost left to their own devices, alone against a hostile world that threatened to annihilate everything they knew and held dear.
For a long time, they only had each other. Théoden and Théodred, as much as they cherished them, hardly understood the extent of their loss. For years they hid their pain to keep up with their uncle and cousin and accommodate themselves into the new roles bestowed upon them. And when Gríma planted his rotten fangs under the king’s skin and poisoned him, the siblings were alone against the world again.
And they would always find each other in the end. Despite Éomer’s banishment, despite Éowyn’s narrow escape from death.
Éowyn tightened her grip around her older brother. She had too often overlooked the simplicity of a fraternal embrace, words of encouragement towards each other. They mattered now. More than ever.
‘You will be a just king, Éomer. I just know it. And I believe in you.’
‘But…’
Tears flooded his eyes anew and spilled onto his beard as he let out a gasped and trembled.
‘But you will not see any of it. You will not be around. I am about to lose you too,’ he wept.
‘Lose me?’
He shrugged and clutched her arm.
‘You are leaving for Gondor. You will settle down there, build a family and a life there. Will I even see you again?’
Éowyn’s eyes widened at his words. Never had she imagined that she had caused part of his strife. She had been elated about her engagement, which was to be announced later on during the celebrations, but she had no clue that Éomer would resent it in any way.
Her thumb wiped away his tears.
‘You are not losing me, Mer, nor will you ever. My marriage will never come in the way of our bond, I promise you that. I will visit as often as I am able, and you will know your nieces or nephews. They will know your name and your face, and their eyes will light up with joy whenever your name is mentioned. I will make sure of that. Besides, you will always be welcome in our home.’
‘Do you really mean that?’
She laughed and ran a hand through his hair to tame the knots that he had created by clutching tresses of it when nobody was looking.
‘Of course I do! You are my brother, Mer, and I do not want a life where you are estranged.’
‘Mh.’
At last, he allowed himself to smile, despite the brevity of the display. She grinned and kissed his cheek.
‘I will always be with you,’ she intoned. ‘Today especially. I am here with you, and I have no desire to turn away.’
Éomer sighed and held her against his heart.
‘Here. With me. Alright. Perhaps I can do this.’
They parted and stared at each other for a few seconds, before chuckling together. She stood up and held out her hand.
‘Come on. Your people are waiting.’
He took it without thinking and allowed her to straighten up his appearance. Before they walked out the door, he halted her with a hand on her back.
‘Before we go…’
She looked up at him expectantly, wondering what he had to say. He was never one for emotional or affectionate displays. Éomer inhaled deeply and smiled at his little sister.
‘You look beautiful today. And you will be the most gorgeous bride in history. And I love you.’

-----
The warmth of his blood rushed to his rosy cheeks as Eddie stepped inside from the biting weather. The first fall of snow had begun earlier that day, sticking and clumping almost instantly to create a thick, cottony blanket on the ground. While the roads had unfortunately become mounds of brown slush, Hawkins was still a depiction of a winter wonderland. It was getting late. There weren't many cars on the road, just the odd few careful drivers making their way back home after a long shift. The snow glittered under the yellow glow of street lights. It was still falling, although not as heavy as it had been. Snowflakes gently swirled to the ground like powdered sugar, denuding leafless trees and dressing them up in white for the festive occasion.
Stomping the snow from his boots, Eddie wiped his shoes on the doormat as he removed his thick coat and woolly scarf, before placing them on the hangers. It was his favourite scarf - the only scarf he had ever owned. It was just a plain red colour, but it was your favourite colour. He remembered you telling him the story of how you had begged your mother to knit one for him, claiming your mother's scarfs were the best way to keep warm. And well, you weren't wrong.
His skin tingled from the warmth of Steve's house, which was like a furnace in comparison to outside. Steve had gone all out this year. Being the host for the holiday party had certainly gone to his head. There was sparkling tinsel and Christmas lights everywhere, winding down the staircase and hanging on the door frames. And that was just in the entryway. The sweet smell of pine and oven-baked goodies led him towards the living room where there was a muted chatter and Christmas songs were playing loudly on the radio.
Christmas is an event that brings people together to celebrate the holidays and blessings of the year.
And it's also an excuse to eat a lot of food, party, and get wasted.
At least those were Eddie's plans, until a certain someone had to ruin it.
Eddie made his way inside the living room, receiving a few greetings from people who hadn't been wrapped up in conversation. There wasn't nearly as many people as he thought there was going to be. Steve was well known for his parties back in high school, inviting anyone and everyone whether he knew them or not. But this was more of a small gathering. He noticed Robin talking to Nancy and Jonathan, and the group of six kids all trying to squeeze onto one couch. Well, they weren't kids anymore, all of them having left high school now, but the name just stuck with all of you. Eddie stepped further inside, trying to hide the look of awe on his face when he eyed the decorations. More lights, more tinsel, garlands, ribbons, and streamers hanging on the ceiling. And to top it all off, the most brilliant tree he had ever seen.
But that wasn't the most beautiful thing in the room tonight.
Eddie's heart almost stopped when he locked his eyes on to you. You hadn't noticed him yet and he was able to take all of you in. You were stood in front of the tree in between Steve and a man he had never met before, who was being a little too handsy for Eddie's liking. The light of the tree accentuated your silhouette and cast you in a warm glow. If Eddie hadn't known any better, he would have thought he had died and gone to heaven; you looked like an angel. He admired how the light reflected off of the red sequins on your dress. It was a short dress, showing off the length of your legs, and the puffy sleeves rested below your shoulders, showing off your collar bones and a teasing amount of cleavage. He quickly diverted his eyes away and up to your face before he was caught. You were wearing make-up. He would never deny that you looked gorgeous, but it wasn't something that he was used to on you. Your eyes were light and smoky, and your lips were a tasty bright scarlet to match your dress. You had never worn that much make-up in the years that you had dated. He wondered what had changed your mind. He watched your lips stretch into a genuine smile that had managed to replicate itself onto his own. He had always thought your smile was contagious and had even joked that there would be swarms of people in hospitals who had caught the disease that was your smile.
Only, his smile didn't last as long when he saw who had made you smile. The stranger he had mentioned before had his arm around your waist, pulling you in to kiss your temple. He was the perfect portrayal of tall, dark and handsome, dressed in smart pants and a button up shirt beneath a leather jacket. It seemed you had a type. Your left hand rested itself on his chest as he pulled you closer, and Eddie saw the unmistakable glimmer of a ring on your finger.
His heart sank to his stomach. For five years he had been waiting for you. And in those five years you had managed to move on, unlike Eddie, who had been longing for a chance to take you back. But now, seeing you with him, all of that waiting had been for nothing. Eddie still loved you, but that ring on your finger was the nail in his coffin. He was forced to put it to rest, because you didn't love him anymore. You were in love with someone else and Eddie had to let go. Not the love that he felt so strongly for you, but the expectation that he would receive the same love from you again.
But that would be easier said than done.
He almost felt sick to his stomach that someone got to have you the way he had. They got to feel the softness of your skin, the taste of your lips, the silkiness of your hair. He wasn't even aware that you were seeing someone else, having not been in contact with you since you left Hawkins to go to college. You had finished college a year ago, but you hadn't come back - until now. He'd always had it planned out in his head; he would find out you were coming home, he'd race to the airport and arrive just in time to see you get off of the plane, you would see him and run into his arms and kiss him and hug him and tell him how much you loved and missed him. But reality is often disappointing.
He couldn't stay here any longer. Seeing you happy with someone that wasn't him was enough to shatter his heart into dust. He couldn't bare the thought of having to talk to you anymore, especially because you would no doubt introduce him to your new fiancé, who he wanted nothing to do with. He wasn't up to watching his world crumble around him. With a heavy heart, Eddie made the decision to leave.
He did a complete 180 and sped-walked to where he had left his coat and scarf, ignoring some of the funny looks he had received. He tried his best to keep his tears at bay when he saw the concerned look on Dustin's face, who had watched him leave. Quickly, he swiped on his coat, not even putting it on properly before opening the front door. He was in two minds whether to leave the scarf off, but when a wintery gust blew from the open door, he decided to wrap it around his neck.
"Eddie?"
He paused in his tracks with wide eyes, trying to fight the palpitations in his heart. Taking a deep breath, he reluctantly turned to face you.
"Hey Y/N, how are you?" He noticed your eyebrows rise at his unintentional enthusiasm.
"I'm great." You didn't hide your confusion as you stepped towards him. "Are you good? You seem a little tense."
"I'm good, great even!" He cleared his throat awkwardly. "I was just gonna ... get some air."
"Oh, well I was hoping we would be able to catch up before we leave, there's someone I'd like for you to meet. It'll only take like two seconds."
You were looking at him with those beautiful eyes of yours and he so desperately wanted to say yes. "I-I can't."
"You can't? Look Eddie, I know how you can get meeting new people but he's ... Nice. I think you'll like him." You sounded like you were trying to convince yourself too.
"No, Y/N."
"Why not?"
He was hopelessly raking his brain for any excuse, but his thoughts were clouded by those three little words; I love you, I love you, I love you.
"Because I can't stand seeing you with someone else." The words just fell from his lips. He knew he couldn't lie to you. You could see right through him. "I don't care how nice he is, I just want you to be with me." He might as well go all the way now. " ... I still love you."
"That's not fair, Eddie. You can't just say that to me. Not when you were the one who told me to leave."
"Sorry, but it's not like there's a shut off button to end my feelings for you. I didn't mean for it to be like this. I never wanted you to leave me to go to college."
"Then why did you tell me to go?"
"Because I wanted you to be happy. You were so excited to go to college, I didn't want to hold you back. I just didn't think we would lose touch like we did."
You couldn't believe it. After all of this time you thought he had just used it as an excuse to break up with you. Things were rocky between you before you went off to college. You were arguing more and giving each other the silent treatment more often than not, you thought for sure that it was going to be the end. Despite all of that, you hadn't left things on a bad note. He had still told you he loved you and that he would miss you when you left. But you thought it was to cushion the blow for when he eventually broke up with you. You wanted to kick yourself. You could have had him all this time, but you only had yourself to blame. You didn't have to latch on to the first boy who made a move on you because you were scared of being alone. Eddie was yours. He was still yours. You could have died with happiness, only this made everything more complicated. You were engaged, but to a man you didn't love. Well, you still loved him, but not nearly as much as you loved Eddie. Charlie, your fiancé, had reminded you so much of Eddie with his leather jackets and similar taste in music. But he just wasn't the same. Eddie was irreplaceable.
Eddie could tell exactly what you were thinking, he always did. You still loved him, or had some kind of feelings for him at least. His heart was racing - there was still a chance for him to be with you. There was a look of relief on your face. Relief mixed with guilt. He knew why. You blamed yourself for the break up because you were the one that had truly pushed him away. But he was to blame too. There had been a serious lack of communication between the two of you. But you were also guilty for feeling these things for him because you were with someone else. If he was being completely honest, Eddie didn't care much for how your fiancé was feeling, as long as you were okay.
"It's not your fault, you know? I can tell you're thinking it." His voice was deep and genuine.
"But it is, Eddie. I pushed you away because I thought you were trying to break up with me, but you just wanted me to be happy. What kind of girlfriend does that?" Your eyes welled.
His heart jolted hearing you refer to yourself as his girlfriend. He had missed that so much. He had missed you so much.
"Hey, it's my fault too. I should've tried more, or communicated better." He brought you closer, pulling you in for a hug.
You still wore the same perfume.
He still wore the same cologne.
You melted into his touch, relishing in the familiarity of it all. His arms were strong and warm around you, but you were longing for more. You felt as though you could meld into him as you pressed your cheek to his chest, feeling his lips on the top of your head. You were in absolute solace. It was so perfect that tears sprung in your eyes again.
Pulling away, you looked up to stop the tears from rolling down your cheeks and ruining your make-up, when you noticed a small plant with white berries hanging in the doorway; mistletoe.
Eddie's eyes followed yours.
"What do you say," He looked to you, stepping closer and taking his hands in yours, "one more, for old times sake?"
He could tell by the look in your eyes that you wanted to as much as he did, despite your initial hesitance. His lips brushed against yours, as delicate as a butterfly wing, just long enough for you to inhale his breath. You knew exactly what he was doing. Eddie was always one to tease. Impatient, you pressed your lips softly to his and it was like you were five years younger. His happy sigh vibrated against your lips as he tasted you. He quickly became addicted to the fruity taste of mulled wine that lingered on your mouth and he brought a hand to your cheek, trying to pull you closer to taste more. Your palms rested on his shoulders as his lips parted slightly, allowing your tongue to slip inside. His tongue was silky against yours as he tilted his head to the side and opened his mouth wider. The two of you moved like clockwork; perfectly in sync, like you were made for each other. You could practically feel the flame igniting in your hearts, burning brighter and brighter with every peck of your lips.
But that flame was quickly blown out when footsteps echoed towards the two of you. Reluctantly, you pulled away, taking a step away from Eddie who quickly turned away to wipe the red lipstick from around his mouth.
"Babe, you ready to go?" Charlie approached you with a smile, not paying attention to your flustered expression.
Your heart throbbed for him. He didn't deserve that. Charlie was a good man. Despite being a little vanilla and a major workaholic, he had always been well mannered and had yet to treat you disrespectfully. Besides you had moved on from Eddie, or at least you thought you had.
He eyed Eddie, who had turned back around, his fingers still lingering on his swollen lips
"I don't believe we've met, I'm Charles, Y/N's fiancé." He held out his hand for Eddie to shake.
Eddie stared at his open palm unimpressed before firmly clasping his hand in his. Probably a little too firmly. "Eddie."
You didn't miss the small wince that Charlie tried to hide as he shook his hand, staring intently at each other. You began to worry at their behaviour, thinking Charlie had saw you two and he was trying to prove a point that you were his. But he never said anything, they just stared at each other for a good few seconds. You looked between them like you were waiting to see who would lash out first, but it never happened.
"Thank you guys for coming." Steve beamed, jogging towards the three of you, wanting to see his guests out like the good host he was. Your shoulders relaxed as Steve broke the tension. He gave you a quick hug and Charlie received another firm handshake.
Charlie retrieved your coats, sliding yours around your shoulders before pulling his on and saying a quick goodbye. He was already halfway out the door, pulling you along with his hand in yours. Your stomach sank, he seemed angry, like he was in a hurry to get you alone so he could have a go at you. It was a side of him you had yet to see - that you didn't want to see. You pulled against his hand, looking back at Steve and Eddie.
"Thank you for having us, Steve. I really enjoyed tonight. Merry Christmas!"
You freed your hand from Charlie's causing him to look at you in confusion. You took one step forward, keeping your eyes on Eddie, who was staring intently at the ground.
"Eddie," He looked at you with a hopeful glimmer in his eyes, like he was asking you to just drop everything to be with him, "it was good to see you again."
He tried to hide his disappointment with a tight lipped smile. "You too. Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas."
With a sad smile, you grabbed Charlie's hand again as he led you to his car. You reached the car first, wanting to get inside and out of the cold, and wanting to get this argument over with. You opened the car door, pausing before getting in to watch Eddie and Steve disappear behind the front door. There was something about it that felt like that was the last time you were ever going to see him. There was a small part of you that thought maybe it was for the best, but you couldn't get him out of your head. The two of them made you feel guilty. It was like you were standing in the middle of a road, trying to decide which side wouldn't get you ran over.
Your thoughts were cut off when Charlie pushed you against the side of the car, pressing his body into yours and kissing along the side of your neck. You gasped, trying to move away as the handle of the back door dug into your spine.
"What are you doing?" You were shocked at his actions, he had never been this forward before. You tried to push him off of you.
"You looked so good tonight, I just couldn't wait." He said it like it was obvious. Maybe he wasn't angry after all.
"Can we please get in the car?" You asked, though it wasn't really a question.
He smirked at you as though you had asked him to take you home and fuck you. But you weren't in the mood tonight. He gave you a quick peck on the lips and jogged to the other side of the car. You had to fight the urge to wipe your mouth as you sat in the passenger seat. Your lips were still tingling after your kiss with Eddie and you felt as though Charlie had tainted the feeling you were trying so desperately to savour.
You folded your arms, looking mournfully at Steve's house as Charlie reversed out of the driveway. You stared at it for as long as you could, imagining Eddie running out of the front door and chasing you down the street - until you turned a corner and it was out of sight.
"You good?" Charlie looked at you and you wished he would keep his eyes on the road.
"I'm fine." You replied bluntly.
"Is this about that Freddie guy? Did he say something to upset you?"
"What? No. and his name's Eddie"
"You sure?" He ignored your correction. "I saw how he was looking at you, I thought that maybe he had tried something."
"No, I'm fine - wait, how was he looking at me?"
"Like he was sad, like he missed you, like-like he ... loved you." He was trying to hide his jealousy.
You shut your eyes, hoping your lids would block your tears. Of course you already knew this, Eddie had told you himself, but there was something about Charlie telling you this that made it feel more real. He had seen it himself, Eddie loved you so much that he couldn't even hide it.
"I hope he knows he's got no chance." Charlie laughed. "You're mine, aren't you baby? I've got you all to myself."
You flinched slightly as he clasped his had on your bare thigh, rubbing his thumb softly along your skin as he turned another corner. While it was a tender gesture, you wanted nothing more than to slap his hand away. You didn't of course, he was your fiancé after all. You let it sit there, burning into your thigh. You hated how he called you his. He didn't own you, you were your own person not some kind of object someone could possess. You found yourself thinking how Eddie would never say he owned you. Although a part of you didn't mind if Eddie did say it. You knew Eddie wouldn't mean it the way Charlie did.
You couldn't help but compare the two in your head. Charlie was a wonderful man when you really got to know him and you did love him, but you weren't in love with him. You had almost forgotten what it was like to be in love, having clouded your own judgement by making yourself believe your relationship with Charlie was the perfect depiction of true love. But seeing Eddie tonight; smelling his  familiar cologne, feeling the warmth of his skin, the softness of his lips, had helped you remember what love could really feel like. But you couldn't just drop everything because you had rekindled an old flame. You had plans to make, a wedding to prepare. You were getting married. You couldn't just leave all of that behind, could you? Could you?
You quickly wiped the tear from your cheek before Charlie could see. It was only when he started to trail his hand further up your thigh, did you finally make your decision.
"Stop the car."
"Huh?"
"Please stop the car." You tried to hide the wobble in your voice.
Charlie stepped his foot on the break, panicking when he saw the tears in your eyes. He repeatedly asked you if you were okay as you unbuckled your seatbelt and stepped out of the car. The cold wind stung your cheeks and whipped your hair, but you brushed it off and made your way down the street, back towards Steve's house.
"Where are you going?" He followed you out of the car, nearly slipping on snow when he tried to catch up.
"I'm sorry." You sobbed, not even turning to face him. "I can't do this anymore."
He didn't follow you, too baffled and heartbroken for his brain to catch up with what was happening. He just watched as you walked down the street, pulling your jacket closer to your body and wiping your tears on the sleeve.
Your steps were getting quicker. First you were walking, then speed walking, then jogging, and now you were doing a full on sprint back to Steve's house - back to Eddie. You were thankful you had decided to wear pumps instead of heels, and that the snow hadn't frozen solid yet to the point it was slippery ice. Your breath clouded in front of you, and your adrenaline kept you warm against the biting winds. It felt as though you couldn't get there quick enough. You were well and truly out of breath when you reached Steve's house, banging on the door wildly.
There was a quiet 'alright, I'm coming' before Steve swung the door open.
"Whoa, Y/N is everything alright?"
You were bent over panting, looking like you had been dragged through a hedge backwards with your wild hair thanks to the wind.
"Where's Eddie?"
Steve furrowed his brows in confusion before replying, "He just left, he said he was going back to his place for an early night"
"Could you give me a ride?"
-----
Steve had hounded you with questions the entire journey, but you had stayed quiet. You feared you would throw up the second you opened your mouth to explain. This had been one of the most life changing decisions you had ever made. You had removed yourself from a wealthy family with a successful business. With Charlie you would never of had to work another day in your life. You could have been comfortable being his little house wife, but that just wasn't the life you wanted anymore. You didn't want a life without Eddie in it. With Eddie there would be risks, you knew that, but that was all part of the thrill he gave you.
But right now your heart was in your mouth as you stood at the door of Eddie's trailer. Nothing had changed in the five years that you had been gone. He was still living in his Uncle Wayne's trailer with the same rusty old van parked outside. You wondered if Wayne would be home. You had missed him dearly too, but when you noticed his car wasn't parked outside, you figured he was still doing his same old night shifts at the plant. It was crazy how much nostalgia this place gave you, even if it was only five years ago, but it had felt like a lifetime. There was a comfort in it almost that had gave you enough courage to knock on his door with a shaky hand.
Your stomach was doing somersaults when you heard movement from behind the door. You could hear his footsteps getting louder as he got closer, and you debated whether or not you should just turn and run.
But it was too late for that, when Eddie swung the door open, looking at you in surprise.
"Y/N? What are you doing here?"
You opened your mouth to speak, but no words were coming out. You wanted to tell him everything all at once, but it was too much for your brain to handle. Instead, you took the risk and decided to show him how you felt instead.
Bravely, you stood on your tiptoes and forced your lips to his. Despite being taken aback, Eddie reciprocated very quickly, poking out his tongue to taste the sweet wine on your lips again that he had been craving. He placed a hand on your waist, guiding you inside before shutting the door and pressing you against it. His lips ghosted across the skin of your neck, not only torturing you, but himself too. He wanted nothing more than to ravish you, mark you as his. But it was worth it to see the goose bumps rise on your skin as you released the prettiest sigh he had ever heard.
"Please, Eddie."
His finger touched your neck as he moved your hair from off your shoulder to expose more of your neck. His hands went down to your shoulders, where he pushed your coat down the length of your arms until it fell to the floor. His nose pressed to the junction between your neck and shoulder, breathing in deeply to familiarise himself with your scent again.
"Fuck, I've missed you."
His hands found yours, but his body stiffened when he felt the cold metal ring on your finger.
He held up your hand so he could see the ring better. It was delicate and light. The jewels had been woven into the band with careful precision, with the large diamond taking centre stage. It was a stunning ring - expensive. Something that he wouldn't be able to give you. Noticing the sad look in his eyes, you removed the ring from your finger without hesitation. You dropped it on top of your coat, reminding yourself to give it back to Charles. If you ever had the courage to see him again.
Your heart fluttered at his downward smile. You could tell he appreciated your actions when he intertwined your fingers and met his lips with yours again.
For the first time that night you felt free. The ring had tethered you to a man you didn't love and now the rope had been cut. There was nothing holding you back from kissing Eddie as much as you wanted. There was nothing holding you back from loving Eddie as much as you wanted. You untangled your hands to thread them in his hair, pulling ever so slightly in the way you knew he loved. You were practically trembling with excitement when he moaned against your lips, causing a wetness to pool between your legs.
"Eddie?" You mumbled.
"Yeah, sweetheart?" He began trailing kisses down your neck and you almost gasped from how good he made you feel.
"Show me how much you missed me."
He didn't waste another second, grabbing the back of your thighs and hauling them around his waist before kissing you again. He blindly manoeuvred around his trailer as he took you to his bedroom.
He clumsily dropped you onto his bed, stumbling over the messy clothes he had strewn over the floor. Everything was still the same. It was like you had never left and you absolutely loved it. He almost collapsed on top of you when he jumped onto his bed, causing you to giggle. Chuckling, he took your chin between his thumb and finger before he pressed his lips to yours again, kissing you deeply like he couldn't get enough of you. Your hands tugged at the bottom of his shirt, freeing his pale torso. Gently you glided your fingertips down his chest to the band of his trousers. You grabbed onto his belt loops to use as leverage as you arched your back, pressing your hips together. His hand made quick work on your dress zipper, sliding it all the way down before doing the same with your dress. He chucked it to the floor somewhere before latching onto your naked breasts. His tongue circled around your nipples before sucking on them tenderly, causing you to release a breathless whimper.
"Eddie I need you." You begged, fidgeting with desperation.
He smirked at you, kissing down your stomach to the band of your panties. He gently dragged them down the length of your legs and you hissed when the cold air made contact with your wet, throbbing pussy. You gasped when Eddie placed a soft kiss to your clit, but that wasn't what you meant when you told him you needed him.
"No, I need you now."
You could see the light bulb turn on in his eyes. Sticking out his tongue in concentration, he quickly unbuckled his belt and pulled down his jeans along with his boxers. Your mouth was watering at the sight of his dick. It had been a while since you had had good sex. Charles was okay, but he was way too vanilla for you, and you weren't very comfortable bringing up your kinks to him. Not like Eddie though. Eddie knew you inside and out, literally.
He pressed the tip of his dick to your entrance, collecting all of your juices so he was slick enough to slide right in. You winced at his girth as he stretched you wide.
"You can take it, baby. You've done it before."
You whimpered at his encouragement, relaxing your walls so he had less of a restraint. You could feel every ridge of his cock as he slowly slid inside of you, taking the time to let you adjust.
"That's it, baby. That's my girl."
You gripped onto his shoulders, giving them a little squeeze to let him know you were ready. He groaned at your tightness as he pulled himself in and out of your wet pussy. Every moan that left your lips gave him the motivation to plunge deeper inside of you, the curve of his dick hitting you in all of the right places.
He rested his head in the nook of your neck, biting every now and then to muffle a moan on particularly pleasurable thrusts.
His thrusts were deep and hard, like he was desperate to get impossibly closer to you. Being inside you wasn't enough for him. He wanted you to become one. Two hearts on a collision course to be come one in the same, to beat as one. He pressed his chest flat against yours and rested his weight on you, like you would eventually merge when you reached climax. You forced his lips to yours, which he gratefully accepted, breathing him in deeply and moaning into his mouth.
"Eddie, Eddie, Eddie." You gasp, raking your nails down his back.
"Fuck, what is it sweetheart?" He moans as he pressed his lips to your neck again.
You grip your hands in his hair, pulling harshly which caused him to moan once more. When you didn't reply to his question, he brought his head back up to look at you. Your eyes were squeezed tight in pleasure and you pulled your bottom lip between your teeth. He wondered if he had imagined you moaning his name, but when you continued to mutter it under your breath and between moans, he understood. He was fucking you so good you could think of nothing but him. No other words could come out of your mouth because your brain couldn't think if them. He had brainwashed you with his dick and he couldn't help the smug smirk on his lips.
"That good, baby? You like it when I fuck you like this?"
Your eyes rolled back, his words going straight to your core.
He wrapped his hand around your throat. "I asked you a question, sweetheart."
You nodded, letting out a pathetic 'yes' as he applied more pressure to your neck. Your cunt fluttered around his cock. Using his other hand, he pressed his fingers to your clit, rubbing tight circles that made you cry out in pleasure. You could feel your climax brewing inside of you, making you raise your hips to meet his thrusts to reach it quicker.
"That's good baby, keep doing that."
You did as you were told for as long as you could before your legs started to tremble. Your toes curled as you come undone, squeezing Eddie so tight he had to stop himself from cumming on the spot. He wanted this to last for as long as he could, but you were so fucking beautiful it made it difficult. He loved the way your eyes rolled back and how your face went red from moaning. The sheen of sweat that covered your body made you look so enticing. He kissed over your chest again, tasting the salt on your skin, still continuing to plough into you restlessly.
"You're so fucking perfect."
You wanted to cry at how good he made you feel. Ramming his cock into your overly sensitive cunt made your second orgasm approach quicker than you had anticipated. You could feel him twitching inside of you and you knew that he was holding back.
"Please cum for me, baby." You begged him. "Please, I'm so close. I want you to cum inside me."
"Jesus Christ, baby, you can't say shit like that." His eyes shut tight in concentration, trying desperately not to cum.
But you wanted him to. You wanted to cum on his cock while he came inside of you. You gripped onto the wrist of the hand that was still around your neck, forcing him to turn his attention to you. You looked deep into his eyes.
"Please fill me up, Eddie. Fill me up when I cum on your cock."
He thrusted a few more times, his cock gliding effortlessly in your juices. He moved both hands to your hips, lifting them up and driving deeper than you thought he could. You gasped and moaned freely without the pressure on your throat which spurred Eddie on. His thrusts became irregular but he still managed to goad another orgasm from you. Your walls clenched tightly around him as you screamed his name, definitely loud enough for the neighbours to hear. He stilled, pulling your hips flush against his as he emptied himself inside of you with a moan. Your pulsing walls were enough to milk him. You keened at the feeling of his warm, sticky cum filling you to the brim.
The two of you stayed like that for a few minutes, his softening cock plugging his cum inside of you. You just stared at each other like you couldn't believe that had actually happened. The both of you were still panting wildly until Eddie finally pulled out of you, collapsing beside you with a groan of exhaustion.
You bit your lip between your teeth when you felt his cum slowly leaking out from deep within you.
"Eddie?"
"Yes, sweetheart?"
"I love you."
"I love you too, baby. You have no idea how badly I wanted to hear you say that."
You giggled at him, wrapping an arm around his torso and resting your head on his chest. You were both still hot and sticky, and you knew that you would clean up soon, but you just wanted to stay like this for a little while longer. Just the two of you pressed against one another, no barriers between you, enjoying each others company after some long waited love making. Being here with Eddie, like this, you knew that this would be your forever.
Eddie pressed a kiss to the top of your head and you stared up at him, a loving smile resting on your lips.
"Don't smile at me like that, you know it drives me crazy."
You let out another laugh. Yeah, he was definitely your forever.
"Merry Christmas, Eddie."
"Merry Christmas, sweetheart."

Previous parts 1 2 3 4 In continuation of @misshoneyimhome's birthday celebration, here is Part 5 of The Sweden Chapter.
A/N - I'm going to try and limit overstating that I really struggled tying up this part up. I'm not sure why, and I hope the story somehow rises above that vibe.
I have truly appreciated the thoughts and feedback that I have received - I think I obsessively consider each option for Loren and William, and incorporate how I feel it might fit into the story that's mapped out in my head.
The boutique scene came from an anon ask asking what William might think seeing Loren in these fits. Thank you nonnie - I hope you'll enjoy that part.
Notes and Warnings - profanity, alludes to smut. I think that's it.

Once the dust settled in the days after Loren's initial arrival, William and Loren quickly established a blissful and comfortable routine that suited their typical easy-going nature. As much as Loren appreciated the opportunity to sightsee, she told William she was far more interested in just experiencing the normal day-to-day activities of living in Stockholm.
The days were filled with the best food combined with incredible company—William's friends and family had effortlessly endeared themselves to Loren and she to them. When they found themselves alone, the magnetism of their intense attraction was evident. Inside his apartment, every surface was fair game to give in to their steamy passion for one another. In the outside world, the two had their ways of showing their deep affection for one another through discreet touches and long, lingering gazes.
Time was flying by. As Loren approached the halfway mark of her trip, thoughts of leaving—not just William, but Sweden in general—filled her heart with despair. She had genuinely fallen hard for the city, William's inner circle, and most of all, William himself.
William often relied on his actions to articulate his feelings as opposed to words. Each morning he woke up with Loren, he pulled her body tight against his, savoring her presence and feeling happier than he had in ages. And he had much more planned for her stay—including a surprise 3-day side trip to Paris beginning the following day. William was quick to realize that the idea of him and Loren spending true uninterrupted alone time together could only occur in the offseason. In Toronto, the pressure of his hockey career often dictated how he and Loren spent time together and it left little room for spontaneity.
He just hadn't figured out when to spring the surprise on her.
Before their Paris departure, however, Loren, William, his siblings, and about a million of their extended friend group would be converging on an up-and-coming nightclub, where Malin's friend would be spinning popular dance and R&B tracks from the early 2000s for the club's inaugural "Ladies Night." Loren was particularly excited for that evening, as the opportunity to simply dance the night away had eluded her for years.
While William dressed for his pending golf tee time later that morning, she lay in bed regaling him with some of her wilder nights out when she was younger and far more carefree.
Under the light cotton sheet, William's eyes were riveted to Loren's silhouette as she swayed to an imaginary rhythm, playfully demonstrating her dance moves. Her tousled hair, alluring smile, and the suggestive way her eyes roamed over William from head to toe nearly persuaded him to cancel his golf plans. They'd already shared an almost-too-loud, passionate encounter that morning, but he could easily forgo golf to spend the day worshipping her—an activity he'd already planned for their Paris trip.
He pounced back onto the bed and crawled on top of her, kissing her everywhere his mouth could access as he groaned the most delicious and filthy ideas into her ear. Loren kissed his neck and grabbed his ass, pulling his hardness against her covered pussy. As bad timing would have it, William's phone chimed announcing the arrival of William's golf foursome. He moaned into her mouth, backed himself off the bed, untucked his shirt to conceal his burgeoning erection, and blew Loren a kiss before heading out the door.
Loren turned to face William's side of the bed, sheets still bunched and crinkled, the damp spot from their shared orgasms from earlier beginning to fade. She pulled William's pillow towards her body and buried her face into its softness. Whether he wore cologne or nothing at all, she cherished his scent as she smoothed her hand over the light cotton pillowcase. Loren then noticed the note William had written her which had made its way to the head of the bed during their amorous morning activities.
William had written the note first thing that morning after deciding to take the dogs for a walk alone. Loren, nearly as deep a sleeper as William, hadn't stirred from her slumber when he'd pulled her close upon waking. Knowing how little sleep she had over the years with the kind of hours she worked—plus the lingering jet lag—he wanted her to rest when she had the chance. When he returned with some breakfast fare, including a ristretto for Loren, she was still sound asleep in the exact position from when he left. Before making breakfast for Pablo and Banksy, he placed the note, the ristretto, and a nutrient dense smoothie that he has wanted her to try on her bedside table. He kissed her forehead gently, left the bedroom and headed out to the kitchen.
Loren awoke a few minutes later and as her eyes focused, she saw the note. His handwriting wasn't messy but it wasn't neat either—something that seemed to accurately describe his housekeeping tendencies as well. The note itself held such a sweet sentiment that made her beam, but it was the little drawing at the bottom that made her laugh. He drew her sleeping in bed with a dream bubble just above it with the caption "Oooo—Willy Nylander is so sexy." Well, yes, indeed he was…she couldn’t agree more.
With the note in her hand, Loren remained in bed, smiling as she listening to William talk to the dogs, followed by some off-key singing. Padding back into the bedroom, once he saw Loren was awake, he climbed across the bed. He gently took the note out of her hand and casted it aside while wishing her a rather sultry good morning. Within seconds, the little clothing William was wearing and the zero clothing Loren had on made for a quick and passionate reunion of body parts. Needless to say, Loren and William lit each other's flame of deep sexual desire, and soon the two were in the throes of not just hot sex—it was hungry, intense, and unbridled lust that was on full display between them.
Lying there, grinning giddily with the memory of their energetic morning encounter, Loren gently pulled the note towards her. She decided it would make a perfect keepsake to take home. Throughout her time with William, she had collected a few mementos, each one she treasured for different reasons. The experience of spending time with a Leafs superstar was something she'd never anticipated, and she knew that years from now, when her tits sagged down to her knees, these little reminders would help jog her memory (at least on a superficial surface level), having “amour fou” with a gorgeous Swedish hockey player.
With care, she tucked the note into one of her suitcase pockets.
Loren lounged in bed, sipping the smoothie William had left for her. She then savored the ristretto, following it with another healthy gulp of the nutritious concoction. As she mentally mulled over her outfit choices for the evening, Loren realized she needed more information about the club's style. She quickly sent a message to Michelle, asking what she planned to wear that night.
Loren was pleasantly surprised when Michelle offered to come over and assist her in choosing the perfect outfit for the evening. Michelle's intention wasn't merely to help Loren pick out somethingto wear. She wanted Loren to outshine Isla; she felt that if Loren looked her absolute best, they could indirectly address Isla's attitude from when they first met. It might sound mean-spirited but Michelle had been witness to far too many of Isla’s antics to sit idly by and let her bulldoze the kind and positive people of the world.
Loren kicked into high gear knowing she only had about thirty minutes before Michelle would be at the door. She swiftly changed the bed, hopped into the shower, got dressed, semi-dried her hair and applied the most basic of make-up to help even out her skin tone. Pablo and Banksy sat atop the fresh sheets, watching Loren dart around the bedroom as she readied for Michelle’s arrival.
Michelle entered the apartment with some more caffeine laden drinks. She postured for a quick hug from Loren and knelt down to greet both dogs. The two women fell into an easy exchange of how her stay with William had been so far. Loren laughed at Michelle’s reaction as she told the story of taking a lengthy dip in the freezing water at the lake house. Like William, Michelle, albeit impressed, thought Loren was nuts. Loren detailed meeting William’s closest friends and Michelle was in agreement with Loren’s kind assessment of Malin, Lisa and Ingrid.
Anxious to see what Loren had in mind to wear that evening, they entered William’s bedroom, beverages in hand, followed by Pablo and Banksy close behind them. Loren had laid out some ideas for the evening, all of which Michelle liked, yet the options seemed to somewhat underwhelming. The outfits were very nice, but Michelle desperately wanted to push Loren’s boundaries a little and coax her to embrace the idea of wearing an absolute show-stopper of an outfit.
While Michelle had been exposed to Isla’s total lack of couth or humility, she observed that Loren’s personality was brimming with politeness and free from vanity. It stymied Michelle that with Loren’s body type, and a face reminiscent of the classic supermodel from decades past, that she was so humble. If only Michelle could show Loren the full extent of her stunning potential.
Loren looked at Michelle with a mixed expression of concern and hopefulness that she would like what Loren had selected.
“I really do like the strapless body suit and slacks - and the blue dress with the thin straps is really nice…,” Michelle paused, choosing her words carefully, “but could you humour me a little and let me take you shopping? Honestly, you can make anything look amazing but I just want to experiment a little. What do you think?”
Loren's mind flashed back to her friend Chelsea's advice about branching out and being more daring with her wardrobe. With no plans until William's return from golfing, Loren jumped at the prospect of shopping with a female Nylander.
Michelle and Loren and their contrasting styles and personalities created an interesting dynamic. Michelle, like all the Nylanders, exuded an air of confidence and effortless sophistication. Michelle’s personal taste leaned towards an edgy, street-inspired style. Loren found Michelle to almost have a regal demeanor - a stoic disposition that was refreshingly straightforward. Michelle was a Nylander but did not grow up in the spotlight like her half-siblings did. She saw life in clear-cut terms and with the support of her mother, father and her extended family, she forged her own path in life.
Beyond their similar age, Michelle felt an instant connection with Loren even though they seemed to possess opposing personalities. Loren's gentle disposition provided seemed to perfectly compliment Michelle's more assertive nature. As their conversations became more detailed and elaborate, Michelle admired the subtle yet profound strength that she saw in Loren’s quiet determination. As Loren talked about her past and current life journey, Michelle was deeply impressed with Loren's ability to blend gentleness with an unwavering inner strength. Michelle smiled to herself as Loren seem to emulate the gentleness that she often found so challenging to emulate.
The boutique where Michelle and Loren ended up was one that Michelle had frequented many times. She knew this would be the perfect spot to bring Loren, as she had a strong and trusting rapport with the sales team.
As they perused the racks, Loren looked a little uncertain as her eyes immediately focused on the plunging neckline of the sleek tops. Loren had naturally shapely and full breasts which she was low key really happy with but felt sheepish about flaunting the girls proudly at a club. At the same time however, she found herself warming up to the styles and loved the neutral colours which heavily complimented her golden and olive skin tones.
Sensing Loren's hesitation, Michelle introduced Britta, her favourite and most trusted sales woman. Michelle and Britta were teaming up to find something for Loren that didn't just have a wow factor….they wanted Loren to go full bombshell.
With their combined expertise, Michelle and Britta began scouring the boutique for the perfect outfit. They pulled sleek dresses, sultry tops, and form-fitting bottoms, each piece carefully selected to accentuate every curve of Loren’s body. As they presented their choices to Loren, her eyes widened with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Michelle understood Loren’s trepidation but gently encouraged Loren to step out of her comfort zone, assuring her that tonight was the perfect opportunity to embrace her inner confidence.
Armed with an unsure “wish me luck” expression, Loren pulled back the curtain of the fitting room. Smartly, the area had soft, recessed lighting which cast a flattering glow. This was in stark contrast to the unforgiving fluorescent lights which Loren was accustomed to in the chain store dressing rooms.
Perhaps the most ingenious aspect of the fitting room design was the deliberate absence of mirrors within the enclosure itself. This clever arrangement served a dual purpose: it prevented customers from making hasty judgments about their appearance before a trained eye could fully appreciate and assess the ensemble. As customers stepped out to view themselves in the strategically placed mirrors outside, it allowed for a more objective evaluation of each look - free from the immediate self-criticism that often accompanies trying on new clothes.
As she slipped into the sleek, mineral-colored dress, she felt the soft, high-quality fabric hug her curves in all the right places. The texture and fit of the garment alone were enough to elevate her confidence.
Gathering her courage, Loren emerged from behind the curtain. The reaction she received uplifted her confidence even further. Michelle and Britta’s eyes widened in astonishment, their gasps of admiration filling the air. The transformation was so dramatic that for a moment, it seemed as if time stood still. Loren could feel the weight of their gazes, a mixture of awe and pride radiating from both women.
Loren's cheeks were flushed a vibrant shade of pink - a reaction not only from the enthusiastic hoots from Britta and Michelle but also from her own internal realization. As she caught sight of her reflection, it dawned on her that the dress was doing more than just flattering her figure - it was showcasing the results of her recent dedication to fitness in a way she hadn't anticipated. The cut and color of the dress accentuated every toned muscle and elegant curve, revealing a physique that even Loren hadn't fully appreciated until this moment.
As Loren turned to face the mirror, she couldn't suppress the smile that spread across her face. She felt a perfect balance of edgy and sensuality, a combination that made her feel both powerful and feminine.
Michelle wasn’t just impressed, she was truly taken aback. “Well, someone didn’t skip leg day…,” she remarked.
Studying her reflection, Loren turned from side to side. She just couldn’t get her head wrapped around one part of the dress. There wasn’t just a “little” slit in the dress that exposed a tiny bit of leg. It was a slit on steroids. A very noticeable gap that she was convinced would expose the apex of her thighs with every movement.
Loren turned Britta with a look of concern. “Ummmm… so, first….how…how does one deal with undergarments with this situation,” motioning to her general pubic area, “And how am I going to dance without constantly flashing my….c u next Tuesday - I mean, it’s a beautiful dress but yeah, there’s not a lot left to the imagination…” Loren said apprehensively.
Michelle and Britta exchanged knowing glances. "There’s a few different options, so try not to focus on that. As for dancing - unless you’re planning on getting wildly drunk - everything should stay covered. Even if it doesn’t, a little peek never hurt anyone,” Michelle winked.
Loren shook her head and laughed softly. With a hint of sarcasm, she wondered whether William would share the same attitude about potential wardrobe malfunctions.
Looking at the price tag of the dress, she instinctively recoiled at the cost but then realized it was in Swedish Krona. When it came to spending, Loren had programmed herself long ago to not splurge on anything unless she absolutely needed it.
However, she came to Sweden armed with one of her biggest financial achievements from her discipline with being so strict with her finances.
A credit card she still held under her name, the same card her ex-boyfriend had exploited, maxing it out without her consent or knowledge. The deception turned out to be the first of many as she uncovered layers of his betrayal and infractions against her, both personally and financially.
This credit card, second only to her mortgage in size, represented the heaviest financial burden Loren had to bear alone. Every time she saw the card, it served as a stark reminder of her ex-boyfriend's profound betrayal, stirring up a nauseating mix of anger and resentment.
Through strict discipline and a level of frugality that surprised many, Loren had finally cleared the credit card debt. She vowed to use it again only for necessities or the occasional well-deserved treat. As she admired the ensemble coordinated by two women who had been so encouraging, Loren decided it was time to gift herself a completely new outfit. This one would make her feel alive and maybe a little more daring—a look she hoped William would, as Chelsea had delicately said to her months before, "cum in his pants the second he sees her."
Given the evening's forecast of cooler temperatures and the threat of showers, Loren also selected a beautiful overcoat in neutral tones to match the dress. The coat quickly became her favorite purchase of the day.
As Loren and Michelle prepared to leave the store, Britta wanted a promise from Loren to return before her trip back to Toronto. Loren was so dazzled by her experience with Britta that she eagerly agreed, hinting she might visit more than once. This dose of retail therapy had clearly worked its magic—Loren found herself eyeing other eye-catching pieces around the boutique. Loren’s excitement for fashion was definitely reborn.
Seeing it was time that most were enjoying fika, the two stopped first at a quaint coffee bar for one of their signature beverages, and then for some ice cream before heading to William's.
The hours had passed quickly, and Loren had all but forgotten to check her phone until it chimed with a text from William. Although she had let him know that she and Michelle had gone shopping, he was wondering where she was. William had already been home long enough for a nap and his message carried an underlying hint that he had missed Loren being in the bed with him.
Michelle motioned for Loren to hand her phone over to her as a smirk spread across her face.
Loren's eyes grew wide as she watched Michelle call her younger brother. She hoped he wouldn't answer with some hot opener as he did sometimes.
"I was hoping you'd be home already… I need my mouth on your pus—"
Instant regret fell upon Michelle's face as she shoved the phone back to Loren, muttering in Swedish loud enough for William to hear most of it.
William laughed—he wasn't able to fully piece everything together, but he assumed, at the very least, his sister had heard far more than she wanted to.
After a post-sex nap and a rather amorous dinner in bed with William, Loren leisurely started to get ready for the evening. She stepped into the shower and began to mentally plan her entire look between hair, makeup, and accessories. The excitement she felt made her almost giddy as she thought about getting a little buzz going and dancing with people she had met in William's friend group who had made her feel very comfortable and at ease.
Through the plumes of steam, a naked William emerged. He stepped into the shower and immediately grabbed Loren to devour her neck.
William said that the night was shaping up to be a much larger gathering than initially planned. Isla was coming with some of her friends as well—something Loren already knew, but a pang of anxiety still rippled in her stomach. William quickly mentioned that Isla had been warned by Alex that she was so far out of line with the way she treated Loren during their first introduction. Alex had also told Isla she had pegged Loren all wrong, and that she should maybe try and talk to her first before making assumptions about her.
As the pair washed each other between gentle kisses and some brief playful fondling, Loren suddenly realized that Margot, William's one-night hook-up in Saint Tropez, would likely be there.
The confidence that Loren felt earlier that day while shopping quickly evaporated. The thought of being in a group with Isla AND having to meet a girl that William had fucked not long ago made Loren's stomach twist into knots.
William immediately sensed the change in her demeanor as the realization hit her like a ton of bricks.
Loren looked at William with a concerned expression that, while remaining absolutely stunning, worried him as well. "So… I'm guessing Margot will likely be there tonight, right?" she said quietly.
Her question nearly took the breath out of William's lungs—he had forgotten about Margot.
William's eyes remained fixed on Loren's as she struggled to mask the growing disillusionment she felt about the evening.
All William could do was nod his head and hope that Margot didn't show.
Loren's unease stemmed not from any concern that he might have feelings for Margot, but more from the two mental images she had of William—the player she admired from afar and the man she had fallen for. Tonight, however, these two personas in Loren's mind were now going to collide right in front of her eyes, in a club, where William would undoubtedly be the center of attention.
She was very aware of the countless men and women that would be drawn to William, seeking some kind of interaction and attention.
Rather than risk feeling vulnerable or trying to fight for attention, Loren decided to stay on the fringes of William's inevitable spotlight throughout the evening and focus on enjoying herself. She accepted this as part of William's superstar life and felt grateful she could choose to remain on the periphery of the constant camera flashes capturing his every move.
William held her and spoke affectionately, reassuring her that everything would be okay.
Loren shelved the uncertainty, leaned into him, and decided to do her best to regain control of herself in this situation and do the best she could to just go with the flow.
Part of Loren regaining control was meticulously ensuring she looked flawless from head to toe. She knew that feeling self-assured in her appearance would boost her faith in herself—a reinforcing cycle of outer versus inner confidence she hoped would carry her through the evening.
After applying one last layer of lip gloss, Loren emerged to see William scrolling through his phone as he waited for her.
"Okay—I'm all set, I think," Loren exhaled as she slid her cell phone into her clutch.
Her outfit was mostly covered by the light and flowing overcoat she had bought. Even still, William was totally unprepared for just how fucking gorgeous she looked.
He sat for a moment, literally stunned, with his mouth agape as he visually absorbed every detail.
William stood up, adjusting the crotch in his pants to accommodate the rush of blood to first his cheeks, and then down to his dick.
"Loren—fuck… I'm… totally speechless…"
He opened her coat slightly to take a better look.
How she looked in that moment completely rattled William to his core and left him breathless.
“You can thank Michelle - her and her friend Britta were the ones that convinced me that I might be able to pull this off. You know as well as I do that this is sort of beyond my normal crocs and leggings,” Loren chuckled.
William mused that he might have to thank Michelle both genuinely and sardonically, for Loren was definitely going to be on a number of radars, all evening long.
Going out with the Nylanders and their seemingly endless circle of friends was an experience Loren could hardly have imagined. Even more impressive was their ability to all arrive within 15 minutes of each other. With Malin and Erik orchestrating the transportation logistics over the group chat, Ubers of the appropriate passenger size were ordered by neighborhood. William, Loren, Malin, Erik, Michelle, and her boyfriend Tomas shared one Uber. The three younger Nylander sisters and a few of their friends arrived in another, and so on down the line.
Loren breathed a subtle sigh of relief when she learned that Isla and her group of friends would be arriving a little later, along with Alex and a few of his close friends. While Loren felt she could handle an evening of snide remarks and sneers from Isla, it was the added presence of Margot that gave her a sinking feeling. Loren was almost certain that at the very least, Margot would be visually striking, but it was the other thoughts twisting in her mind that exacerbated her worries: Who initiated what between them. Was he immediately aroused by her. Was he vocal. Was the sex amazing. Did he want more after they were done.
As though he could sense she needed his reassurance, William softly grabbed Loren's hand, pulling her body towards him as they waited for the rest of their group in the parking lot behind the club.
"No shade to the other ladies, but you're in a whole other league... you're so fucking beautiful," he murmured in her ear. She felt his palms gently but firmly holding her around her waist.
He kissed her softly on her mouth - his tongue lightly grazing hers. His mouth moved slowly up her cheeks that felt warm to the touch, and landed on her forehead. Loren’s feelings of uncertainty began to float away, but an uncertainty of a different kind began to take root in William’s gut. It was a foreign feeling - one that William had begun to quickly examine in his mind.
As he and Loren stood together with his friends, her, now with her back to him as his hands instinctively stroked her hips, he felt so lucky to have her there.
As her body leaned back against his, William realized that the moment Loren stepped into the club that night, her radiant aura and effervescent personality would captivate everyone's attention.
William reflected that he had been that guy, once upon many times, standing along the dance floor watching the most beautiful woman in the place enchant every man. He also remembered the aftermath—the moments where he had turned on his own charm and wooed those same women into his arms, and his bed, at the end of the night.
With his hands circling more firmly around Loren's abdomen, he was struck with an unsettling realization. "His" Loren would be that woman—the one who would command attention and lingering glances without even trying or wanting to. He could see it all playing out in his mind: eyes following her as she passed them by, conversations suddenly halted so they could gawk at her face, her body. Admirers would approach her all night—offering her drinks, trying to strike up conversation, or worse yet, placing unwanted and unprompted touches on her body while she danced. Some guys might remain lusting over her from afar, but William feared there might be just as many who would try to shoot their shot with her.
That's when William realized it. That feeling that had begun to gnaw at him. A hint of jealousy that he had never experienced before, threatening to undermine his usual confidence. The time he and Loren had spent together during this trip had been nothing short of magical. He knew he had never meshed so flawlessly with another—outside of his family and close friends, of course. Loren could be his friend. She had been his confidant on multiple occasions. He craved all of her—mind, body, and soul. The thought of men watching her, approaching her… fantasizing about what they would do with her—given the chance—tied his stomach in knots.
Though they were slated to leave for Paris the next afternoon, suddenly it could not come soon enough. He felt the urge to convince her to come home with him that very moment instead of going dancing. He wasn't sure if the emotions swirling around in him were born from possessiveness or protectiveness of her, or a mixture of both, but the more he thought about the "what ifs," the more dread he felt inside.
While William pondered these thoughts, another Uber pulled up with the last of their group that had planned to enter together.
Rasmus, his girlfriend Lisa, Emil, Anders, and Ingrid all stepped out of the vehicle, thanked their driver, and made their way over to the awaiting group. Ingrid and Lisa immediately honed in on Loren's ensemble, gushing over her appearance. Loren looked back towards William and gave his hands a gentle squeeze of affection before stepping away to embrace the two women. Emil and Anders greeted William and then moved to Loren, each giving her a warm hug. Rasmus draped one arm around Lisa and the other around Loren, sighed, and in a droll tone said toward William, "Got my dates for tonight."
William just laughed while he searched for a clever comeback. "You wish," was all he could think of as they all walked towards the entrance.
Security opened the side door to the venue where Malin met up with her former co-worker, turned DJ, who lead them down a dark corridor. Laser lights of every colour cut through the shadows and the pounding bass with heavy reverb ricocheted off of every surface.
It was still early by night club standards as they passed by empty seating areas which lead to an expansive room boasting vaulted ceilings and a massive dancefloor. The group was led past the long black and gold bar to a roped off section which had magnums of champagne resting on beds of ice.
Coats were checked, champagne was poured and the music pulsated with rhythmic dance mixes of the past two decades.
Malin grabbed Loren’s and Lisa’s hands as they followed her friend to where he and another DJ would be working their magic with their complex control boards and multiple turntables. Introductions and greetings were exchanged, with Loren and Lisa meeting Sergio and Zack.
Sergio first spoke in Swedish to Loren, and when she apologized half in Swedish but followed up in English, he asked her where she was from.
“Canada - I’m Canadian,” Loren said smiling. Sergio’s face lit up as he turned to Zack, motioned to Loren and repeated where she was from.
Zack adjusted some slide levers and as a new mix began, he spun a new vinyl record on its edges before placing it squarely on the turntable. A the familiar beat of blockbuster hit soon pounded throughout the space while the ladies whooped and danced behind the DJ’s.
They made their way back down to the dance floor, and it wasn't long before all the women in the Nylander party were out on the floor, their enticing moves on full display.
Despite the impeccable attire, flawless hair and makeup of all the women, each striking in her own way, Loren still stood out in the growing crowd.
The men watched from the sidelines, sipping their drinks and admiring their respective girlfriends as they bounced and swayed. William's eyes were locked on Loren, her fluid movements mesmerizing him as he watched her body. She was already fully integrated into the group of women as they each showed off their moves playfully as they whooped and hollered at each other encouragingly.
Loren's vibrant smile and infectious energy seemed to illuminate the entire dance floor. She gathered up her long, layered mane in her hands to cool off, but through William's eyes, she only grew hotter by the second. He couldn't help but notice the intensifying glances she was receiving from small groups of men lining the floor's perimeter. Rasmus, standing next to William, followed his friend's gaze—first to Loren, then Lisa, and finally to the men watching their girlfriends dance. Rasmus nudged William and nodded toward the bar, suggesting they get a drink and loosen up. Their ladies were just having fun and didn't need to be subjected to their men watching them like hawks.
As one song blended into another, the ladies decided to take a break and return to their exclusive cordoned-off area. Upon arrival, Loren's stomach flipped when she spotted Isla surrounded by her friends—all sleek, slender, and unmistakably Scandinavian.
Loren's eyes searched the space for William, but he, Rasmus, and Anders had ventured elsewhere. As she entered the area, she felt Isla's stares like daggers slicing her skin. Michelle and Ingrid noticed Isla's snide expression and muttered under their breath that they'd gladly slap that scowl off her face.
Loren did her best—she tried to smile and acknowledge Isla and her friends as she walked towards Michelle and Ingrid, exhaling deeply when Michelle handed her a full flute of champagne.
"Fuck—she really can't stand me, can she?" Loren said rhetorically.
Ingrid shook her head at Loren. "No, this isn't about you. She's threatened by you, plain and simple."
"But why? She's beautiful and so unbelievably stylish—she literally looks perfect to me. I have nothing on her." Loren looked around, avoiding eye contact with Isla's group. She silently wished William was nearby, just for a quick affectionate glance to help ease her growing anxiety. "I actually think she's brilliant for following her path with her vintage clothing channel. I could never put together outfits the way she can," Loren concluded.
Michelle scoffed and shook her head at Loren. “How you still pay her compliments after she’s treated you so badly - Loren - you are really something else,” Michelle said with admiration.
Soon Loren once again was surrounded by the women she was completely comfortable with. They chatted easily and moved their hips to their favourite songs as more drinks were poured and served.
Isla’s friend group was an energetic bunch, with Isla as its leader - her wild side was beginning to make an appearance as boisterous voice carried throughout.
But what jolted Loren is what Isla had begun to announce to her friends, loud enough so Loren was sure to hear.
“…they’re not even dating - Alex told me….William said point blank to him that she’s NOT his girlfriend.”
As the music continued to vibrate in the background, Isla paused as someone asked an inaudible question.
Loren’s cheeks began to burn as Lisa turned to her, having heard Isla’s scathing commentary.
Isla eventually resumed, talking overtop the bass line. “….No - no….he said he’s single - he’s not dating her exclusively….”
Loren heard Isla’s laugh as she followed up with what Loren could only assume were further remarks bordering on savage, about Loren’s character.
Loren tried not to wilt from the words uttered by Isla. Lisa leaned into Michelle, speaking into her ear about Isla’s ultimate rudeness and removing Loren from the situation.
Just as the women were about to depart, Alex came up to the group, greeting everyone with hugs. He embraced Loren and speaking into her ear, he told her how amazing she looked.
Blushing, Loren thanked him as he pulled her close again. “Have you seen William around?”
They turned to scan the club, peering past bodies and over people’s heads.
Loren finally spotted him, her face once again flushed hot when she saw Erik, William and Rasmus mingling and laughing with a group of women at the bar. The owner of the club seemed to be making sure that William and Rasmus were receiving preferential treatment by the myriad of scantily clad female servers.
Loren bit the inside of her lip, willing herself not to react but after Isla’s statements about what William and her were - and were not - it felt like the wind had been knocked out of her.
Lisa acted quickly - first telling Michelle that her William’s an idiot and that she and Ingrid were going to take Loren and try and track down Malin and the other Nylander sisters.
Michelle, having just about enough of everyone’s bullshit decided first to deal with William. She drew her boyfriend close as she quickly summarized the most recent events. She had to scold Tomas not to get involved as he was at the ready to give Isla a piece of his mind. She followed up with an appreciative kiss as she adored his protective intentions.
William smiled at Michelle as she glided up towards him at the bar. William suddenly got the impression that the smile Michelle returned his way was not necessarily a friendly one.
Michelle's slightly harsh tone confirmed her displeasure. "Enjoying yourself with these ladies?" she asked pointedly.
“Nah - it’s not like that. The owner is just doing his thing…we just got to talking a little bit while we got a drink.”
Michelle’s annoyance was beginning to show. “Oh - I assume you’re getting Loren something while you were back here too?”
“Well - yeah, actually…I need to ask her what she wants. She still dancing?”
Michelle smiled, but William knew it now masked growing irritation. "Oh, I actually don't know if she's in the mood to dance right now, since our other brother's girlfriend decided to mouth off about you. What was it again? How you told Alex that Loren's not your girlfriend and that you're 'certifiably single,'" Michelle said matter-of-factly.
William’s jaw clenched as he looked around to try and find Isla.
“Don’t you dare say anything to her. I don’t know what’s in your head but the last thing you should do is cause a scene - you know Isla won’t go down without a fight, no matter how wrong she might be. It will embarrass Loren more,” Michelle warned William. “Just leave it - I’m going to say something to her…and it will be brilliant because that’s me. You and Alex drew the short end of the sticks in the intelligence department and you’ll fuck it up so badly the second you open your mouths.”
“Jesus Michelle - okay, I get it” William chuckled before continuing “….but the worst fucking part is I had said all of that shit BEFORE Loren came here. She might not be my “official” anything but fuck - I want to spend more time with her - wanted to spend the time that we hadn’t gotten the chance to do back in Toronto. Until she understands more about my life and how it will affect hers - I…just wanted more time. I don’t think she wants to rush anything either….”
Michelle thought for a moment and for once, she agreed with William - but she would never let him know that. She stepped away while still looking at William and then at Rasmus. “You guys are really so fucking dumb.”
Rasmus's expression shifted to one of mild offence, and his shoulders hunched forward defensively. He turned to William and silently mouthed, "What did I do?"
As she started to walk away, Michelle then spotted Isla and a couple of friends heading to the ladies room.
Round 2 Michelle thought to herself.
Isla and Michelle had never quite seen eye to eye. Michelle didn’t care about Isla’s career path on reality TV, nor did she care about Isla’s future career as a stylist and fashion influencer. All she cared about is how Isla treated her extended family.
At best, Michelle had learned to accept Isla for who she was, as long as Alex was happy. She'd become skilled in dealing with Isla by simply ignoring her sometimes oblivious backhanded comments. However, this situation with Loren had gone too far. Michelle's protective older sister instincts kicked in, prompting her to intervene before William and Isla could have any kind of public confrontation.
When Michelle opened the ladies room door, the conversation between Isla and her two friends immediately ceased.
Michelle smiled and coolly greeted the women turning to look at her reflection in the mirror that spanned the width of the wall above the sinks.
Speaking Swedish, Michelle asked if they were having fun.
Isla cautiously replied that they were and asked the same of Michelle.
"Oh, I was having a phenomenal time with Loren and the girls. Did you say 'Hi' to Loren at all?"
One of Isla's friends scoffed.
"Oh—right, I forgot. You can't stand her," Michelle said calmly. "And stomp on her every chance you get," she added.
Isla shook her head. "Oh my god—it's not that bad. Poor little Canadian girl can't take a joke?"
"No one, least of all you, should be joking about anyone's private relationship. Not everyone wants to put every piece of their relationships—oh right—and their drunken hook-ups on TikTok."
Isla had no defense on that one, since she had done exactly that with Alex previously.
"And despite all of your bad behavior, do you know what Loren said about you?" Michelle wasn't waiting for a response and immediately divulged how Loren managed to compliment Isla, calling her brilliant for her fashion talents, someone who always looks so perfect and stylish. Michelle incorporated some additional slags that Isla made about Loren which Michelle had heard through the rumour mill, and continued to chastise Isla. Incidentally, Isla’s friends, who stood by watching her get an earful, silently agreed with Michelle. They knew Isla wasn’t all bad - she had good qualities but each one of them had their own war stories with their friend. They just took the good with the bad.
Once Michelle finished saying what needed to be said, she wished the ladies a good night and walked out.
Judging by the stunned look on Isla's face, the message seemed to be received. Of course, Loren's appeal to Isla's vanity, spoken to Isla on Loren’s behalf by Michelle, worked like a charm.
With her work done, Michelle approached Tomas as he, William, and Rasmus stood scanning the throngs of dancing bodies. Rasmus pointed out Alex and his good friend Linus on the other side of the dance floor. As the group crossed, William spotted Emil and Anders people-watching at another stand-up table.
While William chatted briefly with Alex about what Isla had said to Loren, he focused more on Emil and Anders two tables over. Leaned up against the table, the two men seemed to be deep in conversation. He tried to see what his two close friends were gesturing towards before he interrupted Alex's story and said he'd be right back. Alex's speech was slurred, so William figured his abrupt departure from the conversation would quickly be forgotten.
Not wanting to be saddled alone with his inebriated brother, Rasmus told Alex to pipe down and told him to follow William.
William walked up and patted Emil and Anders on the back. He motioned to Emil. “How’s your night going? See anyone you like?”
Emil shot William a knowing smirk, as though the answer was too obvious, and took a swig of his beer. “Not anyone that seems to be available - yet, anyway.” Emil chuckled at William’s unserious warning that he’ll pop him one if he keeps going down that path. The longtime friends already had a sidebar discussion, clearing the air between them. Emil and William valued their friendship to let resentments continue to fester.
“Saw Loren and Lisa - they really look amazing tonight,” he said to both William and Rasmus, who had joined them.
William’s face lit up. “Oh yeah - we’re looking for them….where are they?”
Emil motioned with his beer. “I think Lisa’s talking with Ingrid - but it looks like Loren is still talking to -”
Anders interrupted and swatted William’s arm. “It’s Simon Lööf….dude - fuck, we’ve been watching him and his boys watch the girls for awhile now. He finally went up and started talking to Lisa and Loren - well, I guess just talking with Loren now.”
Simon Lööf was an extremely handsome, Swedish triple threat of actor, model and rather good hockey player in his own right. William watched as Simon continually leaned over to say something to Loren, and she would then respond, smiling her beautiful smile back at him.
Emil nudged William’s arm. “She looked a bit upset earlier - did something happen between you two?”
“It’s kind of fucked up…I’ll tell you later, man.”
William continued to watch Loren and Simon's exchange. Simon was obviously very invested in Loren, but William couldn't discern much from Loren—she always smiled and seemed engaged when talking to anyone, so he hoped it was just her merely having her usual warm conversation. Regardless, watching Loren from afar, talking with a gorgeous guy—who was already pretty successful and whose star was still rising—left William restless and wanting to interject. Would it appear to Loren that he's insecure and jealous or simply wanting to be next to her?
Before William could make a move or just remain standing with Emil, Zack and Sergio, the evening's DJs, took to the microphones and reminded the crowd it was "Ladies Night," announcing, "All the ladies need to be treated right—especially the single ones!"
They told all the ladies that are single to come out onto the dancefloor - and for them to put their hands up - showing their ringless ring fingers, implying that if the guys want them, they’re gonna need to put a ring on it.
Emil glanced at William, wincing slightly as they watched Malin and Ingrid coax Loren away from Simon and onto the dance floor, only to slink off and abandon her there.
The DJs had defined "single" as completely unattached—making Loren the sole member of their friend group who fit the bill. William's heart sank a little as he watched Loren standing there, labeled as a single, unattached woman. He couldn't help but feel a sense of regret, thinking that if he'd stayed by her side instead of being drawn away by the club owner's offer of free drinks and other distractions, she might not be on the dance floor now, the target of so many eyes ogling her, advertising she is single.
On cue, the opening for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" by Beyoncé could be heard, with whistles and cat calls coming from the crowd.
Loren and another woman of similar age quickly found themselves at the center of the "single ladies" group. Their moves meshed surprisingly well, especially for strangers who had just met on the dance floor. Having met the DJs earlier, Sergio grabbed the microphone from his platform and pointed at Loren, while hollering, "Ahhhhh—yeeeeeeeeeeees—Oooooohhh Canada, gooooo Canada!"
Despite never being fully comfortable in any spotlight, Loren was having a blast. She had forgotten about Isla, about Margot, and about seeing William surrounded by women. She wasn't even quite sure where William was in the club, but she wasn't overly concerned at that moment. She knew at the very least that she was surrounded by amazing ladies in her group who had her back—ladies whom she hoped to forge long friendships with.
But what truly shocked everyone was watching Isla's venture onto the dance floor toward Loren. In her own way, she sought forgiveness by dancing alongside Loren, offering additional moral support. Isla added her own flair and attitude to the movements, which seemed to complement and coincide with Loren's.
William watched Loren—her body movements were seductive yet elegant as she lost herself in the rhythm. He was just as surprised as anyone to see Isla grinding up against Loren. While it was a truce offered by Isla, it was Loren who, all along, never allowed herself to be dragged down by the drama. Instantaneously, Loren just let it all roll off her back. In this case, killing Isla with kindness won out over the meddling bullshit that had been thrown her way.
She looked so carefree—William worried that if he approached her after the song, he would burst that bubble—that her demeanor would change.
As Beyoncé sang her final "uh-oh," which blended as sound bytes well into the next song, Loren hugged her new single dancing friend and wished her a good night. Isla pointed in the direction of Malin and the others who were now dancing off to one side of the main dance floor.
There were throngs of people everywhere as the music continued to pump out heavy bass beats. As Loren approached the group, Malin—who may have had too many Swedish Margaritas—threw her arms around Loren and told her what a good sport she was—and that she was too hot not to be out there shaking her tits.
Among the women she stood with, Loren was the most sober of the bunch. Although she was having fun, she began to feel lonely for William and became anxious not knowing his whereabouts in the club. She wasn't thinking one thing or another necessarily—she was just anxious to find him.
She took her phone out of her clutch and began typing a message to William, unsure if he would see it. It was a sweet and simply put message that she was missing him and was trying to find him.
Loren told the ladies that she was going to look for William and disappeared into the crowd. She did her best to scooch behind bodies, being careful not to step on anyone, be stepped on, or get jostled around as she shimmied through the crowd.
Loren was trying to navigate through the dancing bodies, all the while, hands belonging to inebriated men began trying to pull her into dance with them or touch her body. It was only for a handful of seconds, but after a number of hands clasped onto her inappropriately, she was desperate to find William.
She thought she had caught a glimpse of Emil when another hand pulled her in his direction.
Loren looked up to see Simon. "I was just coming to find you—see if you wanted to have a drink with me? Your dancing, by the way—was awesome."
Loren looked up at Simon's face and smiled apologetically. "I'm really sorry—thank you, but I really need to find my—"
She saw another figure approach. It was William, and she had never been so happy to see him.
He could see Loren was a little frazzled. "Hey—I've been looking everywhere for you," William chuckled in a light and friendly tone.He and Simon proceeded to do quick but amicable introductions in Swedish, as Loren stood next to William. She wanted his arms around her so badly, but she just smiled as they wrapped up their conversation.
William gently placed his hand on her back as Loren said goodbye to Simon. He watched as William guided Loren over to the tables where the rest of William's crew stood.
The guys applauded Loren for her showmanship on the dancefloor as she laughed and covered her face with a slight show of embarrassment. William leaned in close and almost felt her body vibrating with adrenaline.
He looked down at her smiling. "Single Ladies, eh?"
"Yeah, well—wasn't that like your go-to karaoke song a few years ago? Fuck, I could have used some back-up out there with the hand movements…" Loren feigned doing the classic Beyoncé hand movements from the song.
"Well, you almost nabbed a Swedish movie star—that was Simon Lööf, y'know," William said coyly, his hand starting to travel lower, resting just above the roundness of her ass cheek.
Loren shot an unconcerned look at William. "No idea—I couldn't really hear him anyway."
William's hand began to travel around her waist. Although the music continued to blare and the crowd danced and bounced to the rhythm, the room felt almost serene when she felt William press his body tightly behind hers.
He kissed her shoulder and, as quietly as he could, which really was just yelling at a lower volume, asked her if she wanted to go and get a drink.
Loren smiled and fished her phone out of her purse and texted him a response.
L - A drink, a dark corner and you—preferably in that order.
William read the message over her shoulder and gave her waist an affectionate squeeze. He took her by the hand, and within minutes, the drink had been drunk, the dark corner had been easily found, and William Nylander, with such fervor, nearly had Loren lifted off the ground against the wall as he kissed her passionately.
He suddenly broke the kiss, his lips still traveling down her neck. "You'll need to pack a few things tomorrow morning," he said as he nipped her at the base of her neck.
She gasped at the sensation and breathed out, "Why?"
"We're going to Paris—we fly out tomorrow afternoon."
The stunned look on Loren's face as a smile teased her lips was everything William wanted to see.
He nuzzled her by her ear. "I just want to spend a few days totally alone with you. We can do whatever you want, even if it's nothing."
"'That' will never be nothing. 'That' is the best something in the entire universe," Loren said suggestively.
William moaned. "What the fuck are we doing here still—let's just go say goodbye and get outta here," he said with a chuckle.
As they made their rounds, with some of their group opting to leave at the same time, a pair of blue eyes watched Loren and William from afar. As Margot stood at a nearby table nursing her drink, she watched her crush, William, walk away with her. Ever since Isla pointed Loren out to her earlier on, she watched - with a heavy heart - William watching Loren.
Margot almost approached William a couple of times throughout the night since it seemed he and Loren weren't exactly together at the club. But each time, he either moved or she could see his eyes fixed on Loren.
She knew that William was completely enthralled with Loren, and she knew he never once looked at her the same way, even when he was inside of her. But yet, it's all she could think about—his kiss, his hands, and him being inside of her.
The only thing that made her feel better was knowing Loren only had another week or so in Stockholm and then she would be heading back to Toronto.
Margot mused she might still have a shot with him before the summer ends.
